Namhias had been flying for too long today, and decided it was a good time to walk. He had landed already, and been wandering around with no real direction at hand. It was a fine day, or at least in his opinion. Not a cloud in the sky, and everything was fairly warm, but not too warm. It was a excellent day for a flight. As well as, a walk. He adjusted his wings to his side every few steps. It came naturally to him and he never really noticed he was doing it.
He flicked his braided tail as he walked in an open field. He seemed to shimmer in the light, which made him look even more bright then he already was. Brilliant shades of blue, green, and oranges sparkled threw his body. He had a smile upon his face, rarely was anything else on it. His horn stood out nicely, it's silver seemed to reflect the sun on it making him more noticeable.

Today was an overwhelming day. Marsiela was told that her younger sibling were expected to emerge from their baskets anytime today and she went out to expel some excess energy before they did. There was no guarantee all that energy wouldn't come back when she does see the foals though.
Reaching an open field, she skipped about, purposely disturbing any insects she came across to watch them skitter, hop or flutter away with a giggle. Watching some butterflies flit away, unaware of a few landing on her tail, she spotted something that had seemed to shine. "What's that?" She asked herself, tilting her head slightly before making her way to the object.

Namhias didn't notice anything at all. He was busy watching the ground for anything interesting as he stepped. He didn't want to step on some thing. And he was so use to flying, it was hard not to worry about stopping on a harmless little bug, or some other small creature. He almost felt ashamed of not being in the air. Oh well, at least he needed to get use to taking a stroll on foot. His mate was a unicorn, and lacked wings.
Which was a huge adjustment for him, but he was positive he could do it. He smiled as he avoided some bugs walking on the ground. He had to learn to walk and not watch his feet, but he didn't know how he'd do that without Iro's help. He wanted to do it before she found that he didn't walk much on the ground unless he had to. "hmmmm.... Now go away little bugs, I want to walk here."

Marsiela didn't show such restraint about where she stepped, as she got closer to what she now saw was another soquili. Seeing this, she smiled greatly and started to run toward the other horse, causing most of the butterflies on her tail to flutter off. A few re-landed for a brief moment, before also, eventually flying away.
Getting even closer, the small mare could start telling that the other was a stallion. But, something was odd. He had feathered wings, which she has always admired, but he also seemed to have a strange thing on his forehead. She was curious about it, but perhaps she can ask later. Just a short distance away from him, she heard him talking to the bugs and giggled. "You know, they'll move away on their own... they'll stay out of your way!"

Namhias looked up at the voice speaking to him, he figured. "I've tried that once, and stepped on one. " It wasn't a pretty thing, and he didn't plan on doing it again. At least not knowingly. He knew that chances are he would step on tons of them. Especially when he galloped through the grass... BUT if he could prevent it, he was going to. "Plus, it's a pretty little guy" He said looking back towards the colorful thing. He wasn't sure what it was, but he suppose it didn't matter at all.
He looked back at her and moved around the bug to where she was. He'd never seen such a short mare before, then again, he was relatively tall and only really knew his family. "I'm Namhias!" He said. His fur sparkled rather greatly when the sun shined on it. He was happy to meet another, though she was odd. She wore cloth like a two-legger. He'd never seen a horse do such a silly thing.

She looked at the insect that he was previously admiring for a moment before looking back to him. "It's bound to happen you know. They're really small and hard to see." She said, her tail flicking softly. "You shouldn't take it so hard though as long as you knew it was an accident. I think one could go insane if they fret over stepping on every single bug." She added, looking back to the insect when he mentioned how pretty it was, she having to nod in agreement.
When he moved around the bug to walk over to her, she couldn't help but have a small giggle, but it was more for meeting a new soquili than him still trying to avoid squishing a bug. She craned her neck to look at him, but she seemed to have to do this a lot with other soquili she met. It seems her parents had to be rather small themselves, since she never had to strain to look at them really. She didn't mind, everyone was different after all. When it came to the stallion, he was very sparkly and had to wonder if he was covered in that dust moths seemed to be covered in. At his introduction, she bowed her head. "It's nice to meet you Namhias. I'm Marsiela Elric."
