Atleast no one got a pie in the face...yet...Wish Beyblade wasn't put off this week for the 1 hour premier though.
Kruger looks more like some sorta lizard/canine hybrid now with blue.... scales? I really don't like the whole A Team/B Team bit either. Heh after Power Rangers SPD, this episode of W.I.T.C.H. is looking pretty good right now. eek

Ish, I wanna view the origianl DekaRanger series before making the judge on the...errr....Americanized version of it...(which, probably will be never >< wink .
W.I.T.C.H....I keep either sleeping late or I forget what time that dang show airs eek
Well, at least that one looks better then that bright 'Totally Spies' animation....
Though, I'm looking forward to viewing that Avatar animation, if it ever appears

I swear if I bothered counting the number of actual punches/kicks landed by the rangers in human form could've been counted on one hand....Way too much needless jumping around for my tastes. Kinda reminds me of an old American movie called West Side Story...

I come from the view of watching both dekaranger and SPD. And, I think SPD did do a few good things. Compared to the previous seasons of PR, disney has done a much better job managing them than Saban ever did, although none really stand up that well against Japanese counterparts. Although I don't exactly like the American Kruger as much as the Japanese Kruger, I have to give props to Disney and the Henson team (which they own), for actually making a mouth that works perfectly with every syllable being spoken. Only complaints really on the american design are, the dreads in the back, and the fact that the head is waaay too big compared to the rest of the body.
In terms of PR, I think that SPD might shape up to be another good season, compared to Dekaranger though, we'll just have to wait and see. Though I'm surprised they managed for the american version to have someone out do Hoji in terms of sheer arrogance, sky is almost a jerk. The whole civilian powers thing could've been done without, but in a way it gives a nice throw back to those of use who like X-Men, but I'm getting off topic with that.
I had more to say, but my mind is drawing a blank right now, so I'll just post more later, just note these are my views, I'm not forcing any of you to agree with them.

I'll admit it's not the worst Power Rangers ever made(well so far anyways) but it's far from the best in my opinion. I may give it another week if I happen to catch it. Not exactly planning to set my VCR or anything though. Wonder if they'll somehow revive Tommy yet again...

I'd give SPD more than one week, cause it seems the next episode is going to be more one where the Red Ranger starts out not so serious about the whole idea, but by the end he does get the idea kind of thing. Usually, for a PR season, I give about 5 or so epsiodes to pass before making an initial judgement. (IMO only good PR seasons before Disney were Space and TimeForce)

Yah many of us like those two series...I perfer Time Force & Wild Force myself with Lightspeed Rescue as an easy 3rd. I don't know if I can sit through 5 more episodes of SPD. I didn't watch that many Ninja Storm eps despite my liking of the show's soundtrack(hardest rock fight songs ever in a PR series).

My favorites so far have been all the seasons of Mighty Morphin, as well as in Space, and Dino Thunder. Something about Lost Galaxy really turned me off, so I didn't watch much between that and Dino Thunder. I did tune in from time to time, but didn't like what I saw.
I saw the first episode of SPD, although I missed the ending because I fell asleep. blaugh I guess that says something about how much I liked it. I did notice that the Blue Ranger mentioned that his father was a ranger. Do we know who his father was? I really can't stand him. He's such a jackass, and something about the way he looks just annoys me. Actually, all these new rangers annoy me. I guess Red Ranger is the most bearable.

Well after weeks one & two I think I'm going to give up on this series. Maybe I'll try watching choice episodes when the series is added to that best of Power Rangers show but for now I think I'll sit this one out.
