It was a strange sight for others to see, at least if they saw two tall men, one with blonde hair and the other with dark hair down to their shoulders.
"No, weapons shop first, then clothing. Anya sent us to pick her new set of throwing knives and she'll be cross if we don't get them before the shop closes for the day," argued Louie.
"Ivy will tan our hides if we keep Eve out past the time for supper. we're also sent to get Eve some bigger clothing for if she grows," Romero countered.
Said little girl was busy trying to pull the handle of the harness that Romero had put her in out of said vampire's hand. A child leash, they called it. Eve herself was considering taking some of her mother's weapons and destroying. They were in front of an art supply store, just a few feet from it and she couldn't reach it because of the leash.
Eve stopped pulling and reached back, knowing it clipped in place at her back. She frowned as she found the clipped together part and smiled while she felt the leash loosen around her. She looked at her grandfather and uncle before taking the leash off and putting it on the dolly she had with her.
Afterward, she ran away from the two men, wanting to explore and possibly check out art supplies.

Milo stoof in the art store, a couple of canvases tucked under his arm as he inspected the acrylics. Oh, he'd SO show his father! Stupid old man, saying that "painting was hard". Psh, he'd show him. He didn't need any stupid lessons. He could do just fine on his own.
His mental tirade was interrupted as a little stitched-together girl ran into the art shop. At least he thought it was a girl. Then again, this was Gaia, so who could honestly tell. "Hey, pipsqueak. Shouldn't someone your size still be with the adults?" he called out to the little red head. Not that he cared; he just wanted someone to irritate and the child had ran in oh-so conveniently.

Eve had been looking forward to seeing what the new sketch books looked like, but looked at him with a raised eyebrow. Not bugged by his comment, "I just escaped the leash they tried to put on me."
She looked at the canvas he was holding, "What paint are you planning on using? You've got canvas made for oil paint and you're looking at acylic."
She picked up one of the sketchbooks, very calm and not irriated.
