If it was practical it was in place... bed, laundry basket, book case, chairs, desk.
If it hadn't been for the movers they would probably still be fighting to get the bulk of the furniture put together. The instructions had been anything but helpful.
What wasn't done was the finishing touches, the decorations. Lucifel's mind had been spinning around various ideas all day. She wanted plants and a fountain among other things.
She was excited that the room she shared with Lily got to be any way they wanted it to be. So excited that she couldn't sit still. Even though it was late afternoon and everyone was pretty much exhausted she couldn't wait another day, let alone another minute.
"Now?" Lucifel asked. It hadn't been five minutes since she last asked.

Lily scratched her head a bit, looking from the other girl towards "their" room and back. Truly, with how much Lily slept over, it really was partly her room. And yet, she was pretty sure she dreaded the task of find decorations for the room. The girl really did care a lot about her best friend but Lucifel's taste was rather ridiculous, particularly when it came to room stuff.
With a sigh, the blue haired tot nodded, "K. Now we pick out fun stuff." she agreed - Lily always agreed. It wasn't that she wasn't enjoying herself but this was going to either get weird and crazy beyond belief or she'd get dragged around. What Lily didn't know what just how crazy.

Lucifel overly excited about the whole thing was oblivious to Lily's sigh or slight change in attitude. "Fun stuff!" She danced in place and clapped her hands.
"Come on. Come on. Let go find 'rents," she giggled and pulled her blue haired friend towards the door.
"Plants, fountain..." she spoke a mile a minute about all the things she wanted in their room. She took a deep breath when she finished. "What you want?" She said still talking pretty fast.

Lily was just nodding quietly at what her friend was saying before stopping, jerking back and staring at her. "whaaaaa? Felfel, what's you saying?" she asked, eyes wide with horror. The girl could NOT have just said anything fountain, right? In their BEDROOM?

Felfel frowned for a second as Lily second guessed her choices. "You know fountain... that thingy that has water," she was using her hands as she spoke to try and shape out what she was talking about.
"Did I say something wrong?" She smiled again though it wasn't one of her super, excited ones.

The blue haired tot was shocked, "Felfeeeeeel! That's not good for a room!" she half whined, "It's messy and gross and gets stuff all over the floor and it's cold and-and-" she leaned in close to whisper the next part, "-it makes you have to peeeee at night."
Why would you ever want a fountain in your room anyway, Lily wondered with a strange sigh. After all, what if someone stumbled in in the middle of the night and fell into it? That'd be bad!

"How fountain messy and gross? It just running water..." Lucifel was a little baffled by this. Then again she had never had a fountain so she was just going by what she saw... she didn't know anything about the upkeep.
"Really... fountain make you pees?" She questioned. She couldn't remember running water ever causing that problem for her... then again she had never had a fountain in her room.

Lily slapped her forehead as she'd seen her mother do at Greloren, "Feeeeeeeeelfeeeeeeeeeel. Water gets on some stuff and makes it get yucky! Didn't Mommy ever tell you why you don't leave your clothes in the washer all daaaaay?" The blue haired tot, had obviously asked Delucca about this before because Mommy always did get so busy on laundry day.
At this, the tot nodded, "Yes. Heard 'bout it from news peoples one day - Mommy was watchin. Say that runnin water sounds make you have to peeee, so if you hear it in your room while sleepin, you'll have to!" And that would just be yucky!

"We has maid. She do laundry and stuffs," Lucifel said with a small smile. She wasn't exactly what the lady did exactly but she knew that when she came she a very, very busy person.
"Big people know best I guess... No pee in bed... so I guess no fountain..." she didn't have the happiest of faces but she wasn't full blow disappointed or angry.
"Plants!" Lucifel chirped. She was already onto the next 'big' thing. "They pretty and smell good... I love plants!"

The blue haired tot put her head in her hands, "No, Felfel! Not more plants! No more! Too much!" she finally said, stomping a bit. Why did there always have to be SOMETHING? Couldn't they just have a nice room with some space to play and such?

Lucifel who had never seen anyone pitch a fit, let alone pitch one herself stared blankly at Lily. She was baffled by not only her best friends reaction to her request but to her lack of luck. Her luck had never failed her to get what she wanted...
Every ounce of energy seemed to have been zapped from Lucifel. There wasn't even a smile on her face as she continued to stare at Lily in silence for what must have been a good, solid four minutes.
"Not even tiny fake ones?" she said still straight faced. It was very evident that there was no trace of a smile. That she indeed was not holding back any form of her usual self.

Lily just couldn't take this anymore, collapsing to her knees and starting to cry. Why did FelFel just have to be so difficult about this? Why did there always have to be more and more things, more and more stuff or she just wasn't satisfied?
"Fine, FINE!" the girl sobbed, crying into her hands. "Stupid plants, do whatever! I don't care!"

"Are, are, are, are," Lucifel was starting off the sentence sounding like a broken record, "are, are, y-you say-ing th-at if I," she gulped, "dun't gives up, up the plants you no be my friend?"
She wasn't sure if she asked because she had felt it or if it was because that is how it most often happened on TV shows when people got into fights...
She sniffed as her lip quivered. She was fighting the urge to cry. She'd never, ever felt this way before... she was always over joyed, bubbly, happy, excited...
Her Lily was more important that some stupid plants. "No plants then," she said not even giving Lily the chance to answer her question. "We be happy together wif out them."

"No," Lily whimpered, "Still friends." she said softly.
It took a bit for the girl to calm down a bit and lean over to hug Lucifel. "FelFel friend, no matter what." she promised, snuggling the other girl. "We be happy." she agreed.
Lily'd never fought with her friend before and it was scary, leaving the tot needing to hug and snuggle up to her best friend. Why did this have to be so complicated?

"Friends," Lucifel giggled. It felt good to giggle. She hugged Lily tight as if her friend was going to disappear in a matter of seconds. "No fight no more!" She said firmly.
"So then what decorations Lyly want?"
