Battle:
Every player character gets 100 HP to start with, and rolls one 100-sided die per turn if they're able. See every other arc ever if you need to figure out how this works.
Will Rolls:
This arc is going to have a LOT of will rolls, as opposed to battling. Every 'place' that traps the mind will require a different will roll. When the area where the mindtrap is triggered approaches, I will tell the group what roll is required to get out. Please only roll at story-appropriate times, and remember that you CAN be helped by other people - and you don't always get to choose who you're helped by. I will cheat once to make sure that we won't stagnate. So deal.
Please keep in mind that the shapeshifters, if engaged in battle, are capable of creating illusions and mindtraps mid-battle. Simple illusions give the target(s) a -5 to their roll. For a more complex illusion, which can only be directed at one person per turn, the targeted person will lose a turn and receive a -7 penalty to the next roll. If Frida is targeted, she can only heal for 10 upon failure.
Items and Weapons:
Frida's Staff - Allows Frida to heal an ally mid-battle for 20HP. Without it, she can only heal out of battle.
Suzy's Spork - Without it, Suzy gets a -5 to every roll in battle.
Kaokie's Rapier - Without it, Kaokie gets a -5 to every roll in battle.
Eli's Pistol - Without it, Eli gets a -5 to every roll in battle.
Clothing - Preserves modesty.
Keys - Opens doors.
Medical Kits - Heals for 20HP each. Requires one turn, mid-battle.

Eli was the first to waken from his magic stupor. He bolted upright, and felt his body. What had been missing was still missing; what had been there, was still there. He still had two kidneys, which was good. His hand went for Frida next, and he was alarmed to find her nowhere near. He kicked fluffy white sheets away from him, falling out of the bed he had woken in. The floor hurt, but only enough to make him wince as he stood. He was still in his clothes, thankfully, and wouldn't have to try and find those in the alien room around him.
He pushed out the door of the house, and was surprised by a sunset. He paused, stunned by a landscape he'd never seen before.
It was a beach, with a few people, maybe five or six of them scattered around. It looked to be an isolated place of some sort, surrounded by thick forest all around, and a dozen huts all around the area. After taking all this in, Eli had to come back to himself, and once more set off to find his wife. Hopefully she was around.

The sorcerer was second to awake, quick to stand and even quicker to open the door. Trained senses sought out his wife, but found something else.
Everything around him was illusion. Well-crafted illusion, but illusion nonetheless.
But there was still the matter of Emma.

Eli started by kicking open doors. The first cabin held a peacefully sleeping woman, with long white-blond hair. Not the one Eli was looking for. He went to the next house, finding it empty.
Fortunately, the third held Frida, halting any further property damage. He sat on the bed beside her, picking up her hand to keep his own from shaking. She woke, her eye fluttering sleepily.
"Eli?"

There was a large part of the Lord of Bainbridge that wanted nothing more than to kick down a few doors. He settled, however, for following Emma's energy signature to the proper room and melting the lock off.
The elf-woman was sound asleep, chestnut hair falling in waves over her face. The mere act of brushing it out of her eyes woke her. She sat bolt upright, grabbing for her husband's hand instinctively.
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine. The child?"
The enchantress started at the question, closing her eyes and looking inward for a split second. "She's fine."
He helped her up, and both emerged back onto the beach, looking around for anybody they knew.

"You going to wake up?"
"Hush. You like to wake up early."
"And you have got to see where we are."
"It'll still be there in fifteen minutes." Frida rolled on her side, telling Eli that that was that.
"... There's a beach."
Frida cracked her eye open, and with an exaggerated sigh, got up. "So we got assaulted by Hrothbert the Cat, and now we're at a beach?"
"It's weird, but I won't question it."
Both were pleasantly surprised to see the nobles on the beach. Eli was holding Frida closer than he would normally, but Frida was more relaxed than ever.
"Emma!" she called to the enchantress.

Emma waved back, running towards the cyclops before her husband could fill her in on the nature of the place.
"Didn't expect to see you here." she said with a small smile, looking out towards the horizon, shading her eyes from the sun with one hand.
Hrothbert sighed, adjusting his cufflinks and making his way towards the other couple.

"I didn't either," Frida remarked brightly, not giving much thought to what had occurred earlier that day. Something just made her want to forget it and have a good time. "Isn't it pretty here?"

Safe in the knowledge that his wife was alright for now, the sorcerer turned his attentions to seeking out Remus and Kaok.

Okay. Okay. We all got portal'd away by the SHAPESHIFTERS who will be met later. Probably. There are complex illusions in place all around, and this is one of them. Your mind is trapped here. Like a group dream, ya? Erm... I think that explains it well enough. ]

The Imperator opened his eyes. He seemed to have froze up back when Hrothbert appeared to be a cat. Things happened so randomly, he didn't really know what to do. He stared up at the sky, lying in the sand.
"A beach?How did I get here?" he thought aloud, listening to the waves.

She woke up, in a bed in a cabin, thoroughly confused. "Remus? Emma?" No one else was in there. Well, that wasn't terrifying in the least. Being taken away to distant dimensions was commonplace by now, but still worrying. She made for the door and found the outside to be idyllic. For a moment she really wanted to just enjoy it, but then the little voice in the back of her head that she had come to recognize as one 'of reason' reminded her that she didn't know where anyone still was. And that was a problem.
