Aku Shishio, a demon straight from hell, has possessed Kenji through his anger, and lack of self control. This is where he lurks. It is a dark underground channel that runs from the dungeon of the high school, to the end of Sandankyo Gorge. Its large tunnels are all over, underneath Okumura.

Aku sat in the deepest darkest point of his underground labyrinth. He saw Kenji take Koume, and he laughed as the boy grew closer. He could already taste the girls soul.
Kenji ran into the hideout, Koume over his shoulder. "Very well done, Kenji, you made your master very happy." Aku says with an evil grin. "Thank you Aku-sensai. I hope her soul feeds you well." They both start to laugh evilly.

Koume continued to struggle. She was crying. "Let go, you b*****d!!" She screamed, then bit Kenji's neck.
Kenji dropped her and grabbed his neck, where blood was now trickling out. "You wench! I would end you now, if you weren't Aku-Sensai's dinner!" Kenji Yelled. Aku chuckled, then in a serious tone said, "Come now, we must prepare the meal, begin the chant. I will light the candles, and draw the sacred star."

Koume hissed at Kenji and quickly struggled to her feet. She began to run, run from the monsters behind her. Naiari... Aunt Naori... Someone... Help me! She thought as the tears overflowed her eyes.
"Kage No Tanken!" Kenji shot at Koume. Instantly a shadow dagger was thrown at Koume's back.

Koume looked back at Kenji's chant. She saw a dagger heading her way and she panicked. She turned back to the way she was running and closed her eyes. She tripped over a rock, by candles. The dagger had cut her shoulder though. Koume continued to cry. "What did I do to deserve this?!?"
"Ahhh is it not the little hero? Has he come to save the day? or has he came her to die? Let's find out!" Aku disappeared and then re-appeared behind Miki. stabbing him in the back, right on his right shoulder blade, just missing his heart.

Naiari's eyes widened, her eyes filled with tears again. She jumped out of Miki's arms and slapped the man away. "Get away from him!!" She yelled.
Koume stared. She didn't move; she was too scared.
Aku stumbled from the blow. His eyes burned with fury. Miki fell to one knee. "Nairai, i need you to get your cousin out of here.... I will take care of these monsters....." Miki coughed up blood.
