Another day, another class. But, finally, at long last another wrath student. She wasn't sure why they amused her so much, but perhaps it was because both had easily sparked tempers... Either way, Bleez just happened to be a part of the newest wrath arrival and leaned more towards speed than strength.
Sighing, Ary cracked her knuckles. Well, speed or not things would definitely prove to be fairly interesting in the long run. She just had to hope Bleez wasn't accidentally injured...

The tomboy spawn walked into the classroom, hands shoved deep in her pockets. Little more than an irritated look graced her face. In all honesty, though, she was really excited to start melee classes. She had a lot of anger and frustration that she wanted to get out. Plus, learning how to defend yourself was always worth learning.
Her eyes darted about the room, taking it all in. Then her eyes fell on her teacher. She huffed, disappointed that it wasn't a guy. What could this woman teach her? How to kick a guy in the junk and run off? Bleez shook her head, best not judge, the lady at least had muscle on her.
Bleez cocked her head to the side and grunted, "Hi."

Ary raised an eyebrow at the grunted greeting, staring down the spawn coolly. At least she looked like a tomboy and wasn't wearing a skirt or something else just as god awful. "Well, don't act so enthusiastic, I know this class is really awesome but really," she replied with a snort.
"M'name's Ary. I'm guessing you're Bleez so I have, but one question. What would you like me to teach? I can teach you how to take down an opponent with your bare fists or we can go with something a bit more elegant or something totally unusual. Or perhaps something far more sinister and deadly." A smirk crossed the teacher's face at the thought. Ah, the good old days of sneaking around and claiming lives under the cover of the night.

The suggestions really peeked Bleez's interest. Her tail swayed back and forth as she thought them all over. Bare fists would be fun, she'd get the satisfaction of beating someone with her own hands and she'd never need to carry around a weapon. Elegance didn't sound like her, but maybe it'd make a certain someone like her more? Unusual, well, she was already that. And there there was the "sinister and deadly." Hm... that sounded interesting.
It took her a long moment, then she finally came to the conclusion that she had no idea. "Can.we.use.my.speed.with.any.of.those?" she asked, hopefully gleaning more information from

"Well... Speed is excellent with anything, since it gives your target less time to react. However, since you're probably faster on your feet and hands... Street fighting would probably be more your style. Or perhaps sword fighting. Some of that stuff can happen in the blink of an eye..." Ary trailed off, remembering her classes with Aludra. Those had been fun and reminded her that her abilities lay in strength and the ability to foresee her opponents attack, which helped her speed-wise.
"But, if you wanted something a little more sinister and dark, like that of a rogue, I'm sure I can think of something. Throwing shurikens or other varying assassin or ninja styles would work as well," she added, pondering. Hell, she could probably make something UP if she had to by combining fist fighting and other varying modes of combat.

Again, Bleez thought it over before she answered. Swordplay was deadly, she remembered watching some movies with it in them. She wasn't sure she'd be able to be coordinated enough for that, though. She had enough problems trying to figure out this whole newly prehensile tail thing. Rogue? Assassin? Ninja? Eh... those could be fun, but she wasn't one for being quiet usually. In the end she settled for one.
"Street.fighting," Bleez reasoned, "I.might.not.always.'ave.a.weapon. Dis.way.I.can.always.fight." She punched her hand into her open palm for emphasis.

Ary grinned. "Good choice. It's probably one of the few that will be of most use to you as well. Perhaps, if you take my class again, we could try something else," she mused before finally moving closer to the center of the room, beckoning Bleez over to her.
"First, you need to know how to defend various places on yourself such as the face," Ary moved her one arm up to block an imaginary blow. "And middle area," her arms moved down to block her stomach and chest area. "It may seem pointless, but you'll find that unless you can properly defend yourself there really isn't a point in fighting. Now show me the moves I just showed you. No need to be exact, as a blow can come from any angle."

Bleez stepped forward and watched Ary with great interest as she demonstrated the blocking methods. She made small motions, mimicking Ary's blocks after Ary made them herself.
The spawn nodded when Ary told her to show her the moves she had just illustrated. Bleez snapped her arm up in front of her face than swept it down to block her midsection. Once done, she stood back at attention and waited for the next lesson. So far, this class wasn't too bad.

Ary watched Bleez mimic her moves with a good amount of precision and speed much like she figured would happen. “Good. Very good actually. Before I show you the next few moves for offensive attacks, I want you to block whatever move I throw at you. Got it? This is simply practice, as the real sparring will come later but don’t think I’ll go easy,” she instructed, taking on a more offensive stance and waiting for Bleez to adopt a defensive one.
Once Bleez did so and seemed to be ready, Ary aimed a quick light punch to her shoulder and then to her face a few moments later to allow the spawn a slight recovery. It was definitely difficult toning down her moves and not being fancy with them. But, she managed nonetheless.

Bleez did as she was told, once again. If there was one thing that she wanted out of this it was the knowledge of how to effectively beat the ever-living snot outta someone.
She blocked both attacks easily, sighing internally out of boredom. If she were a prideful person, she'd think that she was just that awesome. This spawn, however, felt like her teacher was holding back. If this slow pace continued much longer, she'd probably become irritated if this fact were true.

"Hrm... This won't work at all. How about something a little... Faster?" Ary asked rhetorically, throwing light and rapid punches with only a partial second of recovery from each. Unique in placement and style, it was only a matter of time till Bleez either tired or messed up. Which, depending on when that happened, would cause a switch in her teaching. Until that occurred, they'd just have to deal with defending and working on imprinting the information permanently into her mind.

As Ary quickened her punches, Bleez quickened her blocks. This was better! Surprisingly, Bleez was doing really well, even managing to use her arm spikes as an extension for blocking so she wouldn't have to move her arm so much.
Due to the near repetition of the moves (you can only punch and block so many ways without getting fancy), Bleez's mind started to wander. It wasn't about anything in particular, but it was evident that she was beginning to not pay attention.
Until a punch managed to find its mark. She stopped, her attention snapping back to the current activities. Though it didn't hurt, it was definitely a surprise. Her tail tip twitched in agitation, though it was her own fault for the mistake.

Ary stopped her attacks, frowning. "Bleez, pay attention lest you learn nothing and go home covered in bruises. We'll start with actual attacks since this seems so easy for you. Punches are easy since you just aim and throw while keeping one arm close to block. You can kick, but aim low lest they catch your foot and throw you aside," she paused, giving a simple demonstration of each. "Feints are when you go for one area and instead go for another, like so." Her fist launched itself out but stopped halfway with the other sneaking around and nailing her opponent in the jaw.
"Uppercuts are simply a punch upward and at a slight angle. Don't do wide or huge attacks. Keep them small, varied, and close. Going out of your way to get at them will leave yourself open for a counterattack. Now, try and hit me," Ary continued, a slight smirk on her face.

"Sorry," Bleez mumbled, rubbing the spot she'd been hit.
Alright! Attacking! This seemed more up her alley! Not that there was anything wrong with blocking, but the best defense is a good offense... or so she thought.
She listened intently, mimicking the punches in "miniform," just so she had the basics in mind. She learned by doing, so it was easier for her to imitate a person directly after they explained an instruction.
"Buh?" Bleez blinked. What kind of an instruction was "hit me?" She stared at her teacher, a little dumbfounded. Well, she supposed she knew what she was doing, otherwise she wouldn't be a melee teacher. Bleez took up an awkward stance, trying to block several areas, just in case. She even managed to get her tail moving around so it'd be able to block with it a bit too.
"Okay..." Bleez pretty much announced her attack with that. She threw a quick jab, though it was honestly slower than her genetics could allow. But she really didn't know what the hell she was doing.

Ary easily blocked the jab, frowning a bit. “Come on already. Use what I’ve taught you and try to hit me. And this time, pay attention,” she instructed, holding back a possible counter attack to the weak jab. Bleez was just learning after all, so there was really no need to violently reprimand her just yet. Still, the teacher had to do something and instead of attacking, moved a bit to the left to offset her student a bit by the sudden change in angles.
