Glitches:
According to the GGN Guild Council, the thread disappearance IS a glitch. Also, there is a problem with requests so I have about 4/5 blank requests that cannot be deleted. VEIN. The PTB are working on it.

Need a current member to start and maintain a member birthday list. We'll need to have a new thread that will be stickied. We can do things like wrapped gifts from the guild or whatever, although this may be a future option, seeing that I don't have access to the guild account or anything. However, fanart and signs are welcome and individual member gifts are fine.
Duties:
Compile a list of active members' birthdays in first post.
Check the member log to see how many posts that member has, for the reason that people might post their birthday once and never post anywhere else in the guild.
Update the subject line to notify of a member birthday.
(FUTURE?) Send birthday gift wrapped (if possible? haven't used wrapping option yet) to member.
Any other ideas are welcome! This sounds like a fun, thing, no? Plus it's always nice to get recognition for your birthday. wink

Currently looking for 1 current/assigned moderator to handle fanart submissions and to maintain the Fanart thread. Although I would prefer current mods, if these positions aren't filled within the next 3 days, I may consider creating new mods.
In case you missed it, the fanart spotlight has started and submissions will be posted on the homepage. Please read the rules in the Official Fanart Thread for more information (which is still in need of updating).

Thanks to all our donators! I will need a moderator to keep track of the highest donators. Please send me a PM if you wish to do this (remember, you MUST be a current moderator!).
If you look at members, it says how much the member donated so now I just really need a more organized listing of top donators. Also if you could note how many times the member has donated that would be great.
Also, due to our current guild funds, I will lower the entry fee from 100g to 25g. There were some problems where applicants did not have enough gold to join. In the future, the entry fee may very well be eliminated. Please post your thoughts, if any.

STATUS: CLOSED
The guild council is in search of additional moderators. If you've read the rules, you know that only council can appoint the moderators and we are currently not accepting any requests. We hope to add more moderators by August 20th, so if you're interested do your best to show how good a mod you would be. Nalfein and I have already started monitoring members to see who displays mod potential. wink
Some of the qualifications we're looking for include:
1.) Availability: Members who frequent the guild are valuable in that they are able to monitor activity.
2.) Punctuation/Grammar: No slang, funky typing, chatspeak. We'd like to have moderators who are mature and literate. We're not asking for spelling bee champions, but just have decent grammar skills.
3.) Enthusiasm: Good participation, willingness to talk to other members, and an all around likable personality. At least enjoy the guild you're participating in!
4.) Trustworthy: Moderators have the ability to edit, delete, and lock threads as well as ban other members. We'd like someone who wouldn't abuse their privileges.
5.) Common Sense: At least have the ability to know when a thread is a repeat or just does not belong in this forum. If worse comes to worse, there is a questions and suggestions thread. All moderators should check that thread to address any member questions and problems.
