Okay, Ghost in the Shell is perhaps the most political anime I have ever seen. This new season is really nice as well, there are insane Political elitists that are conviniced that they know the truth about the media and about society. And as a political activist, it makes my p***s very happy. Does anyone else enjoy the Political angle of the show?

Um, I was just being sarcastic about it making my p***s happy. The media is ussually refering to the Television industry, and sometimes the mainstream news. So hush you.

I was talking about the Dude, in the first episode of the new season.
And the MAINSTREAM media is ussually, if not always refering to the Television News.

As much to my surpirse I do enjoy the political angle of the show. I usually don't like to deal with the politics in any way but GITS makes them seem enjoyable. Probably because these issues and such in the show aren't really real but based on fact in the real world.

Kusanagi_Motoko I think it's funny how a lot of people say "uh that show is ******** stupid..." They only say that because they can't understand it xd This guy I know from school said that, I asked him why and he wouldn't give me a straight answer. Then finally, after bugging him for weeks, he told me it was because he couldn't understand it. rofl

Well, I wouldn't consider myself "into philosophy" because it gives me a headache, but I still like Ghost in the Shell. I guess what draws me are the constant conspiracy and corruption theories on the government, since as far as I'm concerned, it mirrors my own.

Does it really have philosophy? Cause it sounds like to me that there isn't a trace of it anywhere...well maybe not so far but still I'm having trouble finding philosophy in it at all. Could someone give me an example?

Motoko tends to say some philosophical stuff in some episodes, but that's all I can think of.
