So... is there anyone here who is down with Tsubasa yaoi? It didn't seem like it in the original thread, but now that I can sustain a topic, I'll inquire. There's a fanbase for it over at fanfiction.net, so I thought perhaps one existed here. Also, it's very rare for a CLAMP series NOT to have a yaoi/yuri fanbase... they are famous for incorporating (sometimes extreme) deviant sexualities into their stories. Just look at Cardcaptor Sakura! eek
Personally, I am head over heels for KuroganexFai, and of course, my homely and comfortable canon couple from CCS, TouyaxYukito. blaugh I hope to see more of them! heart
Don't get me wrong, I ADORE SyaoranxSakura, so cute! I am a fan of many types of pairings.

As far as Yaoi goes in Tsubasa, I learn towards TouyaxYukito since they are such a classic couple in ccs as well. They still have a special friendship, possibly a very strong one in Tsubasa. It's sweet. :3

Fai and Kurogane would make an intersting paring... I like TouyaxYukito. But FaixKurogane would be very interesting to see... they'd always be fighting or something. There personalities are so different, they almost have nothing in common.

I'm a big fan of KuroxFai. Its just so cute how their opposites attract. Also they seem so couplely with the white=Fai and black=Kuro.

eve though Fai and Kuro-pipi seem like polar oposites, I think they really like each other, and that Kurogane actually enjoys the nicknames, even though he gets really mad at Fai. whee

Yaoi with CLAMP is everywhere! You think CCS has a lot, just look at their manga Wish. None of the angels have genders so they're all referred to as "he" and other male pronouns. Tokyopop used "she" for Kohaku and Hisui because I guess they didn't want readers to freak out with all the yaoi, but I'm all for keeping it as the original. 3nodding
For Tsubasa yaoi? ....... Hm..... I'm leaning toward Touya X Yukito...

I would have to say that the only couple I'd support in Tsubasa is Yukito x Touya. Other then those two, I really can't stand Yaoi!

Has anyone else noticed how Touya and Kuro-tan's personalities are similar? And how Fai and Yuki's personalities and looks are almost exactly alike? I thought it was CLAMP's way of bringing a bit more of the original CCS to TRC.

Fighting pairings are often very popular in yaoi and het alike, like Zelgadis/Xellos (Slayers), Zoro/Sanji (One Piece), Kagome/Inuyasha (IY), and even harking back to Vejiita/Buruma (DBZ). Characters with seemingly nothing in common on the surface discover very deep-running similarities at the heart of things, and I think the mere fact that Kuro and Fai are amiable (if not snarky) companions brings that fact to light already. Characters who are different and also the same make for very interesting pairings. Even if it may be only fan speculation, I get a lot of enjoyment out of the possibilities. 3nodding
