Despite his con man persona, he has a soft spot for Alice, and his intimate knowledge of the underworld of Wonderland could prove to be a valuable ally to Alice in her adventures there. History He used to sell human emotions like drugs, with the Dormouse in his services. He helps Alice in her misadventure through Wonderland. All the time, she refuses to trust him at any length; she even refuses to tell him her plans, even though they are on the same side. After Hatter is tortured by Mad March (the March Hare reimagined an assassin) and Dr.s Dee and Dum (Tweedle-Dee and Tweedle-Dum reimagined as sadists who pry information from prisoners) after trying to rescue her, Alice realizes that he truly is worthy of her trust. The two grow very close after Hatter helps Alice with her fear of heights, and eventually fall in love. Alice even turns down Jack, the man she had been trying to find all through the first episode, to be with Hatter, and he eventually goes into the human world to be with her. Personality
Zelgadis has impressive focus and determination, and in spite of his willingness to be a part of the Lina foursome, likes to think of himself as a lone wolf. Early on in the franchise he liked to try and give off a mysterious, strong-and-silent air, although it occasionally backfired with his friends simply not asking anything about him. He is usually the ultimate voice of reason in the group, if Amelia goes on one of her "justice" binges. He does, however, have a soft spot for the princess.
In battle, Zelgadis uses primarily the same magic as Amelia, as well as being a skilled swordsman. His unique body is also very resistant to harm, at least from other swords and physical weapons-- he is as susceptible to magic attacks as anyone, it seems.
History
Zelgadis is a descendent of Rezo the Red Priest, a blind sorceror known for doing good deeds-- Rezo is either his grandfather or great-grandfather. In his youth Zelgadis sought to become the most powerful being in the world, so to "help" him, Rezo turned him into a chimera: part human, part golem (rock monster), and part brau demon (similar to a dark elf/drow demon).
Zelgadis first meets Lina and company while on his search for the Philosopher's Stone, hoping that it will allow him to return to a normal human body. Ever since, he has been a regular member of Lina's party. After their long excursions defeating major evils, Zelgadis usually goes off alone to find the next thing that might help him become fully human again, only to happily rejoin Amelia or Lina as soon as he sees them.

Personality
Very much like her father in both appearance and personality, Amelia is obsessed with justice: if you tell her that something is just, she will rush forth and attempt to make it happen regardless of anything as inconvenient as an actual fact.She thinks of Lina as a hero a destructive hero, but nevertheless a hero and wants to be just like her and every other good hero that comes along. Amelia gets bored being royalty sometimes, she often follows her father Phil on journeys around the countryside. She often looks for trouble, simply so that she can right it. Whenever scouting out an area, she always includes a quick look for the highest place to stand.
Other than these occasional outbursts, however, Amelia serves as one of Lina and Gourry's more "normal" foils. She is especially troubled when Lina acts in a less-than-diplomatic manner while Amelia is acting as a Princess of Sailune.
History
The youngest daughter of Crown Prince Philionel of Saillune, Amelia has one elder sister Naga the Serpent, who ran away from home when their mother passed away. Personality
Sheldon also has common qualities associated with being a prodigy, such as the fact that he is an a**, social ineptness, and an inability to relate emotionally with others. He fails to understand not only the simplest sarcastic jokes made by his friends, but also regards Penny's sadness over her break up with blatant disgust. That isn't to say Sheldon doesn't have a conscience; he's simply more likely to do what's scientifically ethical (not donate to a "high IQ sperm bank" because his sperm won't guarantee high IQ offspring) rather than morally and socially ethical (break into Penny's home to organize her things). He also has symptoms of possible obsessive compulsive personality disorder and Asperger's syndrome. He cannot read body language, facial expressions or sarcasm. He is calculating and cynical. History
A theoretical physicist at Caltech who shares with Leonard the apartment 4A of their apartment building. Sheldon was born in Galveston, Texas to Mary, a devout Evangelical Christian and George Cooper, a Texan Homer Simpson. At age 12, he conducted experiments involving the height of stairs and deduced that if a step on a staircase is 2 millimeters off or more, a person is likely to trip. This resulted in his father breaking his clavicle. At the same age, he dabbled in lasers which resulted in him being sent to boarding school (most likely a boarding school for the specially gifted, or he went and actually taught at the boarding school, given his child prodigy); the government took Sheldon's laser away and hushed the college professor who witnessed the experiment. According to his mother, when Sheldon was 13, he attempted to build a nuclear reactor at a young age in order to provide free electricity for his town; that failed after a government agent informed him that, it was illegal to store yellowcake uranium in a shed; he then had a big tantrum as a result. She also reminded him of how the neighbour kids used to beat him up, due to him boasting to them how he was smarter than them. He also built a so-called "Death Ray" (which was unsuccessful) and a robotic arm made from substrates cooked in his sister's Easy-Bake Oven. Sheldon left school in the fifth grade and went to college, where he received his first doctorate at the age of 16. He then spent four years on his second dissertation, and held his current job for eight years.

The reason Penny is in the apartment building in the first place is because she split with her boyfriend of four years, Kurt, and was thrown out of their place. She lives across from Sheldon in apartment 4B. She also starts to become geekier the longer she knows the boys. She makes references to Star Trek, much to her own surprise, and plays Age of Conan.
Personality
Penny is not particularly intellectually gifted or savvy in a specific technical field, but she has great social skills and a lot of knowledge about pop culture. Penny is messy and disorganized but appears to like it that way. She also has full confidence in horoscopes and often has arguments with Sheldon and Leonard about their accuracy.
History
Penny is from Omaha, Nebraska. So far, the only member of Penny's family that has been seen is her father, Wyatt. Penny had a very close bond with him when she was a child, however, it is mentioned that it was a tomboy bond since he wanted another son instead of another daughter, so despite hating to get dirty, Penny tried to be good at sports. He used to call her 'slugger' until she bought her first training bra, and he just stopped calling her 'slugger' and didn't play catch with her anymore. Several other members have been mentioned too. Penny's sister is also mentioned, as having shot her husband, whilst both she and the husband were drunk. It is known that she has a nephew who turned 13 in the second season, and it's likely that he is the son of Penny's sister, as her sister is known to be married. When Christy comes into town, Penny reveals that she has a brother and at least one male cousin, as she claims that Christy slept with the former while being engaged to the latter.

Known as the "little brother" of the heroic or protagonistic Autobot faction and a mascot, constantly striving to prove himself in the eyes of the other robots - especially his leader, Optimus Prime.
