Full Name: Masaru Mori Gender: Male Age: 20 Hometown: Lilycove City, Hoenn Personality Masaru has always been a reflection of joy and kindness. He's nice to Pokemon and humans alike, going by the moral, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." He's very kindhearted and friendly to others. Like many men at his age, he has trouble talking to the female gender. History Masaru grew up in the buzzing city of Lilycove. As such, he loves the water, but enjoys the thrill of fire. His father left Masaru at a young age, resulting in many problems in his childhood. Bullying, depression, alcoholic mother, you name it. However, his life changed when he turned 12 and received his first Pokemon from his mother; a Torchic bred by his father. From the moment he got it, he knew he wanted to base his life around Pokemon. At first, he started contests. After all, the main Hoenn Contest Hall was centered in Lilycove. At first, he was really good at it, but was bullied for acting so outgoing during his performances. He even attempted to dye his hair orange to match his Torchic, but an accidental color change made his hair pink. On his 13th birthday, Masaru traveled to the outskirts of town and watched a Pokemon battle. The thrill and excitement filled his Torchic and himself with joy. That was what he wanted. After a joyful chirp from Torchic, he knew that's what he'd do. For the next four years, Masaru started to become a successful Pokemon trainer. He successfully conquered the gyms of Hoenn and traveled to the Evergrande City to take the Hoenn Pokemon League challenge. After a second try, Masaru succeeded and was granted the champion of Hoenn which he declined. Hoenn was large, but they hadn't have even seen the rest of the world. When the Great War started three years ago, Masaru’s Pokemon journey halted to a stop. Transportation became difficult. Even going to Sinnoh was difficult so Masaru trained within his own region. Two years later, when Hoenn joined the war, he saw this as an opportunity to leave. The ferry was taking people directly to Vermillion. Excited to just get out of Hoenn, he boarded. The war was the last thing on his mind. But despite this, he couldn’t escape. The war sucked him in and he later became an elite trainer of the “Hoento” Alliance. He’s fought in the war for a year now, discovering the war was just like he originally thought. Worthless. This is most likely because of the bond that Masaru and Efreet share. He's friendly and kind, but in battle will show no mercy. History Efreet was Masaru's first Pokemon; a child of his father's Blaziken. As a Torchic, Masaru first attempted to enter contests with success, but at the price of some unhappiness. After discovering the spirit of battle, Efreet and Masaru became closer than ever and was able to leap over many obstacles. Likes - Battling - Warm Weather - Spicy Food - Guarding Friends Dislikes - Water - People who harm Masaru ~~~~~~ Name: Zephyr Species: Togekiss Gender: Female Ability: Serene Grace Personality Zephyr is truly pure in every sense of the word. Sometimes people think it's because she's a Togekiss, but whatever it is, she always brings a pure aura where she flies. She's always cheerful and brings smiles to her team when they truly need it. History Masaru obtained Zephyr as an egg when traveling the Hoenn region. A breeder that Masaru met on the way to Verdanturf gave him the egg after seeing how caring Masaru looked. After hatching, Masaru gave her extra care, being a little baby. In less than two weeks, the little Togepi evolved into a Togetic. After seeing the Togetic, a Poke-Nerd handed Masaru a Shiny Stone as a prize for beating him. Since then, Togekiss has been a staple in Masaru's battles. He's very protective of others and can sense the true emotions of his friends and foes. This is how he chooses his friends. History Masaru met Kisuke as a shy, weak Ralts outside of Petalburg City. At first, Ralts was just a companion, mainly there for teleporting. But eventually, he was able to beat weaker foes and evolve into a Kirlia. His attitude changed when they found a Dawn Stone at the sea floor. Likes - Happiness - Traveling - Nobility - Honesty Dislikes - Cheating - Really sweet foods - Pitch Darkness ~~~~~ Name: Leviathan Species: Wailord Gender: Male Ability: Water Veil Personality Leviathan is one of those stereotypical big softies. He might look big and fearsome, but he’s just full of kindness and joy. He doesn’t often battle unless it is absolutely necessary. History When Masaru returned back to Lilycove after journeying the western land of Hoenn, Masaru decided to relax. This meant having a swim at the beach. As he swam, he noticed he started to rise from the water. Below him was a jolly little Wailmer. Masaru laughed as the Wailmer carried him around the water, all in good fun of course. After Masaru was done swimming, he asked the newly found Wailmer if he’d like to join Masaru. Wailmer was happy to oblige. Likes - Long trips - Bouncing - Waves - Ferrying people - Diving Dislikes - Fighting ~~~~~ Name: Gaia Species: Flygon Gender: Female Ability: Levitate Personality Gaia usually keeps to herself and is the silent member of the team. She doesn’t show her true emotions often, and when she does, it’s only to her team members. History As Masaru traveled through the Hoenn desert, a giant sandstorm steered him off the main path. As a result, Masaru fell into a small tunnel created by a lone Trapinch. Thinking he was done for, he crawled up against the wall and prepared for the worst. However, instead the little female Trapinch walked up to him and laid down beside him, obviously enjoying the company. After the sandstorm subsided, Masaru proceeded to leave the tunnel with the aid of the Trapinch. The Trapinch accompanied him completely out the desert in which Masaru decided to capture, with her consent, and add her to his team. Likes - Isolation - Underground - Sleeping - Warm Sand Dislikes - Crowds - Cold Weather ~~~~~ Name: Volt Species: Electivire Gender: Male Ability: Motor Drive Personality Volt is as merciless as he seems, in battle anyway. Outside of battle, he acts like a tough guy. Sometimes, it’s easy to call his bluff. Don’t take Volt lightly however, as he does have a temper that you don’t want to reckon with. History When Masaru journeyed into the Mauville Power Plant, he noticed a stray Elekid that was running around frantically. He discovered that the generator was malfunctioning and was running around for help. Masaru assisted this little dude and gather many electric Pokemon to kick start the generator. As a thank you for Masaru’s assistance, Elekid joined the team, becoming very helpful in the long run. Ryuu has always have a love for Pokemon. He treats them as equal nothing more nothing less. He is very antisocial and does not work well with others even though he is kind at heart.
History
Born and raised in the bright city of Sunyshore, Ryuu has never had a hardship. His parent were engineers who worked on the light house of the city.
One day before his fifteenth birthday Team Galactic stormed the city stealing Pokemon. They stole every Pokemon and the people was helpless to stop them. When they reached to Ryuu's house his parents would not hand over their Pokemon; an Alteria and a Salamence. Two Pokemon that brought them together. Team Galactic opened fire on them killing them in the eyes of Ryuu who was hiding in the closet.
From that day forward Ryuu curse Sinnoh and stowed away on a ship leading to Hoenn. The ship had no preference to the war. It was a farmer taking his family to a far away land. This is where he met his first girlfriend, Lara.
In the dead of the night before they entered Hoenn territory a while Gastrodon attacked the ship as Ryuu and Lara where on the deck. The Gastrodon knocked the ship to the side so much the Lara was flung off the deck into the ocean. She was never found.
Ryuu vowed never to return to Sinnoh ever again.
Even then he still loved Pokemon. On his 16th birthday when he parted ways with the farmer who took him from Sinnoh Ryuu ran into an Absol. A passerby warned him that Absol was bad news. At the time not knowing about Absol Ryuu didn't know what he mean by "bad news." Later on that day a bridge collapsed has Ryuu was on it. He fell into the water and nearly drowned. When he came too an Absol was laying to his side. They have been friends ever since.
Ryuu tried his best to stay out of the war, but no matter where he went the rule was; "You have Pokemon you fight." After hearing why the regions where at war he thought the very same thing he thought from the start. Pointless.

Midori and Ryuu (the Flygon) have their ups and downs but are generally good friends with him. She like riding on his back eve though she is afraid of heights.

Personality: Verin is a very calm, collected person...What he has gone through has made him an absolute nihilist, beliving that life is pointless and the only thing that can truly leave a mark on the world is to destroy. His facade of calm vanishes under stress of battle, cuasing him to fly into a manic frenzy...During this mode, he is prone to fits of spasming and bursts of foul languge, it`s as if he`s a different person.
History:
Verin was a happy young man, he had a loving husband, pokemon he adored, and loving friends...that is...until the accident...
One day, the love of his life took ill, the towns doctor, being a smart man, sent verin up the mountain to find a rare stone. The legends spoke of the stone having the powers of ice itself, clensing the body of the desease burning his lovers body.
Alas, it was not to be, when verin went up to aquire the stone, he got lost in a blizzard, stumbling through the snow and hail, he stumbled upon a frosslass, thinking quick, he chucked his pokeball at it. Noticing him, it launched a blizzard attack at him, they both connected at the same moment, freezing them both in place.
80 years passed, technology became prevailent...and everyone he had knew had passed away..when THEY came...people in strange outfits, with weird haircuts, acended the mountain to take the pokemon of the people who resided there. As they ascended, they got lost in the blizzard. To their surprise, they stumbled upon the frozen form of verin, in a frenzy, they unthawed him, to take the pokeball clutched in his hand. When they succeded, to their surprise, he lashed out, the memories of what happened to him still fresh on his blurred mind. After escaping the odd people, he returned to his village, witch by now had grown into a flourishing city...No one knew him, no one cared...his heart grew as cold as the mountain that had claimed him for those long, hard years. His life now exsists for the soul purpose of destroying.

He was born in the city of Fuchsia, under Henry and Tina Gibbs. Henry was a cousin of Fuchsia’s Gym Leader, Koga. Because of that, Ronnie was already granted the Soul Badge when he became a Pokemon trainer at age 11. He started off his adventure with a Pokemon his parents caught for him at the Safari Zone. A Rhyhorn. The young boy journeyed across Kanto, and captured a few Pokemon along the way, including a Magnemite, a Zubat, and a Beedrill. Having collected all eight of the Gym badges, Ronnie took on the Pokemon League challenge, but lost to Will. As soon as he was about to retake the challenge, the war started and the Elite 4 wouldn’t accept his challenge. Ronnie’s PersonalityRonnie’s a nice kid with a love for everything. There isn’t really a thing he hates. He’s a humorous kid who’ll crack a joke any chance he gets, but knows when to stop. He’s also extremely caring, and is secretly homosexual. No one in the world knows besides his best friends, his Pokemon. When the blond haired kid traveled through Viridian Forest, he came across many Caterpie and Weedle. Throwing a Pokeball into a random tree, Ronnie hit a Kakuna in the head. Aggravated, the cocoon Pokemon evolved and attacked Ronnie, but the Bee Pokemon was defeated by Shredder. Ever since, Stinger’s been the scout of the group, always keeping alert for enemies and wild Pokemon. He has a fierce temper, and will fight to the death to save Ronnie. FangSpecies: Golbat Gender: Male History: Fang was the result of Ronnie getting tired of Rock Tunnel and capturing a random Pokemon. He happened to capture an extremely friendly and affectionate Zubat. The Zubat guided Ronnie through the Rock Tunnel, and Ronnie decided to keep the bat with him. Fang later became a major force to be reckoned with on Ronnie’s team. During his gym battle with Erica, Fang evolved into a Golbat, and handsomely won the battle with a mighty Wing Attack on Erica’s Vileplume. Lately, Fang’s been growing really affectionate and happy, and seems to be getting stronger. SentrySpecies: Magneton Gender: N/A History: Sentry is Ronnie’s seemingly emotionless Magneton. To some, Sentry shows no emotion whatsoever, but to Ronnie, he knows exactly if Sentry is happy, sad, or downright pissed off. Sentry was caught as a Magnemite outside the Power Plant. Battling the Magnet Pokemon with Shredder after it took out both Stinger and Fang, Ronnie soon captured him with a Luxury Ball. At first Sentry was disobedient to Ronnie, but soon grew to love the kid. During a battle with another trainer’s Magnemite, Sentry evolved into Magneton and crushed the other trainer’s team. Sentry was also a key Pokemon in defeating Sabrina, the Psychic Gym Leader. BillSpecies: Golduck Gender: Male History: Bill was captured in a small pond in Celedon City. The Golduck was a tough opponent to defeat, but Fang managed to defeat the duck with a well-placed Poison Fang. After capturing the Golduck, Ronnie named him after an old friend of his Dad’s, who died to a nasty disease. Bill is Ronnie’s main source of transportation across water, and together with Shredder, were the two Pokemon who dominated Blaine on Cinnabar Island. Bill acts sort of like a leader to the rest of Ronnie’s team, due to him being the oldest. When and if Ronnie’s not available, Bill is ready to take charge of the situation. HeliosSpecies: Magmar Gender: Male History: Helios is quite a hot head. He looses his temper easily, and won’t stop to threaten anyone who gets in his way. Helios was found tormenting smaller Pokemon inside the caves of Cinnabar Island. Ronnie decided he would have to take charge and try to change the Fire Pokemon. Using Bill to defeat Helios in battle, he captured the Pokemon, and he soon began to respect him, but still lost his temper often. Ronnie has been on the end result of a Flamethrower countless times, but forgives the Pokemon each time. Helios was caught after Ronnie collected 7 of the badges, so he hasn’t gotten to see much fighting. During his battle with Blue, Helios defeated his Exeggutor, but was defeated by Blue’s own Rhydon. During the battle against Will of the Elite 4, Helios fought a long and hard battle against Slowbro, but lost. ShredderSpecies: Rhydon Gender: Male History: Shredder is the first Pokemon Ronnie ever had. It was a Rhyhorn that his parents captured in the Safari Zone and gave to him for his 11th birthday. Shredder got his nickname when Ronnie opened up the Safari Ball and the Pokemon burst through. Luckily, they were outside, but the Pokemon just tore up the grass and shrubs. Shredder has been a powerhouse on Ronnie’s team, taking on the strongest of Pokemon and winning. Shredder’s only been defeated a few times, including a crushing defeat to Will’s Jynx. Shredder’s willing to defend Ronnie and the other team members with his life, including Helios, who dislikes Shredder.

History: As a young trainer Donovan headed out on his pokemon journey, he fought many trainers around the world but never got his chance to preform in the gyms or fight the Elite Four, a few months prior to the war starting, Donovan happened to be in Johto training in Ilex Forest, never getting the chance to get back to Kanto Donovan is now stuck in hostile territory with no way home. Hoping to not get dragged into a war he wants nothing to do with, he hops from town to town praying he finds an easy way to the Sevii Islands.

HistoryHer mother died when she was very young, raised alone by her father, but he was a very busy man. Nayoko had all the time in the world to do absolutely nothing. In the large halls of her family estate her only companion was the family Persian. Nayoko abused her relationship with the feline, learning most of her natural behavior the same way a cat would act, she fell in love with the look of cats, the colors, the soft plush fur. She loved the noises they made and eventually made a costume of her own to show her love for cats. Her father returned one day to see this un-natural behavior and had the cats removed from the house, but nayoko had been alone with the cats for so long it only made her yearn for a life with pokemon, a life working beside them, with them, helping them in a partnership that could only be what is called a true relationship with your pokemon. Nayoko finally ventured out into the world with only one pokemon, when she escaped her fathers grasp he threatened to follow her, to find her, but she knew her pokemon would keep her safe. HistoryWhen nayoko was very little, her father left her alone in the house. Kitten was wild, and nayoko would leave the house every day on a walk, after leaving the housepet Persian to the indoors she would visit the garden. Kitten would watch her every day. Nayoko would play in the vast gardens behind her home. One day upon entering the garden, nayoko was attacked by a wild venomoth, before the fight could even begin kitten burst through the bushes and took venomoth out with a powerful peck, since then nayoko and kitten have been inseparable.
