Nyoka slithers through the forest. She is looking for Uleme, actually. It has been a long time since she has seen the centaur.
But, she knows better than to call out his name right here. She is on the edge of the dark forest, and she really isn't in the mood for a fight right now.
Sighing, she leans against a tree. She hisses softly to one of her snakes, and it does as she asks.
Flicking its tongue out, it sniffs around for the scent of Uleme. Nyoka sighs when she gets none from the snake.
She decides not to make this trip a bust. Her keen eyes scan the area, looking for something to hunt. She wants some fresh meat. . . .

He sat in the trees, the forest was good for that, always supplying ample shade, camoflage and a height advantage. He got what he needed for today, more information on the town he'd been staying at. Now he was resting in the confines of the darkness, letting it wrap around him like a cloak. His ears perked at the sound of approach, it was human sized, crawling, and alone, this is what his ears told him.
He watched as the female grew clower, it was an interesting being, looking much like a young medusa. The adopted child of the fanger, he felt a smirk crawl along his face. He watched her look for a friend of hers, who that was he wasn't sure of yet, but he would look into it. She settled under his tree, and he got a birds eye view so to speak. She was hungry, or the snakes were, creatures with multiple "heads" were often tricky to grasp the feelings of.
He decided to help this one out, maybe it was the snakes. Drawing a black arrow from his quiver beneath his cape, a bow seemed to silently fold out of his left arm in his hand. Notching the arrow, he watched the skys and the tree lines. The arrow almost wiggled in anticipation, wishing to be let loos from the string. It suddenly pierced the air as it flew from the bot, their wasn't even a twang of the string. the arrow made a very brief almost whistle as it was initially shot. Not even hitting a leaf if raced from the tree and into the forest, weaving through the tree's. He knew which arrow he pulled, he would make another tomorrow. There was the tiniest of thuds as it hit the rabbits lung and throat, making it so the death was silent. He smiled and commanded his small construct of it's new destination. As it landed with the rabbit at the serpentine girls "feet" the arrow disolved into nothingness, and he mearly watched to see what she would do

Nyoka hears the faint whistle, her hearing having grown keener through training.
Not keen enough to, really, pinpoint the origin. She only knows that is was somewhere close. . . .
She is about to investigate, when the rabbit falls in her lap, so to speak. She frowns, watching the bit of wood rapidly dissolve. She knows, from personal experience, just what that is. She string her bow as she looks around.
Rather than say Uleme's name, she says, softly, "Lem?" she knows if he is around, he will hear her. And, he will know she is calling to him.
When she doesn't get a response, she frowns again. She leans forward, inspecting the rabbit. She picks it up, and holds it in a clawed hand.
"Hmm," is all she says. Descreetely, not moving her head, she looks around. She then concentrates, as she stares through her snakes' eyes as well.

He decided she was smart enough to look a gift horse in the mouth, so an introduction was in order. Standing on a solid branch, he took a step forward as if to stand on the air itself. Instead he fell forward, and would have fell to the ground, instead he swund around and stood on the bottom of the branch. His face came into view in front of hers, at the same height of her tall stature. She was alot taller than he was. His earthen hair and dark cape hung and flowed down and behind him. He offered a devilish smile and a partial tip of his hat.

Nyoka blinks when the man comes into her field of vision. It is the only sign she allows herself to show that she is shocked.
Her snakes hiss, irritated, and she blocks their conversations from her mind. Her fist closes tighter around her bow, and her free hand tenses, as though ready to grab an arrow if needed.
She quirks an eyebrow up, as her yellow-green, reptilian eyes take in the man before her. She looks up to his boots, and hides an amused smile at how he is hanging from the branch.
The devilish smile, however, brings a turrent of emotions inside of her. She is reminded, however briefly, of why she was seeking out Uleme. But, she pushes those thoughts away. She is not going to allow her ex to cloud her brain.
The corner of her black lips, however, twitches a little, and she replies, "Good evening, m'lord," she would have inclined her head, but since she didn't move back, she fears they would knock heads.

He grins lightly and looks her over from head to tip. She deffinately hat some interesting traits. He chuckled, slightly amused at her greeting, then again she was only returning the gesture he made.
" I am no lord, at least, it's not a title I hold, but I thank you for the gesture"
With the he gazed into her eyes for a moment, and almost appeared to be closer, drawing his face to hers. It was then he slowly walked down the tree, down its trunk and onto the soft earth. She had a foot over him, he mused over the difference in size. Leaning against the tree, he motioned to the rabbit with smile.
" I would have prepared it if I knew you were coming"

Nyoka keeps her yap shut about her own title.
She stops breathing when she feels the odd sensation of him getting closer to her. She shakes her head when he walks down the trunk. She keeps an eye on him, however.
When he indicates the rabbit, she glances down. The ghost of a smile returns to her lips and she looks toward the man again. "Well, that would have been a waste of meat," she says. "I eat it just as it is when I kill it. . . ." she explains.
She then tilts her head to the side, and raises a brow. "What brings you to . . . . This, particular, forest?" she asks, curious.

He peers up at her, from the side, lifting his brim to show enough of his eyes to get eye contact. The smile returns, both eery and charming even beneath the mask he wears.
" I was enjoying the view my dear.... then it suddenly got better recently"
He offered a playful wink to her and smiled again. He crossed one leg over the other and watched her closely in a restful state. Even with he weapon in hand he did not mind.

Nyoka resists the urge to roll her eyes. She gets come-ons at work all the time. . . .
But never ones accompanied by such a strange smile. It sends a chill up her spine, not in such a good way, either; but it also fascinates her. She lowers herself on her tail a little, relaxing just a bit.
She still doesn't trust this stranger.
She decides the best course of action is to ignore the remark completely, and offers a flash of white teeth as she smiles. "I suppose we should make some sort of introductions?" she says, though she isn't sure how forthcoming this man will be. "I am Nyoka."
Her snakes hiss at her again. She listens with half an ear, but finds what they say quite amusing. She keeps it to herself, though.

He smirks lightly at the introduction, then at her animal companions. Hard to think it was her hair speaking to her, but the world had changed his perspective a long time ago.
" I know... but thank you for the offer, I will go by a name you may choose for me if you wish?, I'm afraid my name is lost for all time"
He slips a coin from his pocket, it appears to be made entirely out of jade. He begins to turn it from one finger to the next, looping it under his hand and starting again from the beggining. It may appear he was doing a trick, but to him it was a way to keep his hand busy, sometimes it needed occupying or it'd do things he wasn't aware of.
" You hair dislikes me no?... not often I can say such a thing... I do not mind though, I can easily take my leave if that is your wish?"

Nyoka waves a clawed hand, brushing off the last comment. "Ignore them, I do most of the time," she says, and hisses to her snakes.
They immediately quiet, and curl around chunks of her long, loose hair.
She folds her wings close to her, and studies the man before her. "I do not wish to name you as though you are some. . . . pet. I guess I won't call you by any name, then," she replies.
She watches the coin moving, with a little interest. She shakes her head, to clear it, and asks, "Do you live here now?" she knows that there are many that have moved to the forest. Most, she does not know.
And, most of them, actually, are elves. . . . Which, the man before her, is not.

He tips his hat lightly, it was close enough to a bow as he would do. He never broke eye contact if he could do so.
" If that is your wish, then so be it"
He smiled, not often that one wouldn't give him a title, often they weren't very flattering names. It was perhaps she didn't want to know him all that well, that was fine by him, he lived to be the unknown. The coin was spun on its thinner side and danced around his fingers, he was eager to keep it busy.
" I... hmm stay... around. No where in particular as yet, invitations are very slim"
He smiled at that in his usual fashion, watching her eyes with a pupiless glow.

Nyoka crosses her arms over her bare chest, and lifts an eyebrow, amused again.
"Do you want an invitation . . . Coin Master?" she asks, every once in a while glancing at the coin.
She finds a tree opposite him, and sits down. Her bow is still ready, in case she needs it. She is just trying to seem as relaxed as he is presenting himself.
She tilts her head a little, and taps her tail with a gold claw, idly, as she waits for a reply.

He grins and stops the coin, flicking it in the air with his thumb and catching it on the way down. He makes his way towards her, almost strange how he moves. He takes the spot almost besider her on the ground and seats himself.
" Coin master hmm? so I do have a name? "
He tilts his hat to look up at her with a playful smile once again.
" An invitation can also mean an oppurtunity as well, but yes, I have been found ... wanting"
He smirks lightly and peers down at his hand again, where it toys with the grass between them.

Nyoka watches as he moves toward her, and blinks when she sees that he is next to her.
Shaking her head yet again to clear it, she looks at him from the corner of her eye. She shrugs at his question, and flashes a half smile. "It seemed appropriate at the time," she replies.
At the last few words, she turns her upper body to face him. "Really? And, what have you been wanting?" she asks.
