Personality:
Yokozuki is said to be the craziest among the captains, having an unnatural love of carnage. Yokozuki was a son to the lesser noble family Nekkyo, royals of Soul society. Yokozuki was surpassed by his two older brothers, Izumi Nekkyo and Takashi Nekkyo, Takashi being the oldest. Yokozuki cared little for such trivial things though and never cared about receiving the title of lord of the house.
It was when his older brothers and father was killed that Yokozuki was faced at taking up the title of lord, he turned this down however and chose exile from his house, claiming he had no desire for such responsibilities. Choosing exile like this gave him no opportunity to come back to this noble house. Through law it was necessary for him to change his last name, though as of yet Yokozuki feels no need to do such as Nekkyo is no longer a name worth mentioning among the noble class.
Yokozuki is a relatively violent person, though not shown outwardly, he has more of a quiet sadistic twist. Yokozuki, at a young age, took great pleasure in watching another living thing die at his feet yet not in any way sullying his own hands. Yokozuki was the first of any noble house to have been arrested by the Gotei thirteen and actually placed on trial before the grand court of the central-46. To date he is the only person in Soul Society that has committed heinous acts and gotten away free as a bird, as some would say.
Though cruel in nature, Yokozuki is a genius, he was once offered a position among the Bureau of technologies but he refused for reasons unknown, though this was a shock for the type of position offered suited his personality. Yokozuki remained wild and dangerous even after being accepted into the Gotei 13 himself, soon after making captain through deceitful means.
In his more elder age Yokozuki had become far more calm yet more ill tempered. Seeming to be changed but he now is wild in a different way, being more quiet and lurking among the shadows. To date, his is responsible for more then 1000 disappearances of people in Rukongai, though no evidence has ever been able to prove such a idea of thought to actually be true nor been enough to have ever convict him of any wrong.
Bio:
Yokozuki was born into the Noble house Nekkyo, a lesser royal family of Soul Society. He was the third son to the lord Yakashi Nekkyo. Yokozuki had two older brothers, Izumi and Takashi. Takashi was the oldest and therefore was next in line to receive the crown. His older brothers were kind gentle and free spirited, often they tried to help evolve their little brother, though their attempts it seemed were in vain. For the first five years of his life Yokozuki had actually grown quite close to his eldest brother Takashi, classed him as his hero and idol, though as time grew so to it seemed the gap between them.
When Yokozuki was 16 and his eldest brother 20 fights waged constantly about Yokozuki's behavior. At this age Yokozuki had already killed several people within Rukongai and had made a large mess and scandal for his family, events which he seemed to not care at all about. Yokozuki had caused his family disgrace time and time again because of his outwardly disgracefulness and his violent personality. Though his family tried and tried to cover up their sons wild acts it could only go so far, and soon they became a laughing symbol among the noble families.
Yokozuki at the age of 19 was arrested by the gotei thirteen for acts against the law and for the murders of several different people within Rukongai, his time in court and in trouble was short lived thanks to his family who had saved him from the judgment of the Central-46. Yokozuki, even after the trouble he went through, only grew more wild and dangerous, which caused the Nekkyo family to be unrecognized by the nobles any longer, thus a once proud house who had a reputation among the other houses was crashed down and became forgotten like many others.
During his coming of age at 21 Yokozuki had played a destructive prank on another higher noble family, this sent things into motion against the Nekkyo, and at a crucial time. It was now that Takashi was going to be given the title of head of the Nekkyo family and his father was planning a retirement, though, this thought was but a fleeting illusion because of the pressing war. Even though the battle ended in the attacking houses defeat, Yokozuki's father and two older brothers were killed and Nekkyo house had no choice but to make Yokozuki the head, though he refused and chose Exile, his mother was forced to take the lead.
Now among commoners of Rukongai, Yokozuki had lived for many years, now at the age of 49, it seemed as if he had suppressed his wild personality, though, it he now comes across even more sadistic and evil then before because of the odd way he acts. Yokozuki now comes across as a shadowy figure that lurks in the darkness to strict his victim, he has made many enemies, but among them not one has even ventured to try and strict against him. It's unknown why he changed, but it only seems now that it has gotten worse.
During the age of 51 he was recruited to be in the Gotei thirteen. He passed the academy with flying colors, seeming to have exceptional skills in all fields, having had much practice all his life. He was at first an unseated officer in squad 10 but was soon given 5th seat rank in squad five. Soon after Yokozuki vanished without a trace, for more then 40 years he had been gone. Yokozuki came out of hiding 30 years later. He is now the Captain of squad three.

Sealed Form Appearance:
A almost pure white Katana. Sheath and all.
His sealed form is quite ordinary. It has a white grip, a three separated triangle guard and long black sheath, with the blade being ordinary steel.

Shikai Triggered by the command "Kirameki" ('glimmer' きらめき 'Sthaana') Upon the release, Tankesshouyoku's blade shimmers with a radiant glimmer similar to what a crystal looks like when held to a bright light. The blade now appears like a rare gem. The sword in whole does not take any changes, besides the blade alone.
Shikai Abilities
Tankesshouyoku has the ability to create blades at will using light. The blades that Tankesshouyoku creates aren't actually physical blades but a immense amount of light manifested together to create a solid object that can pierce and kill far greater then a normal blade. Each blade created looks identical to his original blade in it's Shikai state. His shikai also gives him a small ability to control light around him mentally, though this power is not classed as a direct ability with his sword.
--°Fukushasen('ふくしゃせん' 'Kabonii Jilaam Avaa'Radiant Rays)
Yokozuki waves his blade in a horizontal fashion which disperses his blade into four equally sized spikes that are shimmering the same as his normal blade. The spikes strike the ground, parallel with each other, and then they multiply themselves around Yokozuki until he is completely surrounded. Once this happens the blades send out a ultra violet light that no one else can see, the light connects each spike with each other, and after they are connected a barrier is erected around Yokozuki, quite strong and quite impossible to easily be broken.
--° Kesshouarashi('けっしょうあらし' 'A Vikaari Kabonii'Crystal storm)
The ability to shatter the blade of his Zanapkutou creating tiny shards that hover above around himself that are used to attack at a violently fast rate. Each shard is only less then a millimeter wide and less then a millimeter long. Each shard retains the glimmer of the original full blade. When sent out the shards move slowly at first but in only a few short seconds reach their target in a blink of an eye, no matter the distance of the target. When the blade lands it creates a massive explosion, indicating that there is an immense amount of force behind the attack. When the shard hits its target (Or not) the moment it does it sends out a blast of light that can blind one and disable them for a few moments, enough time for another attack. After the shard attacks it returns and goes back onto the blade slowly reforming it.
--° Hanawazenmetsu('はなわぜんめつ' 'A Vikaari Bhrum' Wreath Annihilation)
Yokozuki will move his sword in a complete circular motion in front of him, this creates a large circle of light. Yokozuki does not call out the name of the attack until he has created the circle. Once he calls out ('Hanawazenmetsu') clusters of blades begin springing out of the circle all over, taking the appearance of a wreath; these blades are all different shapes and sizes. After the circle of light has been covered completely by the blades he brings his sword above him with his right hand and flashes it down vertically, the shards begin glowing white and sparkling then in a moment streams of blades are flying at the opponent at great speeds. The blades let off a bright light, creating a blinding effect as they near the target; the smaller the blade the less light it can create. The blades flow does not stop until Yokozuki deems it so. The blades can penetrate most defenses fairly easily. Yokozuki will overwhelm his opponent with this attack.
-- ° Nijuushin('にじゅうしん' 'Trahk Pis Praa' Doppelganger)
This attack is gives Yokozuki the ability to create an exact copy of himself bending light. A large chunk of bladed light will appear next to Yokozuki and give off a harsh shine. After a few moments another Yokozuki will take the place of that blade. This copy is 100% exactly like Yokozuki, though there are some noticeable differences. Even though his copy is in a shikai sate it cannot use any of Yokozuki's shikai abilities, only the basic abilities Yokozuki could use after he simply released his shikai (Which are limited). This copy has a will of it's own and therefor can act on it's own though it will always listen to whatever commands Yokozuki gives.

Bankai
Triggered by the command"Kirameki,Tankesshouyoku Kyouran" ('きらめきたんけっしょうよくきょうらん' 'Trahk Jilaam Praa'dii' glimmer, single crystal blade display' ) Upon the release, the blade dissipates into a fine dust that surrounds Yokozuki creating a cocoon type enclosure that is purely made of light and blinding to the eye. The wrap is broken as the transformation is completed. Yokozuki now bares two gigantic wings made purely out of blades constructed of light. As they do appear to be metal gray wings they give off the normal shimmer as in his shikai; he can use these wings at will to cover his entire body and almost half the sky against extremely strong attacks. Along with this he now posses a large tale made the same as his wings, a giant sold ring appearing at tips end. A much longer slender blade appears also, it has not handle or guard but is only a giant piece of bladed light; he does not physically hold this blade but rather it hovers about his left hand and he can send it to far distances to attack opponents controlling it by invisible strings of light. Yokozuki also posses a large soft light blue scarf the extends far beyond his body, it posses to long ends which bare two pure crystal rings. In his bankai stage Yokozuki is in full control of anything light based, be it natural or even another shinigami's powers.
Bankai Abilities
In his Bankai sate Yokozuki now has complete control over anything that light touches. Be it a blade or even a window; even the smallest object that reflects light he can use it. Yokozuki is able to bend light to make it manifest it's self, be it solid beams of light to attack his opponent or even massive shields. His Bankai is far more superior to his Shikai whereas there his control on light is very limited.
--° Kesshouhaka('けっしょうはか' 'Kabonii Jilaam Pratii'vaa' Crystal Tomb)
The ability to create a sealed box of light around a enemy and destroy them. To initiate this attack Yokozuki allows his wings to spread fully, only then can the attack commence. Yokozuki will call out the abilities name and after doing so four large pieces of blade will appear coming out of each wing (Two out of either wing) these blades will burst from his wings and fly towards the opponent and strike the ground in a perfect square shape and after doing so the blades will glow immensely, a light so bright it puts the opponent in a state of shock where he/she cannot react and get out of the way. By the time Yokozuki's opponent came regain their senses they find themselves enclosed in a large three dimensional box whose walls are made of pure light, see through. The blades that had stricken the ground fade and after this happens long thin but wide blades begin piercing out of every wall and striking the wall opposite to it; these many blades strike simultaneously which proves to be extremely hard for one to dodge as it is not know exactly where the blade will pierce out of the wall, it is impossible to figure out the location; these blades taking approximately 0.2 seconds to pierce out of the first wall and into the next, this makes it virtually impossible for someone with a battered sense to be able to react in enough time to dodge. Eventually however dodging becomes irrelevant as so many blades appear that there is no more room to evade and eventually the person inside the box will be pierced repeatedly. After the box is filled and no blades can longer appear the box will begin to glow brightly then left off a devastating explosion that Yokozuki himself can determine how powerful; usually he wont use this attack if he is angry as the result will end with half of rukongai being obliterated.
--° Kesshounijuushin('けっしょうにじゅうしん' 'Dha Vikaari Jula 'Crystal Doppelganger)
The ability to create multiple clones of himself. Similar to his ability nijuushin in his Shikai, Kesshounijuushin is a far more advance version. Yokozuki's bladed wings will shatter into a countless amount of shards, small and thin. They will begin to combine together until ten large blades are left surrounding him in the air. As Yokozuki calls out the name of the ability the blades will morph and there will be ten Yokozuki's, exact copies, around him. These copies will be in Yokozuki's shikai state and now unlike his similar shikai ability the copies will now be able to use Yokozuki's shikai abilities to the fullest. Each clone is created by light and therefor their weakness is to be completed cut off from it, not even the faintest glow can be around, only then can they be destroyed by weakness means, they can be destroyed by means of overpowering them ect. If Yokozuki is injured a clone will manifest into light and combine its self with Yokozuki instantly healing him, once a clone is gone he cannot create another until all clones have vanished.
--° Awaikaitei ('あわいかいてい'Bhrum Pis Pratii' Light Step')
The ability to move faster then the speed of sound and light. This ability is quite basic yet powerful. Awaikaitei allows Yokozuki to move far faster then any master Shunpo user, in fact, Yokozuki could travel easily 50 times faster then the most powerful of Shunpo. As Yokozuki uses this ability a stream of light is left behind where he moves. Yokozuki can't use this ability as an offensive maneuver.
--° Giruvegan ('Dha Vikaari Trahk' Great Crystal Enclosure) The single most powerful defensive ability Yokozuki possesses and also the only move not included in his shinigami profile nor seen by any other in soul society. Yokozuki's bankai forum vanishes in an array of light and reforms into a single small blade almost the size of a dagger. This new sword is not of any Katana, it bares a golden handle with intricate golden leaves on a vine reaching up the entire grip. The guard is a half moon shape that is also gold and bares strange writing all over. The blade also possesses this strange writing that curves up in a vine shape up the blade. As Yokozuki engages this attack the writing on the blade and the leaves shine brightly. Three cuts are made in the air in a circle which does not vanish but hovers for a moment before plummeting to the ground. As the circular shape hits the ground it expands and transforms into a complete and perfect circle. Yokozuki can mentally decide how big he wants the circle to go, it can be of any size. When the circle stops expanding a great wall of light will explode from the ground and cover in everything that is in its area. Once the enclosure has been completed a small spiked jewel can be seen high in the air in the middle of the barrier. Yokozuki will pierce the jewel with his new sword and allow it to begin draining him of his energy (Spiritual and Physical) in order to sustain the barrier he must give the jewel constant energy. This barrier is capable of stopping any and all type of attacks, though since it does take a great deal of physical strain to keep it up it can't possibly last very long. The longest Yokozuki could possibly sustain this is a little over an hour.

Master Swordsmanship Specialist: Yokozuki is masterful at swordsmanship, capable of flawless precision and lethal attacks without much effort.
Shunpo (瞬歩, Flash steps) Yokozuki excels in this technique but is by no means a master.
Kidō Master: Yokozuki is very knowledgeable in the way of kido. As the Archival captain he has studied this particular ability and trained himself to be a flawless user.
Master Tactician: Yokozuki is a highly perceptive fighter, being able to almost immediately determine an opponent's attack patterns and weaknesses. Though quiet in first outwardly appearance, Yokozuki is very perceptive and is rarely caught off guard by his opponent.
Enhanced Durability: While not having the most imposing appearance compared to other Shinigami captains, Yokozuki has shown to be a very resilient fighter.
Immense Spiritual Energy: He is capable of exerting vast Spiritual Pressure.
Air Walk: Yokozuki, like most captains, is well adept in this ability and can sustain air time for extremely long periods of time.
Secialized controlled Reiatsu Yokozuki is able to use his light based Reiatsu to bend light into physical objects that he attacks his opponents with. Often he uses this instead of releasing his Zanpakutou.
