EDIT (By Az of Course)
Self Evident thread, follow the trend of describing the race you are using as you are using it. Previously noted, no need to conform to anything here. As always, an invitation to all TTB players to make an entry on Vampires.
EDIT
Also, describe jobs, classes, etcs here as well.

High Elves Specifically, Ancient Power High Elves used by Azaireal Physically, a High Elf is a moderately tall humaniod ranging from 4'5" to about 7'00", averaging around 5'5". They have a variety of eye colours, including any found on humans. Usually, they have green eyes which reflects their affimity with nature. They have a wide range of hair colours, from blond to black, and a few additional colours including a flaming red, a sea green or a soft blue. High Elves seem to be immune to obesity, but in extremely rare cases a seemingly fat elf will appear. Their skin colour is fair, with slighly darker and slightly lighter variations. Opal or pure white skin is rare, and almost always accompanies cultural or personal prestige. The physical beauty of a High Elf is not comparable to that of a human, because the ugliest of elves is still more beautiful than the prettiest of humans. Generally, High Elves are in better physical shape than humans, possessing greater strength and agility than most humans. The brain of the High Elf is genetically more advanced than that of a human, making them more intelligent as well. High Elves are not known to die from natural aging. High Elves of Ravenloft: Nelphean Nightblade's line.Generally, this perticular batch of elves have strange and fluctuating magical powers and abilities. They are generally resistant to all forms of paralysis and charms making them more capable of surviving the hostile environment. They seem to be more capable of learning magic than other branches of High Elves. They live in bands or communites of about one hundred elves and seek to fit into society as a whole. The Nightblade is a title given to individual elves who demonstrate great process in Illusionist magic and clandestine arts. High Elves of Advoneria: Kellendel's Line. This branch of High Elves are similar to Ravenloft elves, except they are not immune to paralysis. They are extremely resistant to sleep magics, and are more apt at using long swords and long bows than the average High Elf. They are commonly trained to be powerful fighter/mages, or warriors who are capable wizards as well. They tend to be more hostile than most other branches of High Elves towards humans and are known for their consistant Crusades against them. Most High Elves live around the capitol of the Elfish Kingdom of Skylandroff, or in the two smaller kingdoms of Golden Star or Halfstar. They have a fairly large population base, and use a semi-feudal governing system. They lost the ability to build flying machines, and lost contact with the ancient sky power of Pegtexia. Death Rangers are a perticular sect of warrior elves who actively seek the destruction of non-elven life. Judges are another sect of elves bent on the destruction of the non-elven races, but are more readily identified by their use of large semi-animated magical suits of armour. They often take on names that relate to justice. Eldar (Space High Elves of Earth): Rain's LineA branch of technologically advanced elves that abandoned earth to live in space and free from the confines of the Homeworld sphere. A quasi-magical attachment to the planet keeps the Eldar close to the planet at most times, except for when they travel en mass to distant reaches of the galaxy to fight in their wars. They relly heavily on their technology for daily life and combat, and have little knowledge of true magic. They are a race of psychics and always promote the strongest psychics to positions of great power. The population has reach several billion and they have colonized a few planets throughout the star system. Farseers are the leaders of smaller units of Eldar, and have the ability to see future events. They have some other psychic powers but generally relly on divination. Half-ElvesA High Elf- human/other hybrid is called a half elf. These unique people are generally more elvish than human because of the superior genetic material gained from the elfish parent. They have many of the quasi-magical properties of their elfish parent. Some Half Elves have died from Aging, some have not. Half-Elf communities do not exist, as the non-elfish or elfish elements are breed out over succesive generations.

High Elves Labyrinth High Elves used by Azaireal A breed of elves that are very similar to the Ancient Power High Elves physically. They are roughly the same height and weigth, with the same variation in eye colour and hair colour. The major difference between the two races is that the Labyrinth High Elves have much more pale skin. The lack of sunlight has caused their skin to become more fair. Because of the hostile environment of the Underworld, the High Elves of the Destroyed Kingdom have lost their homeland and the majority of their culture along with it. They survive in small bands and try to exist in the chaotic realm. Most of the small bands have found small kingdoms to join, or have integrated themselves into a few of the other Elfish Kingdoms. On the supernatural spectrum, the High Elves have access to 'Blood Magic' or traditional elfish magic, which they use to defend themselves in a variety of ways. Arcane Archer: A type of warrior who has specialized in the use of a bow in combination with his internal magical prowess. He is able to launch an unnatural number of arrows in a short time, and can enchant those arrows with magical properties. The supernatural abilities of the Arcane Archer reflect a subconsious transfer of power. Summoner: A wizard who conjours ancient spirits or guardians into a physical form. Spellblade: A type of warrior that transfers magical power to his weapons, similar to an arcane archer.

Drow As Used By Azaireal in Labyrinth This entire race of elves has ebony (literally black) skin and white hair. Their eyes are almost always red, but a rare few are born with purple eyes. They range in heighth from about 4'00" to around 6'00" with a small minority of taller drow. These drow are born with the ability to create Faerie Fire, a type of magical flame that illuminates an object or creature without burning it. The second ability all drow are born with is the ability to create Globes of Darkness, which are impenatrable to even the darkvision of all underdark minions. A few drow, called 'nobles', are able to levitate at will. These magical properties are assumed to be gifts from the gods to enable this race to survive in the hostile climate of the Underworld. Dominia, a nation-state of drow, is ruled by the will of a single female with Empress-like stature. Her rule is attributed to the absolute favour of Lloth, or Lolth, which is proven by the birth of the demi-god Kimmuriel. The state is divided into eight Princedoms ruled by the largest family in each region. The population as a whole has reached around two million, with a good portion of them Drow elves. There is a strong magical tradition of wizardry in the Empire, which has given it a strange super-magical society.

Tier'Dal The Tier'dal, the dark elves, or drow, or Norrath..trace thier lineage back to the original King and Queen to teh High Elven, or Koada'Dal, race. the God of Hate, Innoruuk, stole them in jealousy and remade them to an image be felt was an improvement, depositing them in the Underfoot, or norrath's underdark. the Tier'Dal created a city/state/country in teh underfoot, called Neriak. it was one well known opening to the surface in the Nektulos Forest. Neriak the main city conects to this enterance. The culture of the Tier'Dal is definately dependant on two things, social darwinism and the clergy. The guild leaders, teachers, merchants. all of them are either very good at thier proffesions, or very good at killing. most times both. the church of Innoruuk holds the most sway among the people, as Tier'Dal are almost without exception devoted to Innoruuk. the other guilds consist of an Assassin's guild, a Warrior guild, a Necromancer/Shadowknight guild and a general magics guild for summoners, wizards, illusionists. The King and Queen of Neriak, supposedly the orginal king and queen of the Koada'Dal, are divided. the King is of a more temporal power bend, wanting to strengthen the military might of the Tier'Dal underhis rule, while the Queen is more devoted to Innoruuk's teachings and the church. So even within the Guilds, one is not immune not only to attacks by fellow guildmates to increase thier position or power, but members of other guilds looking to earn favor and power form one of the two monarchs. the division was the Indigo Brotherhood, the Black Hand, and the Spurned (warrior/assassin/non necro spell casters) against the Dead and the Clergy of Innoruuk (necromancer/shadowknight/clerical) Recently, due to the actions of Innoruuk's daughter, Lanys T'vyl...the King of Neriak has been incapacitated, leaving the Queen to start her plans for reforming and restructuring the Tier'Dal empire, which eems to be moving toward a matriarchal bend seen in Llothian society. Tier'dal average from 5'5 to 6'3, and thier skin can range anywhere from ebony to ocean blue. darker colors are rare, as a common derogatory nickname for the race is 'blueberry'. thier hair is stark white to black, and all shdes of grey. thier eyes can be nearly any color, through purples and reds are more common. There are many similarities in teh Llothian and Innoruukian society as far as raising and learning. Tier'dal rarely see parents, mostly kept in studies froma young age, and learning from tutors and from older siblings. thier tests however may differ. they are taught all of thier skills by a master in the field, and are punished for failure and rewarded for success, though nothing seriously done to them as far as injury. Many are simply humiliating. and Tier'dal being prideful, are more hurt at a younger age by injuries to the pride anyway. final exams for Tier'dal are usually as simple as destroying the rest of your class, or incapcitating them. usually a number is set, a tiem frame given, and at teh end of the time the correct amount or less report back to be rewarded with entry positions in thier respective guilds. The Tier'dal are known for thier deadly combat skills, and thier ability to decieve and twist words and deals to thier advantage. almsot nothing a Tier'Dal does isnt part of a larger plan.

Half Elves
As used by Lunar Dawn in Labyrinth A society of beings that are half elf, and half soemthing else. As long as genetics are compatable, you can find any other half. All high elven, drow, tier'dal traits are seen in here. Physical characteristics therefore are broad and wide, perhaps the only unifiing characteristics are: pointed ears, delicate bone structure. Most half-elves lean toward the slight of build. Seen as the barbarics, the savages in most eyes. To human, they are pitied, ebcause they are only half of a man. To elves, they are disgusted, because they are half of a man, and only half of an elf. Often taking up tribal like qualities, living by the word of their fellow priests, who often show signs of being guided by god or gods (often the Earth Mother) but just as often not. In the underdark, they stick mostly to themselves, and avoid conflict where possible. If backed into a corner, they will fight like rabid dogs. Be warned. Though at terms with their half heritage, many halfelves carry an aura of saddness. Perhaps of something lost, or never to be gained. Others Will abandon one heritage, and live as the other, even docking ears or dying hair and skin where possible. Abilities given by any side of the heritage can be almost equal too, but enver surpas that of the origional. Strength comes in the combined talents of both backgrounds.

Conduits
As used by Lunar Dawn in Labyrinth Rare creatures, often in the frail and tmepted bodies of humans, who bare portals to darker planes someplacec on their bodies. They have the ability to channle dark powers through them. Younger ones cannot controle their "voids", bad luck, misfortion, even things like sickness, an desease can leake out in a ohysical manifestation fo blck oze. Cold iron (the anti-magic) will suprese these leaks. Conduits cannot controle the demonic energies they can harness. Some other with magical abilities must extract the power, use the conduit as a tool. This person must have either strong power of experiance with controle, as the *chaos factor can take hold and produce disasterous concequences. *The Chaos Factor: In the event that magic cannot be controled or manipulated to do what the user wishes, it is converted into raw chaos. This chaos, if too much builds in one place, (a spell to creat a whisp, if gone wrong, will not creat enough chaos to do any more damage than a stubbed toe. Trying to create a loaf of bread might burn the house down.) will randomly manifest itself to balance the life stream.

Drow
As used by Lunar Dawn in Labyrinth A society that relays heavily on magic, and the physical and mental capabilities to "fight." Drow women, cruel but beautiful, which makes them ugly in every way. Men are low, often fodder. A drow, no matter his or her status or gender, is a bred killing machine. What is not drow does not deserve to live, or least must be ruled by the drow. All else is beneath their feet. Fight for the glory of Lloth, and for yourself, should you find you are in Lloth's favor. Drow are rude, vulgar, and violent. Surface elves are dispised. ((Shrugs. This is jsut what I keep in mind when playing Drow.))

Griffin
LD, Lab
The head of an eagle, the body of a lion. Ranging from golden browns to dusty blacks, with various types of pur and feather patterns. Usually, coats tend to be more of the cat veriety, rather than bird. Stripes and spots are more common that full colours. A very rare griffin is roan. (Rusty red) Griffins are pridful, amoungst themselves and any who happen to befreind them. They are extremely intelegent, though they cannot speak. Making fun of a griffin can be your death, whether it be something trivial, like the size of their talons, or important such as the shine of their feathers. These creatures are prone to violence, are easily provoked. The population of bird-cats is small. They roam in small, tight knit packs, living nomadically, following their pray. When crossing the paths of other griffins; greetins, food and fights for females are shared where possible. The female is large than the male, but not as agressive. Cubs tend to have soft down mized with their fu, to keep them warm in the harsh underground climate. While griffins can fly, they will just as soon as walk or run as use their wings. Taking down prey can be fast, more efficient if done on foot, where the constent and soemtimes unpredictable drafts of the underdark and be dangerous.

Mage
LD, Lab Someone who has aquired magical power through parents. Often the limits of their abilities is learned quickly, with little room to improve unless mgical artifacts are used. Magi are more likely to experiment with human life forms, and become god-like in their own minds. Often, they seek to rule through manipulation, always staying in the shadows, making puppets out of kings and queens instead of ruling themselves. Secrecy is their defense. Often times their appearence seems ageless, but usually tend to be good looking, many well built in muscle and brain. There are exceptions to every rule. Some Magi are content to help those in need, and live a life of magical celebecy.

Wizard
LD, Lab Someone who as aquired magical power through intense study, a manifestion of pure will. Wizards are easier to see through, as they feel their studies have brought them above others, and one cannot simply see them for the show. They are more likely to take foolish risks, and work solo. They will reveal themselves early, thinking them are invulnerable, the key element to any army. Wizards oftend tend to be old, as their studies take large amounts of their life. As well as unsightly in face and body. Wizards are often the outcasts, those who could not find talent in any other subject, or were ridiculed by freind and family as children and young adults. There are of course, exceptions to every rul. There are some wizards who simply enjoy the ability to create, to help, and to heal.

Demi-Human Used by Az in Anorock A human animal hybrid that is biped and holds a general humanoid shape. Often, the qualities of the animal give this creature additional benefits such as wings that are capable of being used for flight or gills for breathing specific types of water. Generally speaking, these creatures have a skin texture similar to that of the animal, but occassionally they will be humans with animal features, such as a cat's ears and tail. This perticular race began to appear several thousands years ago, and no one is quite sure why. Naturally, it is assumed they are the result of some ancient experiment of either scientific or magical nature. For the majority of the species, they live in small enclaves in larger human or elvish cities and live generally ordinary lives. Due to their physical advantages, many join the military or law enforcement agencies. Some small malitia groups have formed to battle for a purely Demi-human homeland, but these groups have a tendency to be on the outside of Demi-human culture as a whole. The Demi-humans demonstrate a rather keen sense of nobility and a love of the simple life. Due to some racial laws in various parts of the world, some of the Demi-humans have become prominate members of secret orginizations or unlawful organized activities. Distinguished Demi-humans include many of the worlds greatest samuria and technical experts. The Wolves of the Northstar is a selective group of warrior monks who only allow Demi-humans with canine or wolf attributes into their ranks. They are orginized under a person who's identity is kept secret from the outside world. The Association of Bishi-Bishi was created to offer struggling Demi-humans finanical assistance and physical protection when they are oppressed by society as a whole. This organization opperates through Agents who are trained in both finances and martial arts. It is assumed that many vampire rumours are actually Demi-humans using traditional lore to strike at the human world, but this theory has very little supporting evidence.

Dragons
LD, in Lab Creatures made usually of two elements, often by a god, sometimes through magic. Size and shape appear to be random, although the bigger ones have mixtures of earth in their make-up. Never truly able to die, as their bodies are simply remade, their physical flesh is no stronger or weaker than any dragon is expected to be. It takes alot of power to pierce the hide of one, but through it off course and simple spells can easily take one down. They can move from human form, to dragon form, to elemental form. If voluntary, this transaction takes ten minutes. If involuntary, spit seconds, and is very painful. They cannot talk through any normal means. If possible, telepathy is used, if not, they speak in extrmely high pitched tones. Some elves, as well as those in tune with the Earth Mother, can hear this.

Sphinx
LD, in LAb Lion like bodies, short wings, and more often than not female head and breast. Tricky creatures, that like fresh meat, and enjoy playing with their food. They use psycologicle tactics to trip smarter prey and can manipulate small illusions. They are good fighters, and not affraid to take wounds. They are cocky and arrogant and soemtimes prideful. They are smart above all else, because of their..."human"...brain. They do not travel in packs, or with fellows, and are rarely seen co-existing with other species.
