Ardin
It was a nice partly cloudy day so Ardin decided to go to his favorite hill top over looking a calm river. Once he got there he surveyed the area and then laid on his back to gaze at the clouds that roamed the sky. It didn't take long for his mind to wonder with thoughts of the vixen he had recently met, Joou. He thought she was the most beautiful fox he'd ever seen. Her white coat shined of pearls with wispy colors of purple and blue that seemed to mimic movements of a flame. They had only spoke briefly a few times, but there was something about her that seemed to draw him in to know more about her. He wished he could see her again, he got nervous just thinking about her. Looking to the sky he thought of her blue and purple hair-the sky shared the same shade of blue that adorned her. He rolled over and looked down at the calm river and wondered to himself ~I wondered what Joou is doing...maybe I could find her....~ He mused to himself and with huff turned back over to stare at the sky.....day dreaming all the while

 Joou walked aimlessly in a slight huff. Things were to chaotic at home. Doku having kids!?! Him worring about them and her. Even though she was perfectly able to take care of herself he seemed to think of her as a kit. ~Whatever~ she thought. As she started to relax and wander she began to let her mind go. It picked random things to think about at first but after awhile it just kept going back to the very HOT black fox with whitish blue flames. ~Ardin~ she thought with a loving sigh. He was a gentalman and seemed to be protective or at least able to handle his own. He was certainly stuck on her mind. His flames entranced her but so did his lime green eyes. Just thinking about him made her feel warm inside. With that thought she took a step and accidently stepped in a river. That snapped her out of thoughts and she paused to take a drink.

His mind still on Joou he decided to make a move and try and find her. He had walked down to a smaller hill close to river he had been observing. As he walked down he heard a splash and looked to see what and who it was. ~Joou~. It was her, was this a coincident or fate? He didn't care, but now what to say to her. ~How should I approach her...what do I say...Why is this so Hard~ . He paced about thinking, he came to the realization that he needs to be himself. Feeling more confident and flames burning bright he went to walk down to the river when his foot hit a loose bit of dirt in the hill side. It shifted just enough to topple him down the hill and right towards the river. He rolled faster and faster until he caught a very small heal which launched him a few feet in the air. He flew through the air, flipping a few times and finally landed with a huge splash right in front of Joou. @_@

As Joou was drinking from the water her ear's twitched alearting her to a sound. It sounded like rocks falling and something more. Just as Joou looked up something fell into the river right infront of her. Scaring her she jumped back and growled at it. Joou was on the defense with hackles raised, teeth bared, and growling till she realized that it was Ardin. She quickly stopped her behavior and went to check on him. "Are you ok?" she asked.

Ardin was dizzy and wet, but he heard a familiar voice. "Joou!! I um..ya Im good." He rolled over and tried to get back up to his feet, but his feet didn't agree and he fell with another splash in the water again. His face was flushed as he looked up into Joou's eyes and smiled a some-what goofy smile. "Maybe I'll sit here for a few more minutes" He let a small laugh out as he looked at her again getting mesmerized by her green eyes. Before he knew it he blurted out what he was thinking, "You are beautiful!" Realizing what he said he jumped to his feet and leaped out of the water, jumping right over Joou's head. He stood a few feet behind her, facing the other way, head held down. He'd never felt more embarrassed in his life

Joou watched him fall back into the water and giggled a little finding him funny. He suddenly blurted out that he thought she was beautiful and than jumped over her. She stood there in slight shock. No way did he just say that. She most have heard wrong. Turning to him she asked "Did you just say I'm beautiful?"

Ardin held his head down as she turned and spoke to him, he mentally slapped himself ~calm down, be yourself, Snap out of it and Be Yourself~. He slowly straightened his shoulders and held his head high. When he turned to her he took in a big breath and slowly let it out. He was still blushing a bit but his expression now stern and serious. "Yes. Joou...I find you to be very beautiful, the most beautiful vixen I've ever seen. I want you to know that." , he lowered his head just a little bit, and became more relaxed. He finally said it straight out and now a smile of embarrassment and relief adorned his face. And he hoped he now hadn't scared her off.

Joou watched Ardin behavior as he spoke. The boy was certainly nervous. ~He keeps putting his head down, that just wont do~she thought while walking up to him. She gave him a kiss and said "I'm glad you think that."Shoving her head under his chin she rubbed her body against his chin. From the tip of her nose to the flip of her tail."You are the most handsomest captivating fox I have ever meet. I really like being around you."

Ardin's fur stood on end as she passed under his chin. He was still blushing like mad and shaking a bit from nerves. He finally snapped himself out of his nerves and shook his head. "I've decided something, Im no longer going to let my nerves get to me around you, I shall embrace my feelings and no longer hesitate....I hope.", he said in a stern voice, but then started laughing as he knew it sounded weird and maybe corny. He looked at her though with serious eyes and gave her a light kiss and had a gentle expression on his face as he spoke, "I know that sounded corny, but I do mean it. I like you a lot, and I love being around you. Im calmer and more at peace. I get lost in your beautiful green eyes and your wonderful smile. I may sound cheesy but, I would like to take you out on a date. If you would oblige." He gave a slight bow at the end of his words but you could see his confidence. True he was still nervous and embarrassed for he thought he sounded, but he meant and hoped she would agree. He sat tall as he looked into her beautiful eyes, awaiting her answer.

Joou had to giggle "Maybe that did sound a little corny but not to bad where it makes everything like ugh."She said while smiling. She blushed as he kissed her. Her face going red, she dipped her head down to kind of hide."Yes I will go on a date with you Ardin" with that she gave him a kiss and rubbed herself into his chest.

Ardin laughed a bit goofy as she agreed it was kinda corny, but not overly so. When she said she'd go on a date with him he thought his heart was going to leap out of his chest. His fur stood on end when she snugged into his chest. He leaned his head on hers and kissed it lightly. "So, where you like to go on our date?", he asked with a small kind smile.

Joou smiled and leaned up more into the kiss. She was very much enjoying this."Any where you are is just fine with me" She said with a goofy lovestruck grin.

Ardin smiled a goofy smile and then backed up to look at her. "Well, then lets start now, I know where there are some berry bushes and a great view of the lake.", he said with a smile and placed a kiss on her cheek and held her tail with his as he started to walk from where he had earlier rolled down from. He chuckled at the thought of how he must of looked tumbling down the hill and continued walking up to the bigger cliff like hill that gave a great view over the small valley.

Joou followed still smiling to herself while in her head there was like a victory party going on. "Berries sound wonderful." she said than give him a quick peck and wrapped her tail around his and walked up the hill. Every once and awhile she would brush the back of his leg with her tail to see what he would do. As the reached the cliff edge she let go of his tail and jumped onto a rock jetting out of the cliff. With a devilish grin she turned to him and said "Catch me if you think you can." Shaking her tail at him she went bounding up the cliff.

Ardin's fur ruffled when Joou's tail brushed his leg. When they reached the top he smiled as Joou jumped on the rock on the cliff's edge. He stifled a laugh as she shook her tail and the jumped/bound down the cliff. She couldn't see his face but he had a devilish smirk as he followed her moments later. He thrust off the rock hard and landed right in front of her on the hill's face as they ran down. Gaining a little more of a lead he jumped a bit and turned around and quickly pounced on her as she continued to run, causing them both to go tumbling around as they reached the bottom of the hill. He made sure he ended up on top of her as they stopped tumbling near the water edge. When they stopped he looked in her eyes with slight amusement and kissed her passionately and then licked her nose with a smirk. "So how about those berries...?", he said panting with a slightly humorous tone.
