Anon stretched his arms over his head, hooking his shovel behind his neck and across his shoulders. It was life as usual; get up, work, go to the store, work some more, deal with the odd zombie outbreak, then sit in his crypt until morning came again. It was repetitive, but he didn't mind it whatsoever. Consistency was nice!

His stiff arms were getting sore, a good indication that he needed to stop for a moment. So he looked around, keeping the shovel hooked on his shoulders with his draping arms, and wandered away from the grave he was filling in to instead head out to the street, looking around the dark, empty place.

Bug woke up in a bush, did she fall asleep no the bump on her head reminded her that she failed at flying again and was knocked out from the fall. The little girl rubbed her head an looked up at the stars, and guessed it was night time. Her tummy rumbled, and she was hit with hunger so she moved to the street to look for a place to get food. There wasn't any really big bugs she could catch at night, she'd have to find a house or a person to feed her.

The ever-silent teen tilted his hooded head, spotting a little girl wander out from some bushes...and she was alone? Odd. Nobody let girls that small out, and he was pretty sure he'd never seen her before. Swinging the shovel from his shoulders, he sank the blade of it into the ground, deep enough to let it stand on it's own, and waved her over. It had to be dangerous for her to wander at night!

He knew his silence was a bit of a hinderance, and so he wandered closer, trying to make himself obvious to get her attention. Even the graveyard would be better than wandering the streets, and the graveyard often had zombies.

Bug saw the hooded man from a distance trying to get her attention. Could she trust this guy? Most people didn't wander the streets at night, Bug knew that much. Heck that's why Bug and Wei wandered the streets no one bothered them when they went digging in trash cans, oh thats where she could get some food.

As he tried to get closer to her, Bug made sure to step back into the light of the street lamp.

If he was a bad guy she was gonna figure out what he planed to do before he did it and possible screamed, that usually got other people to come to her aid.

Anon paused when the girl stepped back. Sure she stepped back into the light, but it was a streetlight; he'd never really had problems with street lights before, so long as he kept his head down a bit. Generally speaking, people usually stepped away when they were hesitant, and right now he somehow had to prove that he was actually a good guy, despite...everything.

Judging by her size, she would be young...maybe too young to know how to read? He'd try, but he didn't have high hopes for this. Hmph, what to do, what to do...oh! Holding up his hand to the girl, he gestured for 'one minute' by raising his index finger, then for 'stay there' by straightening his fingers out. Hoping she would still be there when he came back, he turned and ran back to the graveyard, heading to the building where the night crew took their breaks. A bit of searching awarded him an unopened chocolate bar, and with his peace offering he ran back to the street, looking around for the little girl, the bar in his gloved hand, already out and offered for her, whereever she should be.

Bug stood there, confused. How did Wei understand her when she only spoke to Wei in squawks. However she did it Bug obviously didn't have that power, she'd have to get Wei to teach her later.

When the guy ran off after some weird hand motions Bug paused and her mouth simply gaped open. was he for real?
The little urchin rubbed her head and looked longingly up at the tree.
The guy was gone maybe she'd try flying once more before looking for food. Bug flapped her wings slightly to give her a bit of lift each time she inched up the tree. It wasn't easy, it never was, but she made it to the branch she had perched on earlier that day. Before getting ready for "lift off" Bug saw a dark figure come bounding back, oh, it's that guy again. she thought while watching him come back into the light. He had something in his hand. The urchin eyed it, and knew she'd seen that wrapper before, it was sweet food!
Bug lost all interest in flying and jump off the branch with her landed spot targeted at to hooded guy.

Hey, where'd the little girl go? She was here when he left! He'd told her to stay put! What the hell! His free hand scratched the side of his hooded head when a rustling noise caught his attention. Somewhat looking up, he spotted the girl...who was flying at him?! Gah! How'd she get up there, and why was he right in her path? Panicking, Anon didn't have the time to catch her easily, and the force of her knocking into him made him stumble backwards into the dark, before falling back onto his rear. His arms were around her to protect her as he fell, holding her tightly against his chest. By some stroke of luck he managed to keep a hold of the bar AND his hood never once fell; it remained there, shadowing most of his face.

Once he realized they weren't moving anymore, he released his hold on her, his free hand moving to grip the rim of his hood, keeping it low since, well, the girl was right there. Hopefully she'd be okay...

Oh he caught me! After landing on top of the wordless man Bug looked up at him as she sat down hard onto his lap. He smelt funny and Bug's nose twitched at the scent. It was odd everything about this guy was odd, but he did have sweet food and that made him okay in her books. As long as it was for her that is.

Once he let go of her enough Bug reached for his hand with the chocolate bar in it and tried to pull it out of his grip.

Anon peeked at the girl from under his hood; well, she seemed okay. She probably smelt him though, but other than that...she seemed to be alright. A strange rush of air left him when she sat down hard on him, but otherwise made no sound; no distinguishable groans, no nothing, just the rush of air. His hand stayed holding his hood, but a little more loosely now, and his attention went to the chocolate bar that she was tugging at. Oh, was that why she tackled him from the tree? It was a peace offering, after all. His grip loosened on the bar, letting her wretch it from his grasp.

Still, he wasn't sure what to do. Should he get up? Should he stay sitting? She seemed comfortable in his lap, so...that works. He'd sit there, until she decided what to do next.

She managed to pull the bar free, or maybe he let go? It didn't matter anymore now that she had it. Bug ripped the wrapping off and scarfed it down. She made a very pleased 'Mmmm' and took no notice to the chocolate reminisce on her cheeks.

Bug looked wide eyed at the man and pressed her chocolate fingers onto his chest. He was hiding his face? Bug wanted to know why, but also wanted more food, preferably some more chocolate.

She once content to sit there and stare at him. He obviously could figure out she was hungry by just looking at her, so he must have been able to tell she wanted more.

From the shadow of his hood, he watched in wide-eyed shock over how quickly she hate the chocolate. Did...did all kids eat like that? He didn't...then again, he didn't eat. Ever. He cowered back from her when she leaned in really close; it made him so very uncomfortable...why did she insist on being that close? The chocolate on his hoody went unnoticed for now; he was too busy peeking out at the girl.

Moments passed, and she didn't move from him at all. In fact, she looked...expectant? Daring to move his gaze to the defeated wrapper, he worked hard to connect some dots. She...wanted more? Was still hungry? She was a remarkably light and skinny thing, but...she was also the first living small humanoid that he'd ever seen.

Sitting up, he hesitantly took her off of his lap, setting her down on the pavement beside him before getting to his feet. He didn't bother dusting himself off, but he did turn towards the graveyard, motioning for her to follow him, and occasionally looking over his shoulder to make sure she was duckling after him.

He was making a b-line to the employee building, where he could get her more food...and in a much safer place.

Minus the zombies.

It took a while for him to move, a little longer than Bug expected actually. And as he moved back Bug moved him closer. She wasn't gonna let him away that easy now that food was involved.

Bug shoulders sagged when the man lifted her off him. He was far more comfortable than the pavement. The little girl watched him raise off the ground and turn away from her. He made some jesters that could have meant she was suppose to follow him. Bug groaned and got to her feet she didn't want to move could he just carry her?

Bug ran after him after slowly getting up on her feet. When she finally was close enough she snagged the back of his pant leg. and saw the building he was aiming for, could more food be in there? She hoped so and buried her head into the back of his leg.

The groan was noted, as did the time it took her to get to her feet. Poor thing...but he honestly wasn't sure what to do about it, and at first the thought of carrying her didn't cross his mind at all. It wasn't until she startled him by gripping his pants did it cross his mind...and only then it was because this graveyard had the occasional zombie outbreak. She was much too small to easily fend off a grasping hand should one arise...

Biting his bottom lip, he stopped walking, turning awkwardly to grip her shoulder with a gloved hand, urging her out from behind him. Once she complied, he knelt down just enough to hook his hands against her sides and under her arms, hoisting her into the air as he stood. At first he just held her out at arms length, not sure how to proceed...and then he moved to sit her on his hip, like he'd seen some adults hold small children in the grocery store, or at a late night funeral or visit. Once he was sure he could hold her with one arm, his free arm went to hold the brim of his hood, making sure she couldn't flip it up on him, and made his way into the building, heading towards the kitchen.

Bug felt the kafuffle of the hood man that was made by her latching onto his pant leg. They walked for a moment and Bug could only feel where they were going by the beatings she was getting on her head from his movements forward.

They suddenly stopped, why Bug wondered. when the man gripped her shoulder Bug guessed he didn't like her on his pant leg anymore and moved away. The urchin was curious if she could convince him to carry her now and lifted her arms toward him. Bug reached and motioned with her feet that she wanted up.

OH GOOD! she thought when he'd knelt down and picked her up, But what was this posture, this was noway to carry her.

Bug frowned and went limp.

Once the man figured out that this wasn't the way to hold her and moved her to his side, she giggled a bit, and took in his smell by hugging close to him. It was an odd oder on Bug had never smelt before this man.

Bug started to cough a bit and her eyes were itchy?

Anon moved a little faster when she started to cough, thinking that it was too chilly or something out here for her. She was wearing a very loose top and shorts, after all. He never really got a good grasp on temperatures. Soon enough they were inside the employee area, and after bypassing the video game room, the Cadaver Teen put her back on her feet in the kitchen.

Then, for a moment, he just stared down at her, his hood still somehow shadowing his face. Well...this was a kitchen. What to do now baffled him. Should...should he make her a sandwich? Or...Or should he let her get something for herself? He didn't think he could ask her, so instead he just pointed at the fridge and hope she'd understand.
