O'rer was no newcomer to that odd rumble that issued inside his chest as he awoke, the muggy air around him offering him no comfort against the urges he was feeling. Outside he could hear Hitath pacing in place, the sound of her wings beating against her body a tell-tell call for what he knew was coming and what he'd been dreading for the past sevenday or so. It was unavoidable no matter how much Hitath would apologize afterward, and O'rer had long since surrendered to the idea that no matter what happened, he was never the man in a Green's flight.
Still, now was not the time to think of this! Hitath's needs were growing stronger, her body glowing a bit more and more green with each passing moment. With a nod of his head in her direction the green took off towards the feeding grounds with a shriek and quickly downed the nearest buck, her mind being held by her rider to simply just...get it over with. The blooding was fast, she too was no newcomer to all of this, and with a defiant bugle to all males that may be around the small green launched herself into the air, ready to get away from those who dared give chase!
Reminder!
Green Hitath is a small green, so she will only be rolling 3 dice ( d20 )
Blue Opeth will roll 2 dice ( d20 )
Brown Tereth will roll 3 dice ( d20 )
The posting order will be Hitath, than whichever dragon enters the RP first. After that will be the second dragon, and then Hitath once more.
You must match all the numbers rolled by Hitath ( 6, 20, 1 ) to successfully catch her. The option for an after-Flight RP is allowed and encouraged, but not required.

It had been a nice trip off to the coast, but the moment they'd reappeared Xan felt her relaxed mood being snatched away from her. A green was about to rise. She was close enough that Opeth was no in the mood for speech: eyes whirling purple, he dived sharply and the moment he touched down he turned his head to growl at Xan.
Already feeling her sense of self going fuzzy around the edges, the black-haired woman unstrapped herself and slid to the ground. She had just managed to roughly haul the harness off her lifemate when the green took to the skies. Opeth answered her call and flung himself into the air, managing to knock Xan flat with one wing in the process.
As she became closer and closer to losing herself in her dragon, the blue rider climbed back to her feet and clenched her fists; go!

Tereth, along with many other males, had been watching the proddy Green as she made quick work of blooding her kill. Letting out a bugle of his own as she took off, the Brown immediately leapt into the air after her, beating his wings as hard and fast as his body allowed. He would win this one.

There was no chance, no chance that either of these males would dare lay claim to Hitath! As timid as she was, as gentle as she was, the moment her eyes turned to purple she was no one's friend, no one's ally. She cared only for the flight, only the thrill of the chase, and as she swung her head slightly to see those who were coming after her she hissed in disapproval.
No brown! No blue! Neither would have her!
With a daring drop of her wings she stopped in her flight and dropped beneath a few that passed over her, the small green reversing in flight with an amused chuckle.

Opeth growled his frustration as the small female spun away from him, twisting sharply to chase after her; he was not giving up so easily! She would be his!

This Green was good. Tereth was suitably impressed by the maneuver, but that didn't mean he had any plans of giving up. Not by far. He may not have been quite as agile as some of the males giving chase, but he could still move quite well. It didn't take too much effort to turn back around and continue the chase.

Hitath moved to pull herself up into the air, surprised at how easily she was getting away from her pursuers. Perhaps it was her age and experience that allowed her such progress, or perhaps it was the size of those chasing her. Small dragons were often caught quickly and Hitath was no exception to that rule - though she liked to make whomever held her work for that.

Another blue almost crashed into him. Opeth bared his fangs; nobody got in his way! Snapping his teeth just a hair's breadth from the other male's neck he swerved sharply and shot on after the elusive green; he would have her yet!

Tereth watched with mild amusement as Opeth snapped at another Blue. Admittedly though he didn't like how close the other was getting to the Green and put a bit more power behind his own flight to move in. He wasn't going to let any other male win this easily.

Hitath wasn't paying attention to what was going on behind her (much) as he only goal was to get higher and further. While it may have seemed like she was doing well she could feel the heat of other dragons and hear their wings far too close for her comfort. It seemed as those two were pulling away from the group and getting close.
No, no! Hitath would not allow this! Take another dive downward she spun herself at an angle, diverting once again away from the group.

For a moment she was right next to him. By the time he realized it, however, she was long gone. Bellowing furiously Opeth gave chase, and this time it was his turn to almost bash into that other blue. He snapped his teeth at the idiot again for good measure as he passed; he would not be beaten!

This time Tereth was more prepared for it. He watched as the Green made the sharp downward dive and followed after her. The Blues were getting far too close now though, and the Brown bellowed furiously as he sped to catch up. He may have been stronger, but his size was a disadvantage here in this contest of agility.

No, no no no!
That one blue, the angry blue was drawing closer! With each beat of his wings he carried himself closer to Hitath and closer to ending the race, and the green herself hissed in protest as she used what little energy she had left to propel herself forward. She had to get away, even if that brown was still in the race and coming for her! She would not be caught this soon, not this easily!

Closer, closer, closer! He was ahead, maybe by no more than a nose but he was sure he was ahead. He would have her, he would! Ignoring the weariness that was growing in his wings, Opeth shot onward.

It was getting close now. The female's stamina likely woudn't be lasting much longer, so Tereth needed to catch her now if he didn't want Opeth to get to her first. Pushing his way forward, Tereth starting flying above the competition, preparing to dive down for a capture.
