On D2 i am somewhat a newb. I have a lvl 23 pally that focuses on thorns and zeal. I don't know any other good combos. could anyone give me some tips for a necro.

Good necro build.
20 bone spear
20 bone spirit
20 bone wall
20 Teeth
None into bone prison if you want to use the marrowalk glitch, if not then 20 aswell.
Poison necro
20 poison nova
20 poison dagger
20 poison explosion
Lots into lower res
If you want me to go into details like strength and stuff just ask.

Well I understand basically what skills to go up on and stuff but it's the starting out part I'm having trouble with. I usually do a trial and error and delet my character at lvl 20. Which I know isn't really enough to test but i am trying to find out the best combos for a starter character.

Yeah its bone spirit. I have never gotten to use it tho. And bone spear is great for taking care of fetishes.

Teeth can be pretty good, my old necro did over 1k damage with teeth, and bone spirit is very good for sorcs and those who run fast. Plus, both are synergies to bone spirit.

i make pallys for a living on this game and some of the best comdos r
fan-zeal = uber fast and strong!
holyshoeld-smite = 13k with good shield and both maxed!
thorns-blesed hamer = <--ive never tryed that 1 so im not shor if it works
and more but those r the best!

masterapollo holyshoeld-smite = 13k with good shield and both maxed! dont know where u got that from, but thats not even close to possible. A 4k smite is considered very high. 13k isnt feesible.

For 1 hybrids suck in 1.10, and bone spear is like the best dueling attack along with teeth, bone spirit has nice damage but isnt that great for dueling ocnsidering all you ahve to do is tele away, bone spear is fast moving and has nice damage, teeth is a nice attack as well for it goe about everywhere and is hard to avoid, and it can do around 1k without the perf necro gear. and its a synergie to bone spear surprised

KyleHereWantsToSk8 bone spirit has nice damage but isnt that great for dueling ocnsidering all you ahve to do is tele away you so underestimate the immense power of invisible bone spirits (IBS)
