It was bright and early in the morning, the sun had not even risen and the whole world was chilly in the grip of night. Each step he took had his pants leg wetted by the dew that hung onto the blades of grass but Luinnell never bothered with that since clothing could all be replaced after all. Though his breath left puffs of white clouds before him he wore little clothing at all, his tail swung behind him lifting a bit as a banner might be waved from it as in every pace of his steps it wagged. Really he was excited, he had managed to track someone who could help lead him into the forests, he was hoping to find new animals and plants maybe ne he could use to help cure an itch from the blue grass the sprung red leaves and no sooner did you touch it you started to itch horridly.
On his side he had his snake handled dagger that he loved with his whole being, he had some vials of things to help numb people from pain and a one that would poison. In his bag were various things for odd needs but on his back were a net, small fishing pole, and a few glass jars tied on either of his side so as not to swing and break. The glass was expensive so he rather not wastes them by something as silly as one of them striking a tree. Now the sounds of owls were dying, their voices drifting off as they searched for a place to rest and sleep as the sun was soon to push the moon away as it greedily took the sky. Looking around ears perked forward, Luinnell searched the small clearing for the person he was to meet.
His red eyes did not see the people who looked at his fur and looked away mumbling to themselves. Despite his odd coloring Luinnell never thought himself odd, only the others were odd for having such odd dull colors. After all, the brightly colored animals lived the longest for they were poison and Luinnell’s blood was indeed that. It his aunts doing, when he was young he was give poison bit by bit to make sure he could not be poisoned by his own line of work.

A yawn came from the older mans mouth as he sat beside their meeting spot. There was a smaller sack of items sitting beside him there, sense his code was to only bring what was needed. The boy was bringing all the food supplies, and though he brought his own water, he trusted this Luinnel to bring the food. Besides he was a doctor right? If Naz could help it, he'd be taking most of the food from this forest they were going, so that they could save supplies.
The things he'd be protecting the young boy from were a much different game then protecting him from other humanoid creatures. The animals know the forest, they were one with the forest, but he had the advantage of long range and precise aim. So, if they ran into anything smaller than him, they were most likely okay, but if they ran into... Something bigger, he had no idea what he was going to do.
But, for the most part, this should actually be a relaxing mission. Hopefully this youthful doctor wouldn't get himself into dangerous situations on purpose. He knew doctors like to do a "If this, than what?" calculation, but that just wasn't a good idea when something could KILL YOU. Doctors were so selfless sometimes though, it bothered him. It was like... Selfish, and selfless... So odd.
After a while his ears perked up, turning the way he was facing as he heard the boy approaching. He was early, just like him, it seemed. He slowly rose up and smiled at the Luinnell, "Your early, aren't you little doctor?" He asked, before bend back over, and grabbing his smaller back, he then hoisted it up over his shoulder, sighing papillary. It was cold out, bitter cold.

Luinnell’s ears perked up and forward and his whole face lit up at the older male, his tail wagging slowly before it speed up with such force that it turned and wrapped around him before swinging the other way. “Of course, the earlier you are up the better chance I don’t have of being caught by my aunt and made to stay home!” Also; though he wouldn’t ever say it out loud, he was too excited about finally finding someone to take him into the forest. No one wanted to take him, either they said he was too much trouble or too young to be going galloping out in such a dangerous place. He was young, but they meant his mind. He was scatter brained, happy and delighted at the sun’s rays catching glass and casting rainbows.
Recalling pay he reached into the bag at his side and brought out ruby colored stones that gleamed like drops of blood in light, but in the dark of twilight they were black. Counting out twelve he held them forward, his hand small with long slender fingers each tipped with claws out only because he tried to hold all the stones in his hand at one time. “Half now and half when we get back!” His tail was still wagging back and forth, his ears peering forward but twitching at ever small sound of a bird as his mind judged quickly the species of the call before dismissing it. He could smell the forest now, the smell of leaves rotting on the ground and the scent of decaying trees that had long fallen.
The smell of pine to filled his senses, those trees were grew until a few feet then the real forest came and the world seemed to change as plants with colors of rainbows could be spotted. "I am not little doctor either," he huffed unhappily his tail bottling just a bit as his ears flicked back offended. "Luinnell is my name, and I am not little!" His huff turned to a full sulk, his bottom lip stuck out just a bit more and his tail flicked back and forth at the tip.

Naz couldn't hold back his chuckle as he tail swung back and forth quietly, being very amused. " Alright, Luinnell was it? And everyone's small compared to me.". He took the money carefully placing it into pocket, before putting his bag around one shoulder.
If there was something about his looks that he liked, it would be how damn blue he was. It was actually kinda hard to not stare it. If he had a girly side, and he didn't, he would even be tempted to call it 'pretty'. But he wasn't girly in ANY FORM, so he'd stick with 'he was an odd ball'.
He turned towards the forest, grinning as he examined it, "Alright, lets get started. I would offer to carry your stuff but I'm your body guard, need to keep my hands free." Naz told him before slowly walking forward, making sure the kid took the hint and followed him. He had his hand at his gun, prepared at all times, but he was still laid back.

Luinnell’s pout clearly deepened at the comment, he was small to everyone dang it! “Well then you will be getting hit more by tree branches.” Ha, that made him feel happy again; the thought of tree’s hitting his face was rather distasteful. His ears perked forward as guide said they could go, but he rolled his eyes as his stuff was said to be left behind. “I am not even taking it all inside, but could you just keep your back to me super quick?” No one else was out over here but them and he rather no one sees him changing. Turning his own back to his guide who he realized, hadn’t felt the same about giving his name as Luinnell did; he started stripping and unbuckling everything. Quickly though he had on a new pair of pants, this one was warn and stained with grass but it was a soft gray as his hair. It was tight but still a bit baggy so he could move easily.
A shirt to was slipped back on, no sleeves and tight as a second skin. This one his aunt had made and it mimicked his fur pattern on his own skin where the shirt touched. The only thing giving it away as being a shirt was the hem around his shoulders and around his neck. The stuff in his bag he shifted through until he had two piles. He left everything though, but a back he tied around his waist and trusting his guide he even left his knife. Done all he had on him was a pad of paper and a stub of charcoal for sketching. Humming happily he skipped forward, he wasn’t even wearing shoes; his back feet curled claws into the ground easily as he walked to be in front of his guide smiling brightly flashing sharp white teeth as his tail swung back and forth.
“Ok mister unnamed, now I am ready.” He hoped this guy could run, well; but wearing shows the poor fellow would never be able to climb safely into the tree’s he wanted to go to. He was so excited, he was going to look for an animal he had found just before; a thing that was not a lizard or a frog. A tiny thing that was quick and could either swim, run or jump good lengths to get away from people. “Oh, if you see a blue grass stuff, don’t touch it.” Only fair to warn him, that stuff was horridly itchy and lasted for hours with just a brush of the red stalks.

Nazeil listened to the boy, finding it slightly amusing that he didn't want Naz to look while he changed. Even if amused, he did what he told him to do and kept his back to Lycan the entire time. Once he was done, he glanced back at him, seeing what he changed into. That looked a bit better for going through a forest like this, more agile.
That's right, he hadn't given' the other a name. Maybe he shouldn't though, maybe it would make him squirm more if he didn't, buuuut, he decided he'd be nice today. " You can call me Naz, Mr.Luinnell. I've been in a forest before, I know what to look out for. I'm wearing long pants for a reason." Naz told him, before he started moving again.
"Thank you for reminding me though." He added, he had a way of putting down people without meaning to, so when he noticed he said something that... Wasn't necessarily the nicest thing in the world, he'd try to make the situation better. He really wanted to be a good person, so he tried whenever he could. He really did try.
"Oh, could you remind me how long we'll be out there?" He asked, looking back at him with a curious look.

“Ok Naz, and don’t call me mister your older than me and I find I am happily not old enough to be called mister anyway.” He looked over the pants and gave a small shrug, his tail giving a flourished wag behind him. “Yup, we will be out here until I find what I am looking for! However a week max cause it’s going to start raining then and the place will turn into a swamp.” His ears were twitching softly in excitement, he really wanted to find this animal and prove it was real. “I felt I should remind you though, my last guide died. He fell in a bush of it.” He gave a small shrug as if he spoke of the rain coming still.
He did not however, stick around; instead with a leap he was running with his claws on his feet pushing him forwarded into the forest. He did hope the man could follow quickly; Luinnell had an idea of where this odd animal would be at certain times. Still he stopped like someone slammed on the breaks and he looked down in front of him, there a large foot print with claws were. Ears falling he looked around for what could make it, but he didn’t see anything that big. Still his ears quivered unhappily and his nose wrinkled as he searched for a smell. He would admit now, he had not known there was something this big in the forest; he had seen no clue of it before. It was obvious by the claws, it was a predator and big. “So Naz, have something on you that could take something this size down?” He set his own hand in the paw print; it was double his hand size. How did something this big even move through the forest?

Naz was taken by surprise as the boy dashed forward, too anxious to wait was he? Naz wasn't the fastest, but he could keep up. He ran forward, moving on his hands and feet like his friend through the forest. He normally wouldn't, but this was the easiest and fastest way through a forest like this.
He was getting it until, that was until Luinnell went into a dead stop suddenly. Lucky enough, Naz had been paying attention and stopped beside the other, looking at the foot print. He sniffed the air and looked around, his ears alert. The foot print was new, he could smell it, that meant that whatever made it, might have already spotted them. The thing was, what type of hunter was it. Did they look too difficult to mess with, were they in it's territory? And the worse case scenario, was it a mother? Mothers were the worse, they would not stop until they were dead if it came to protecting their children.
He was still for a moment, then slowly gave a nod to his comrade, "Yeah I do... Not that I would want to, but I have a way. I deal in gun magic after all." Naz told the younger one as he continued to take a look around.
