The sea is a big place. But just when you think you know the water, things go all wrong. It only took one night for a mermaid to get stuck in a harsh tide. And it only took a night for her to lose her way. She now finds herself near a shore to what looks like a private island. Captivated by it she goes to get a better look. And when she does, she sees the first human of many. A young girl, walking the beach.

Bio: Daughter of the Kings servants, she was to be married to the Prince. But she wasn’t sure if she even wanted to. She wanted to make her parents proud. But when she was younger she began to notice that she wasn’t interested in males, but females. She kept her secret for years and still her family doesn’t know. Melody opened her clear eyes. She had a headache and she gave a weak cough. She looked at her surroundings, and finally realized she was lost. She had no where to go...
she looked to the horizon and she saw a gorgeous beach.

[haha no worries ^.^] Melody swam untila wave came and washed her upon the sandy shore. He shook out her light hair. Her big blue eyes opened and she saw a girl on the shore. Instead of a tail, she had two.. she wasnt sure what they were called. she forgot the name. She tried getting back into the water. She wasnt sure if she was suppose to ever come into contact with a human.

Melody saw that this girl wasnt going to hurt her. that gave her comfort. She looked up and gave a smile.
"Um.. Hi. Im Melody. whats your name?" she said sweetly. She hoped this girl understood her. she had picked up english from other friends in the sea. It came in handy alot of times. Her blue eyes sparkled. She looked over the girl. She was really pretty. Dark brown hair, blue eyes. She smiled a little bit. Humans werent that different. Where she came from they were made out to be almost something evil. This girl looked so... innocent to her. It was a beautiful thing to see. she couldnt help but smile.

Melody giggled at how surprised the girl was.
"Never seen a mermaid before?" She smiled sweetly.
"Yes, I seem to be stuck. But I dont mind sitting here with you." She giggled again. she was oddly comfortable talking to this girl. Her presence was calming almost, unlike her fathers.
