Ciro hurried down the path, barely feeling his feet touch the ground as he made his way towards his destination: a large clearing in the forest that held a small pond in it, and a couple of flat rocks, good for sunbathing or watching the night skys. He was on his way to to meet his Starfox, his Ambrose, and Ciro could hardly contain his excitement.
Tail high and waving excitedly, Ciro crested the last hill and caught sight of the clearing. Trying to stop himself from running in there like a fool, but failing miserably, Ciro entered the clearing and looked around for Ambrose. "Ambi! Starfox, are you here yet?" He called, bounding over to the rocks. He jumped on top of one to make himself more visible in case Ambrose wasn't here yet.

Ambrose was so nervous and excited. Hi was going to meet his ray of Sunshine, Ciro. Their first 'date'. They were to meet in the nearby forests clearing, he was told there was a small pond in the center. It sounded so romantic and Ambi was the romantic sort. He looked to the sky the sun has just starting to dip behind the tree tops. "Crap, Im gonna be Late!", he rushed around looking for his gift, he had found a rare rose that seemed orange in color. It made him think of Ciro and hoped he'd like it. He tucked it in his tail and held onto tightly so as to not loose it.
He bound toward the forest path and ran as fast as he could. He had to veer off the path to get to the clearing. He trotted through the forest trying to find the clearing. He had been walking for about 20min. and knew something wasn't right. He was beginning to think he went the wrong way. He stopped and tried to re-trace his steps when he heard the faint echo of Ciro's voice. He was close he had only been off by a bit...he was West when he should of been NW. He took off cutting though the trees, when he finally reached the clearing he burst through the trees panting hard and with a few twigs and leaves stuck here and there and his short (emo) hair very messy. "I'm sorry.....took...the...long way....here...ran...as fast....as i could....", he says still panting and then collapses to the ground with a weak smile looking up at Ciro.

Ciro watched, wide eyed as Ambrose burst into the clearing looking as if the hounds of hell had been chasing him. Upon the purple fox's colapse, Ciro launched himself off his rock and hurried to the other. Feeling only minutely better at the small smile his Starfox was giving him, Ciro looked him over. Judging the other fox to be winded, but fine, Ciro took a second look, amusement seeping into him at the twigs stuck in Ambrose's fur.
"Ambi, love, you didn't have to half kill yourself getting here." Ciro said, gently pulling twigs and leaves out of Ambrose's hair. "I may have been a little, worried that you weren't here, but I didn't want you to hurt yourself."
Ciro finished his task of getting rid of the sticks and leaves, and he leaned down on his front paws, putting himself on the same level as Ambrose and let his worry shine out of his golden eyes. "Are you okay? There's water over there if you're thirsty." He said, giving his Starfox a gentle lick.

Ambrose, shakily got to his feat, still panting a bit. "Oh, it was just a brisk jog is all", he said trying to play it off cool. He kissed Ciro on the cheek and went to get a long drink of water. "Ahh...there, all better. Oh sunshine, I got something for you., he said with a goofy smile as he reached back to his tail and pulled out the Orange rose, surprisingly unharmed. He laid it at Ciro's feet and gave him a deep kiss. He nuzzled against him and looked in his eyes, "It can't match your beauty, but I though it suited you, and made me think of you." He had a slight blush on his face hoping it made his Sunshine happy.

Ciro studied the other fox but, determining Ambrose to be fine, had a smile back on his face by the time his Starfox had finished his drink. Eyes falling to the rose that Ambi produced, Ciro blushed. "I-I...thank you, it's lovely!" He said happily, feeling extremely happy and slightly guilty in turns. He took the rose and tucked it into his fur to keep it safe before turning back and giving Ambrose a big kiss.
"I d-didn't get you anything. I'm sorry." Ciro apologized, but nudged Ambrose towards the flat rocks. "H-however, I do think you'll like my surprise." Ciro said, shifting a little selfconciously. "This place is wonderful for stargazing. We just have to wait for the sun to finish setting." He hopped onto a sun-warmed rock and lay down, scooching over to make enough room for Ambrose. The sky may not have been ready to see stars, but the slight smattering of clouds were catching the last rays of the sun and creating very pretty colors.

Ambrose blushed at the kiss glad he made his sun happy. "You need not get anything for me in return, that's why it's a gift not...an exchange my dear.", he said with a loving nudge before following Ciro to thee rock. As he jumped on the rock he looked to the sky. "It's beautiful as it is now, I'd much rather watch the sunset then stargaze. The sunset reminds me of you, and I could look at that, at you for a lifetime.", he gave a smile as he looked down on him, hovering over him. He leaned down and kissed him deeply then licked his cheek. Still standing over him he just smiled letting the joy beam from his ice blue eyes.

Ciro was quite glad he was already laying down as he was certain he was two seconds away from melting into a puddle of happy goo. He blushed so brightly his face nearly glowed and he quickly hid his blush by hiding his face in Ambrose's fur. "Y-you can't say t-those things to me, Ambrose. They're much too pretty." He said, his voice slightly muffled. And they were quickly short-circuiting his brain; all Ciro could think is that his Starfox smelt delightful. Ciro nuzzled up Ambi's neck until he reached his muzzle and gave him a kiss back. "Although I feel the same about the stars. They remind me so much of you, that watching them when you're not around has become my favorite pasttime."

Ambrose, smiled and chuckled a bit as Ciro buried his face in Ambrose's chest. He lightly kissed his head. "I speak what i feel, as do you. Right, love?" As Ciro nuzzled up his neck he got the chills a bit, but in a good way. When Ciro kissed him back he let himself go and melted into him, slumping onto Ciro completely. Ambrose smiled as he looked into Ciro's eyes, his own eyes sparkling as stars in love. "As I revel in watching the sunset when my Sunshine has gone.", he said as he kissed Ciro's nose.

"Yes, I always speak what I feel. I'm not much of a liar, nor much of a poet either." Ciro replied, smiling at his beautiful Starfox. "You're only going to get the short, simple truth." He shifted slightly to make sure they were both comfortable when Ambrose moved into him. He nuzzled Ambrose's cheek in affection before looking back at the sky.
"Unfortunately we seemed to have missed this particular sunset. You'll watch more with me though, right?" he asked teasingly, half certain he knew the answer. He turned back to his Starfox, the dots in the sky not nearly as beautiful as the star at his side.
