Azar was finally feeling better after the cubs that she had recently. They were getting older and one thing was for sure she was ready to take on anything that the world had to throw at her. Well almost ready she wanted to get back into shape before she was going to do anything else. She flicked her tail around behind her before stretching her paws and stepping forward into the area where the duel had been planned to be. she was ready for this. She loved duels and she was glad to finally be able to get her paws ready to get fighting.
She wasn't that sure who she was fighting again but she was more then ready to go. She was confident in herself. She grinned ear to ear before wiggling around her toes into the ground. The large lioness stepped forward ready to start fighting. She felt like she hadn't fought anyone in a while. She was hoping for the best of luck with whoever it was to be.

 She was pacing back and forth, frustrated, her fur bristled and her eyes cast out towards the horizon. Always on the horizon, on the point where her sister had faded from sight. To look there caused her much pain and hatred and...and such indescribable feelings. Yet...she could not look away.
Only the sound of approaching paw finally drew her attention and she glanced over her shoulder at the other female through listless eyes. She seemed, by her posture and demeanour, that she was sleep-walking, her sluggish and erratic motions and sleep-heavy features odd in a Firekin.
But Naar was a little...odd.
Even still, she recognised when she was being challenged and lifted her head a little, an ear cocked with partial interest. "Who're you?" She asked, though her tone of voice suggested she didn't much care for the answer. "You want to fight me?"

Azar watched the other lioness carefully. She wasn't exactly that sure of the other lioness's movement. She had never seen anyone like that move in that fashion. She arched a brow before she started to move forward a little more then nodded. "I am Azar." she said simply as she nodded toward the lioness. "What is your name."
Then then nodded once more leaning back down on the ground she crept around the female then chuckled slightly. "Yes I do." She growled before moving forward quickly extending a paw out then slapping her side with it a serious look was on her face she was in fighting mode.

"Azar." The female responded, her eyes darting nervously about her. She seemed hesitant at replying to the question or maybe it was just that she was gathering her thoughts.
"I'm Naar." She replied, not her full name, but who cared about that? No one. Especially not her. She turned to face the other, suddenly seeming to understand what a fight was and what would be expected of her.
A slow, odd smile crept along her face, but it was swept away as Azar's extended paw connected with her side. She hissed like a wild thing and leapt to the side, smarting from the strike. And, as she leapt to evade, her own forepaw lashed out, intending to catch the other female across the flank as she pirouetted out of reach.

Azar was pretty caught off guard by the hit of the lioness. She backed off a bit, taking a moment to rethink what she was going to do. This lioness was a little more serious then she thought she would be. a smirk quickly grew on Azar's face. She knew that she wanted to make this lioness remember her.
She circled the other lioness a grin on her face as she moved closer to the lioness growling and snarling swiping her paw out a few times making sure not to hit her as if she was teasing the lioness trying to see if she could get the lioness to start going.

Oh, what fun~! Naar-ehuka, fighting! Who would have thought it? She'd never really trained to fight - not past the basic training all Firekin were given, in any case, and this female before her certainly looked like a mean fighter! In any case, Naar was finding some odd sort of delight in this, a part of her waking to a new sensation.
She hissed in response to Azar's teasing jibes and lowered her body a little, shifting her hind-quarters so that she could follow the dark female's motions with her eyes.
Hey, this wasn't much different from hunting, really!
Well...actually, hunting was a lot different, and no doubt, Naar would soon find out that...probably the hard way, too.

When the other female didn't attack back Azar found her chance to attack. She growled taking in what the female was doing before taking advantage and leaping forward, bounding quickly she made it seem as if she was going to go in one way but then ended up going the other way.
She growled slightly then she slammed herself into the other lioness, a growl escaping her throat as she did, she always enjoyed dueling, it was her favorite thing to do. She felt like she has a good opponent too which was alawys nice when you were dueling.

Azar's successful attack knocked Naar reeling onto her hind legs, her lighter chest pressed against Azar's darker pelt. She felt a snarl bubble up in her throat and for a moment she forgot this was supposed to be a friendly duel.
The claws on her hind paws dug into the sand, slowing her rocking motion and, with a loud snarl, she shoved forwards with her weight. In the same motion she lowered her head, hooking it across Azar's neck as she attempted to tip the other female sideways. The muscles in her neck bunched from the effort but it seemed she was putting all her effort into the act.

Azar held her ground for a moment that was until she could feel the other lioness press her weight against hers. She snarled stumbling backwards and landing on her haunches. Her eys narrowed for a moment that hurt, she was snapping out of the idea of a friendly duel too. She growled again and then launched forward once more.
She swiped out her paw attemping to slap the other female's shoulder with her claws extended out.

Naar staggered backwards in surprise when the attack came, the sting of those claws and the force of that paw enough to have her make a hasty retreat. She blinked fiercely, eyeing the other female with a slightly canted head.
"Fast." She returned the attack with a word, and, with a smirk, made to attack her again. However, this time she wasn't quite ready to counter it, and, in her haste, she tripped on the uneven sands and sent herself sprawling forwards on her face.
Panic ceased her and she struggled to stand the moment her mistake was made.

Azar was proud of her first attack she was feeling pretty good about this attack she was feeling a little more proud of herself but now she watched as her opponent went to strike her back. Azar prepared herself as she always did. She didn't want to get caught off guard.
Although because of the her opponent was acting before she was very much preparing herself for a iron paw crashing down on her but as the other lioness stumbled it really threw her off too. She paused the lioness's stumble threw her off and made her stumble too she tumbled over landing next to the lioness and broke out into laughter.

Naar-ehuka could not help herself, she burst into laughter too. Slightly hysterical laughter, actually, which dragged on for perhaps a tad too long. Realising their duel had more than likely come to an end, she gathered her paws beneath her, leapt back onto them and gave a deep bow to her duellist.
After all, laughter was not a good weapon in the duelling ring.
"We fight well. I like you. We shall be friends." She righted her head, glanced about her as if trying to remember what she had been doing beforehand and then, with a small snort, trotted away as if nothing had even passed between them. The only sign of their scuffle, the disturbed sand from their paws. The sand never did sit still for very long in the desert, particularly in the Motoujamii-Simo.

Azar stood proudly for a moment, she had won and this made her proud she thought this was very amazing and she still had it in her to be able to do all of this. She still really had this in her and she was so excited, she puffed out her chest as she looked at the female he thoughts were interupted and she paused looking at the lioness before letting out a laugh herself, she was glad to see the lioness happy, Azar had one and this other lioness seemed perfectly fine with this and Azar was happy with that idea. She paused as the lioness began to tell her they'd be friends. "I'm fine with that." she chuckled quietly. She watched the lioness wander away and with another chuckle she turned around and began to wander back to her home herself.
