(This is for the evil things Suto plans for Blade. bwahahahaha!)
Well, it seemed that Shun had done his job and had brought back a number of people. In all honesty, Suto was beginning to think having Mitsu back was hoping too much. But she had been brought back and with two others none the less! While the girls were being secured in a room upstairs, Suto had the young man brought downstairs and taken to a smaller lab. The room was cold and rather empty outside of a few things leaving the young man strapped to the table in the middle to stick out like a sore thumb.
Circling the boy for a moment, Suto looked him over. He appeared to be human, which was rather boring and useless, but there was something that smelled familiar about him. The normal metallic smell of human blood seemed to be tainted by something else...something ancient. "You smell of dragons." Suto smiled as he leaned over the unconscious boy. The smell of dragon was faint but it was there. Suto would know that retched aroma anywhere. Curiosity brought him to tilt his head slightly to look at the wound at the boy's left side. Deep cut to the ribs it appeared. He wondered how deep it went. "Let's explore shall we?" Bringing nimble fingers up he pulled away the tattered material around the wound and began to press a finger against it. It still seemed so fresh, so vivid. Suto could almost imagine how it was done.

Travelling through the cold wasteland was rather taxing for the already wounded thief. Even though he was carried on the horse throughout the entire journey, his body just wasn't quite able to take everything. At some point, he had passed out, unable to bear the cold. At least his captor had helped him fight off hypothermia to some extent, much to Shun's distaste.
With the lab itself being fairly cold, there was little doubt that Blade would have remained unconscious for a good while longer. That is, until the scientist nearby decided to literally prod the wound.
As pain shot through his body, he woke up with a start, letting out a shout while he was at it. It took a moment or so for his vision to come to focus. Gasping from pain, his dark red eyes stared up at what appeared to be... a doctor? He quickly glanced around at the rather bare room. This.. didn't seem like a hospital. The thief tried to move, only to find that he was being strapped down as well, and as soon as he realized this, the somewhat vacant and confused stare he had quickly turned into a glare.
"Untie me," he growled through gritted teeth. It was cold, he was in pain, and he was tied down. By no means was he very happy with this situation.

"Untie you?" Suto mused, finger poised over the wound at Blade's side. "Why on earth would I do a thing like that?" Putting a little pressure on the wound Suto could feel the warm liquid of Blade's life blood run over his finger tips. It was a sensation like no other. "You are part dragon, yes? I'm not just imagining that you smell different? Of course, I could always find out on my own."

With his wound reopened from the 'doctor' pressing and prodding it, Blade tensed him quite a bit. Beads of cold sweat began to form at his brow while he stared daggers at the man. For a moment his eyes widened when it seemed he was able to tell what he was just from smell. He was starting to get a horrid feeling about all of this, if this scenario hadn't been bad enough already.
"...And if I am?" he asked between breaths. His heritage was not something he revealed or admitted openly as it had a tendency to get him into trouble more often than not.

Suto chuckled and it was no normal chuckle. It was simple yet sadistic, something that would bring nightmares to small children. "Well, my boy, you may be in for a world of pain." Suto gave one last lingering prod to the wound before he drew back his hand and tapped his chin thoughtfully, leaving a bloody smear on his pale skin. With a smile he turned to pull up a chair, taking a seat as he looked at Blade with an expectant gaze. The glare the boy was giving him only seemed to delight him more. "I think we should play a game. It's a simple game really though there are a few rules. I ask you a question and you simply answer. If I think you are lying or you don't answer...well....you'll find out if that happens." His smile was one that promised pain, pain he would enjoy dishing out. "We'll start off simple. What is your name?"

A chill ran down the spine of the thief when he heard that chuckle. This was no doctor by any means. And in his hazy mind, he recalled a few details here and there. Was this the one that wanted Mitsu?
At least the guy stopped poking the open wound. No doubt it was bleeding rather freely again though.
Narrowing his eyes, he regarded the man with silence. He was not going to be playing these games. If he could help it, Blade was not going to be at all very cooperative while he was like this. Oh how he hated being restrained.

With a roll of his eyes Suto stood to his feet. Men were always so much harder to crack. It was bothersome really. With a quick look over the room Suto stepped toward one of the cabinets and pulled a drawer open. Inside he found a number of tools to which might be useful. "Ah, I think this will do." Withdrawing what looked like a hooked scalpel, Suto made his way back to Blade, the light reflecting off his glasses to prevent his eyes from being seen. To bad the smile that was on his face was as clear as a bell. "It looks like the wound at your side is pretty deep. We may need to investigate to make sure nothing important was hit." There was no gentle prodding or careful consideration to vital areas. Suto simply plunged the blade in to the hilt and started to pull. The hook on the scalpel caught and tore as it moved.

Blade tried to see what Suto was doing when he walked off to one of the cabinets, but being strapped down like he was, it was no use. However, it soon became rather clear what he was up to.
"Don't you dare to-- AAAAAHHHHHHGGG!!"
His warning was soon replaced with a scream. Any color that was left in his face earlier had likely drained now, leaving him ghostly pale. Writhing in place, he futility fought against the restraints that held him down.
"I-if you let... me go.. I just might tell you..." he gasped. The pain was mind-numbing, but he was still determined to give this man nothing.

"Hmm," Suto seemed to pause in his work, if only for a moment, as if thinking that over. It was a mockery, but why not play it up. "No, I don't think that will do." He withdrew the blade a bit to admire his work. Like a painter would examine his brush strokes. "You know what this needs," He brought down his hand and began to move it up into Blade's wound hooking a finger forcefully around a smaller rib. He gave that rib a testing tug before he continued. "I think Toxoplasmosis would work wonders. If you've been around the sick you may have heard it called Parasitic pneumonia. In case your wondering, its a delightful little creature that likes to make its way the to brain, eyes, heart and lungs. Its not entirely fatal....to someone healthy, but it can be rather unpleasant as it causes blindness, neurological problems, respiratory problems only to name a few. Its also very hard to get rid of." Suto smiled as he withdrew his hand. "Should I fetch that?"

More cries escaped Blade as the twisted man jammed a finger into his body and he nearly passed out again in the process. At this point he was shaking, though not necessarily from fear. The intense pain coupled with blood loss and the constant tension in his body left him rather weak.
However, the thing the man suggested did strike a bit of fear into his heart. Being robbed of his sight was not something he fancied at all. Not to mention... it would mess with him over all. The thief would likely rather die than end up as some helpless living lump of flesh for the rest of his life.
"..B..Blade..." he finally uttered. Why was this man doing this? What did he want from him exactly? Similar questions raced through his mind as he tried to deal with everything going on.

"Ah, excellent," Suto once again took a seat trying to narrow down what it had been that had bothered the boy the most. He would have to use it again. It obviously wasn't the pain, Blade, seemed to manage that well enough. It had been something in his explanation of what the parasite could do. Thoughtful he could narrow it down to two things that stuck out the most, blindness and neurological problems, both were crippling and hard to deal with while respiratory problems could be managed. "Blade it is then. We'll save the last name though if you have dragon heritage I may be able to wager a guess. It could be a fun game for later." He smiled. "How about where you lived. Tell me about that. The area you were in, the people. What were you exposed to?"

Blade relaxed only a little as the man seated himself once more. His breathing was still rather heavy and he was still shaky, but at least he wasn't being probed so much physically. Instead Suto was probing around for personal information. It wasn't easy to do, considering how reserved he normally was, but for now he would speak to some extent.
"Town southwest..." he started, having some difficulty speaking at the moment, "Midsized... h-human population... with some nonhuman visitors... "
There was some bare boned information, but it was the truth. Aside from the place's tolerance for nonhumans, there wasn't anything exceedingly special of his place of birth.

Suto nodded some, though the answer was vague. He would have to remember to prevent that in the future. Vague answers were really of little use. "I see. Well, obviously the population wasn't entirely human. What of your parents?" In a fit of boredom Suto twirled the scalpel between his fingers, the blood from the blade traveling freely down his hand. He paid it little mind, however, as he looked at Blade with a thoughtful stare.

Slowly, he was getting his breath back, making it a bit easier to talk. With the new question springing up, he narrowed his eyes while trying to think of how he could answer. A confirmation of his draconic heritage seemed to bode ill things for him so he wanted to try and keep it under wraps if possible.
While he thought, he remembered a few other things. Where were the others? ... Were there others? He was either unconscious or out of it throughout the journey and he had little idea of how long it has been so he wasn't certain if anyone had managed to get away.
Before he started to speak up again, he heard a soft dripping. Most likely it was his own blood leaking onto the floor.
"Mother was human.. father had something else... don't know what it was."

"Something else indeed," Suto smiled. This boy knew well enough what he was, him trying to hide the fact only seemed to confirm his suspicions. Standing to his feet once again Suto paced the room in a thoughtful manner before he turned back to the boy with a declaration. "I will need to retrieve a few things, sit tight." Looking at the blood dripping down the table and onto the floor Suto decided to collect a sample before he left. Pulling out an empty syringe he moved toward Blade but instead of drawing bloody from an already bloody area, Suto jabbed the needle into the boy's upper arm and drew blood from there. With a smile he drew back the full syringe and pocketed it. "I won't be long." Taking his leave for the moment he left the boy alone to only hear the beep of the door as it locked behind him.
