Leez0rz The summertime had to be Khajag's least favorite season. The weather always proved to be too warm for him during this season, and he would prefer to stay in the shade of the forest. His dark coat would absorbed the heat, rather than reflect the heat as a lighter coat would do. His travels were limited to the forested areas, or places near large bodies of water. He didn't dare venture into the open plains where the grasses were probably yellow with dehydration and scorching hot temperatures. For now, he was content hanging around the forest. Retro Coffee The weather wasn't too warm for him. Then again, Cadius thrived in hot weather. He much prefered it over the rainy months and the cold months of winter. He was in the forest, near a little stream taking a drink. Tail swishing behind him at the flies and bugs that wanted to eat him whole. It had been a long, long while since the orange, black and blue male had met ay other Soquili of any other breed. But that was mainly his fault. He'd gone into hiding, it seemed, when the baby boom happened. Spring was always when the most babies were born. It reminded him, painfully, that he didn't have a mate yet. "Ah, well. It'll happen when it happens! No need to rush, after all, I'm still in my prime!" Leez0rz Deciding that he was feeling a bit thirsty, the tall, yet medium built stallion headed towards a stream that he knew was nearby. It had been a few months since he had met anyone knew. Honestly, he was on a search for at least one of his daughter, but he could not find one of them. Listening onto some small gossip, he had heard their names and knew they were about in the lands, but he knew nothing else. Just the thought of his children made the stallion a bit melancholy, and the added basket boom made the stallion long for another child of his own. He just needed to know he would do well raising a child, but with his first set of kids, it didn't seem like he could save his children from the set insanity from their mother's side. Being set too deep in his thoughts, the stallion kept on moving forward, breaching the point where the forest met the bare grounds near the stream. If he didn't snap out of his thoughts soon, he would be stepping right into the stream. Retro Coffee Caidus turned when he heard hooves coming along the path toward the stream. He blinked at what he saw. A very handsom stallion in the most beautiful green he'd ever seen. Well, this might be his lucky day to takl to someone other than himself for a change! Licking water off his muzzle, he knickered a little to try to get the other's attention. But it seemed the other was way to deep into thought, just like Cadius had been earlier. So, he walked over toward him and flicked his flankes with his tail. "You're fixing to walk right into the stream. Then where would you be?" He smirked as he talked, trying to get his voice into that smooth, sexy, come and get it voice. No, Cadius didn't care if the object of affection was male or female. His tail continued to flick this way and that as he tossed his hair out of his eyes. "I'm Cadius, by the way." Leez0rz Khajag heard a voice that pulled him out of his thoughts. His eyes held a dazed look before his eyes met the gaze of the stallion before him. He looked quite surprised to see the stallion there, then the stream a couple hoof steps in front of him. "O-oh... thank you. I would be.. in the stream, if it hadn't been for you?" He said with a blush on his face, and his head tilted down to try and hide the blush behind his side-swept bangs. His voice was soft in tone, and wavered from time to time. He didn't mean to get so deep in thought. The stallion nodded his head to the other stallion, taking in his features. He was a lovely shade of blue, black and had a good contrasting orange. He was gorgeous, in other words. Retro Coffee Cadius smirked a bit as he saw the blush the other tried so hard to hide. Still, he couldn't help but tease him about it with a n** to his hair and a playful tug. "You'd have kept walking and walked straight into the current. I saved your life, you know. I'm a guiding star." He truly believed that, he was a star that was fallen from the sky. He was on the look for his family, the other fallen stars. Maybe this one was one of them. He was certainly handsome enough to be one! He froliced a bit ahead and went into the shallow parts of the stream, looking back at him. "Come on, then! You seem to be in need of a good swim. You look all sweaty and flushed." Leez0rz Feeling the n** to his hair and the playful tug, the stallion felt his blush darken over his cheeks. "Oh.. I suppose your right." His eyes glanced at the current in front of them. "I can assure you.. I'm a good swimmer, and it doesn't seem like that stream could carry me away." He smiled a bit. "A guiding star?" The stallion wasn't familiar with this term, at least this stallion's terms of using those words. The stallion's eyes continued to follow the kirin stallion, laughed at his response. "A-am I sweaty..? I guess I didn't notice." He said, not answering to the description of being flushed. He moved closer to the stream, and placed one hoof in the stream. The cool water felt good against his warm skin. "A swim would be nice..." He said softly. Retro Coffee He waited until the other got into the stream and he went in a bit deeper, sighing at the cool liquid. It felt really good, despite the heat hardly ever getting to him. His tail flicked water at the other before smirking softly. "So, I never did get your name. You were busy blushing like crazy," he said, teasing and flirting at the same time. So apparently this other stallion found him attractive! With all the blushing and stammering he was doing. "Should I just call you mine?" Again, a flirting tease. Leez0rz Khajag was in chest deep water, and even though the water was cold and slowly making his whole body cold, it was better than being hot. His ears twitched in the direction of the male. His eyes widened. How could he forget to introduce himself... but he also forgot the stallion's name. The blush that had just dissipated reappeared and darkened over his cheeks. "O-oh. I'm sorry! I don't know.. what's wrong with me today." He said a bit quickly. His eyes widened even further. The stallion was quiet for a good minute, standing there agape. Water was starting to fill his mouth, before he started blubbering. "Mine..?" Retro Coffee A laugh errupted from the scaled stallion and Cadius shook his head in amusement. Oh, he was adorable. He still didn't say his name. "So you're mine, I'd still like to know my things' name. I gave you mine. Cadius, but you've illuded me for some time. Is your name a secret from even yourself?" He wasn't being mean about it. The whole time he spoke was in a purring voice as he neared the other and waited, watching the water dribble off his chin as he stood there. Leez0rz The stallion shook his head, trying to clear his head. He obviously was getting too distracted, and couldn't think straight. It was getting harder and harder to think clearly, the more the other stallion said. "I'm.. yours?" His brows furrowed together, and looked at the stallion with a confused expression. "I'm sorry!" He said loudly. "My name is Khajag!" He said rather loudly, but quickly blushed again. His bashfulness was hitting him back with full force.
