I think that one episode in the anime where black star and soul teamed up to fight death the kid proved that those two cannot work together . . . at least not well. They're excelent at fooling around and goofing off but there's a reason why black star is not soul's meister.

honstly i dont. think that soul and blackstar really dont have the focus to be partners, plus they cant make their souls compatable
