~"The Hunt.....is ON."~
Here, in the Karakura town square, two Adujchas level Hollows were spotted in the area by one of the Seireitei patrols. However, the Hollows proved strong enough to defeat the entire patrol, the member who came to report died of fatal injuries only hours after his return to Soul Society. In this time of emergency, Divisions Ten and Thirteen have been dispatched to eliminate the two Hollow threats, and return safely to the Soul Society. For this mission, the Vice Captain of the Thirteenth Division and the Tenth Division have also been assigned to accompany the group in case the danger becomes too great for the other members. These two Shinigami will arrive shortly. For now, your assignment is to continue without them, and find the Hollows as quickly as possible. You have permission to engage the enemy without the commanders' presence.

~"Devora, the Controlled Catastrophe."~ (Adujchas level Hollow) Devora, the first of the two Adujchas, let out a devilish laugh, raising his head to the sky as a sphere of green energy began to take form just outside his mouth. "Puny humans.....I will devour you ALL!" His wicked power took the shape of a powerful, green Cero, that erupted into the air. As it soared into the sky, it parted the clouds, and burst into a powerful explosion as soon as it hit the densest part of the atmosphere. Devora was the smaller of the two Adujchas; lean and somewhat muscular, Devora was obviously more built for speed than his counterpart. However, it didn't seem like his ally was being very active in destruction at the moment, and the Hollow took it upon himself to cause as much mayhem as possible. Using one of his arms, he tore a lamp post from its position on the ground, and began to swing it at random passerby, feigning the image of a haunted lamp post or a ghost attack to those not spiritually aware. If the Shinigami didn't arrive on the scene quickly, it would spell disaster for the humans in Karakura.

"Wo-ho!" Orsumil leapt onto the scene of the incident with enthusiasm. Unfortunate as it was that his teammates weren't here yet he still might as well have a crack at it and he had someone along to keep him company. Someone he'd only just discovered and that liked talking. A lot.
"When are you eating? I'm hungry." His Zanpakto chimed to him in a girlish metallic voice. For someone who liked to eat so much it was amazing that she remained so clearly physically fit. It probably had something to do with the fact she was a spirit in a sword and didn't actually physically eat; merely moan like she was a real human.
"We'll get somethin-" Orsumil's eyes darted over to the huge green pillar of energy. These Hollows weren't going to be quiet about their business were they? Considering they were apparently able to challenge a Captain from what Orsumil had been told in Shinigami School then this wasn't a surprise. They had no reason to worry.
"Shall we talk about it later?" The blade said; a hint of annoyance in it's voice.
"Yeah. I think we should."
Orsumil ran closer to the source of the huge green beam of light. There he could finally see the Aduchjas. Its spiritual pressure far more threatening up close like this.
"Hoo boy. This one's going to be a toughie." "I realised." Orsumil said. Gulping down each and every breath of air like it was his last.
Not much to do here. He might as well begin the attack and get it's attention.
"Hado number 4. Byakurai." He stated cleanly and pointed his index finger at the Aduchjas. A thin beam of blue lightning shot from his finger and at the Hollow. Obviously, as it was a fast Hollow, it should have been able to avoid the attack or maybe it'd be entirely useless. Who knew? The aim was to get its attention. Not to kill it.

Takeru walked into the area and looked upon the adujchas, then looked over to a shinigami that had fired Hadou Four at it. He had not recognized this man, so he came to the conclusion that he was from Squad Thirteen. Takeru had his dual zanpaktou drawn, the one in his right hand rested on his shoulder while the zanpaktou in his left hand nearly touched the floor. Nearly his entired body was bandaged from his training session with Kasen, but he was up for the mission. He grinned as he watching the Hadou shoot toward the adujchas. "Well I guess its show time, lets see how the adujchas reacts to two Kidou." He said as he pointed his index finger toward the adujchas. "Hadou Four, Byakurai." A concentrated bolt of white lightning shot out of his finger and fired toward the adujchas.

Kyo showed up to see two shinigami fire kido at the Adjuchas. He recognized Takeru from his own division, the other must be from the 13th division.
"This will be a difficult fight, we must be careful." Kyo's zanpakuto spoke as he released its shikai, the twin swords shaped like thunderbolts reached towards the ground as he held them loosely.
"I know." he responded, he wasnt sure how to proceed though so he figured he would follow the other's suits. "Hado #4: Byakurai!" he spoke calmly as he raised his right index finger at the hollow, a burst of blue lightning shot joined the other two as it hurdled towards the Adjuchas.

Nexo walked into the area to see already the action beginning as he saw a person he hadn't recognized releasing a kido at the hollow as he saw another doing the same as he realized it was a member from his own squad, however he hadn't quite remembered the name of the person. "Looks like the action had already began, a filthy beast that dares to attack humanity shouldn't exist..." Nexo thought to himself as he began raising his hand until he saw another shinigami fire a bolt of lightning using kido, however Nexo was going to be different as he realized the attacks could possibly miss as he began chanting a different kido than the other three. "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat! Bakudo #9, Geki!" Raising his other hand and opening his palms, a red light began engulfing the hollow as it would realize its body was becoming paralyzed by this red light, however Nexo didn't know if this would work against an adjuchas, for this was his first dealing with a hollow of such level.

Kasen sighed as he preferred taking time when dealing with hollows as he walked around remembering something about when the mission was assigned. Something about vice-captains being assigned to watch the squad members in case of an emergency, however he remembered he had none since theirs was gone now and there wasn't anyone to fill in the spot yet. Taking the idea out of his mind, Kasen continued walking about as he sensed an presence that was sinister and felt like a hollow's as he began quickening his pace as he sensed the hollow's presence becoming a horror to the people of the town. Looking up to see a cero being fired into the sky, Kasen changed his speed into a run as be began sensing a slowly growing number of people arriving at the scene as he was getting closer.
"A hollow, and from the feeling its not a normal one, possibly a Menos." Kasen thought to himself as the only hollows he knew that could use a cero were usually Menos hollow as he turned around a corner to see the hollow currently in combat already. "One, two, three, four... Four shinigami already here." Kasen counted as he realized he was already a little late, however he didn't take evasive action quite yet, though he could help them he noticed the shinigami were already having a fine start and realized five shinigami isn't necessary as he had no doubt that they could handle it. Unsheathing his zanpakuto, Kasen waited as he knew simply jumping in would be overkill and he preferred to let others finish what they started, besides he didn't wish to ruin their fun.

Learon: the Lancer (Adjuchas)
Thump, thump, thump.
Each step of the hollow shook the earth, causing windows to rattle in panes. Overhead wires vibrated with metallic twangs, as the birds that had landed shrieked in alarm and took off in a flutter of feathers. From behind a row of trees, Learon - the second Adjuchas responsible for the pandemonium that had racked the town of Karakura - emerged, its deformed, triangle-shaped mask leering at the Shinigami that had gathered. Standing on two, sturdy legs, it towered at almost Gillian height - strange for a hollow of Adjuchas level - dwarfing Devora considerably. Its long arms ended in claws each over five metres long, and it clenched them experimentally, before letting out a spine-chilling battle roar.
"Hehehe... not bad, little Shinigami. You're stronger than the ones before... you thought I wouldn't notice?" It drew a deep breath, flexing its claws in anticipation. "Delicious, delicious."
Drawing an arm back, it swiped at the group of Shinigami with a speed that didn't seem possible for its size.
"Savour every breath as your last, Shinigami-kun!"

William stepped through the gate to Earth with the others. It was his first time doing so and felt very much elated to see that he could return to Earth where his former life had left off. “Home…” he whispered while he instinctively began walking toward his home, completely forgetting about the mission he had been assigned. He was only a block from his house, so he slipped away from the preoccupied group of other Shinigami to visit it. He grabbed the key that he traditionally put under the flower pots of his neighbor’s house and was about to put it into the lock when the door opened. Shocked by the appearance of someone in his own home, he jumped back, dropping the key while he did so. “Wh-what’s going on? Wasn’t this my house?” A yawn in the back of his mind told him that Hantoresu, his Zanpakuto, had woken up. “You realize that you died in public right? They likely sold your house and everything in it as one of those fund-raisers the humans are so fond of.” The person picked up the key with curiosity and tried it in the lock. To their relief, it fit, and they called into the house that they didn’t need to get a second key made.
William was about to throw the person out of his way when his mind came to grips with the situation, “My previous life is over. I started a new one that I like just as much, if not more.” He looked down at his hands and in turn the swords attached to his forearms. He touched the feline ears on his head, felt the brush of his tail when they were at ease, and moved in the outfit that was now his uniform. “I’m on a mission in my new life, and I abandoned it to try and grasp the last threads of my old life. No, I am here for one reason and one reason only: to kill some Hollow.” “You talk too much,” Hantoresu told him with some annoyance while he back-tracked to the fight that was underway. Of all the Shinigami there, he only recognized Kasen from their sparring match a week or so ago.
He carefully observed his opponents; two Adjuchas as they were called. He was no match for them on his own, but that was not why he was here with so many others. Like a leopard stalking its prey, he carefully observed his opponents. He would not strike until he knew more about them. Consequentially, he stood about two hundred meters from them to watch and learn.

Zaine watched the unfolding events lazily, the shinigami had followed William when his had broken off from the group, he now watched the shinigami as he failed to realize he wouldn't be capable of returning to his life, and was speaking with his spirit (or it seemed that way at the least)) to Zaine's mild surprise, "He's progressing quite quickly, good to see he is starting to come into his powers with such ease." he mused to himself, looking back at the young man he felt a twinge a pity for him, the confusion was evident in his expression.
However his own spirits rose a bit as the other shinigami seemed to regain his sense and remembered what his new life was and the job accompanying it required of him, deciding that he was being rude by eavesdropping on his comrade he finally chose to speak up. "Ya know that you shouldn't talk to yourself like that, people may think you are crazy." he stated with a chuckle, hopping down from his perch on the building and approaching William with a grin, "I bet you scared the hell outta that guy when you opened the door like that, he can't see you after all." he said with a dry tone, now then since you are resolved to complete the mission now let's do what we came here for."
Zaine also stayed off a bit and looked to the Adjuchas, they were formidable indeed but the point of this mission was teamwork not just sheer overpowering might, something that the other shinigami may not have realized since they used a full on attack on one of the Adjuchas without first determining the location of the second, as Learon appeared one the scene with quaking steps and teeth rattling roar Zaine swore under his breath and saw that the creature was now attacking the small group with breathtaking speed. Pointing his left finger at the group he muttered, "Bakudo #39 Ensoken!" Summoning up a large shield of crimson and gold reiatsu to protect the shinigami, he began a sprint, holding the shield up until he was close enough to attack. After releasing the kidou it was up to the group to decide what to do, but Zaine was on the attack now. "Damn where are the higher ups?!" he swore as he formed his right hand into a clawed shape and summoned his attack, "Gale Song!" he commanded, firing off the five windwakers into the face of the giant creature.

Takeru looked back to see who had cast the Kidou to protect them. He became wide eyed when he saw it was Zaine. He hadn't seen Zaine since that day in the training grounds. He grinned, when the Kidou was lifted he jumped into the air to dodge the Adjuchas' attack. As he began to land he pointed his blades downward and thrusted them toward the arm of the Adjuchas, with all his strength and all his weight as he landed.

"Oh snap. Quick. Do something!" The sword said as Orsumil raised it up against the oncoming claw, it was all he could do, he knew no Kido to block it and there was no way he could active his Shikai in this short time frame. The answer was clear. He'd have to just take it head on. Hopefully the other Shinigami would provide some sort of resistance or stopping power.
The advice of the Hollow had been taken well. Orsumil was plenty prepared now to find his arms come flying straight off and his sword mangled.
Fortunately though, a large yellow disc decided to rear it's way into his view. Was this to be his saviour? It seemed so because it gave him a bit of extra time. He dived to the floor underneath where the claw could possibly hit and rolled to the side. The Kido shield might be able to slow the attack down but Orsumil had his doubts that it'd stop the attack completely.
Now. Out of harms way. Orsumil had time to plan.
"You know. Why don't we get acquainted." "That sounds like a wonderful idea." Orsumil replied, picking up the hint that she was dropping.
He hadn't tried his Shikai out yet and there was no better time than now to learn all it's powers. To get acquainted with it.
"Spin. Spin. Spin. Lunacy." The entire sword exploded in Orsumil's hand. The shards of it not cutting him strangely enough but that wasn't particularly amazing. It'd be more worrying if his own weapon could be used to kill him like that.
The two golden rings now in his hands, Orsumil prepared for his attack. He didn't know this thing's powers but he could start to get used to using it none the less.
He got one of the discs and threw it mightily as he could at Learon's face with the intent to rip through him in one go. The disc spun faster than Orsumil could've ever thrown it and was alike to a powerful razor blade. Easily able to cleave through flesh and bone.

Kyo was barely able to see the attack coming, much less guard against it. "Is this how it ends then?" he thought to himself, as the hollows claws raced towards him. he was suprised when the Kido shield appeared and blocked the attack, and looked around to see who had cast it. he saw a shinigami, who he thought was a member of his squad but he didnt know his name. "No time for idle thought, gotta get focused on the battle" he thought to himself as he started moving slightly away from the two hollows.
"Keep your focus, Kyo. I told you this would be difficult. You are not alone, so now is the time to see how well you can work with others." His sword growled at him.
"Yea yea yea, i know okay?" he grumbled at it as he gathered his reiatsu while taking stock of the two hollows and the positions of his allies.

~"Devora, the Controlled Catastrophe."~ (Adujchas level Hollow) Devora, upon noticing the multiple attacks aimed at him, merely chuckled and absorbed the first two Byakurai (Pad and Takeru), firing them back at their casters with an additional present of a Cero. Since the other two Shingami had not fired their Kidou until later, the Hollow was successfully able to move out of the way using his superior speed, leaping backward to avoid the attacks. After a somewhat gentle landing, Devora straightened his posture, and observed the area around him. After selecting his target, the Hollow opened his mouth, and fired a powerful green Cero straight at Kyo, who appeared to be retreating from the battle. Devora, certainly not a Hollow of mercy, wasn't about to let his prey get away so easily. The Shinigami would have to fight and struggle for their life to escape the captain class potential of the Adujchas. Some of these Shinigami, without their Shikai, were in terrible danger against the threat of these Hollows, and wouldn't hold out if their release-brandishing allies were to be defeated.

"Holy s**t. Orsumil. Go save him!" The Zanpakto snapped at it's partner, clearly pointing to Kyo who seemed to be unfortunate enough to be on the receiving end of a cero. A cero he probably wouldn't be able to outright block given the fact that an Aduchjas had Captain Class potential.
"Wha- but." Orsumil's question was silenced as one of the Zanpakto's two rings appeared back in his hand. He knew what to do now. His partner had confidence in his and her abilities so obviously she had a plan he didn't know about.
He ran in front of the assumed path of the cero, just before it was time to fire it off.
"Wait. What was I supposed to do?" "Just let the cero pass through me and aim the other at him!" "Holy s**t! Are you ma-!"
It was too late by that point though. Orsumil could only do as he'd been ordered. He held the disc up, expecting to find himself exploding for his team mate's sake.
His eyes were closed. Was he dead now? Well. That was besides the point since he was technically already dead. He opened his eyes slightly now, seeing that the green cero was rushing from the other ring towards the Hollow.
"What on Earth did you just?" "Oh nothing. I just redirected the cero." Lunacy politely explained to her stunned wielder. What a nasty girl she was. Always hiding secrets and being unhelpful.
"Couldn't you just tell me what you can do." "Nope."
