Bug guessed it was time for... ugh supper? She never could figure out the proper order of things. People had the courtesy to remind her all the time, but that never stuck. The afternoon was out and it was getting hot outside.
Bug could smell in the distance something good, meat.
The little urchin came upon a building that had a similar style to it as her home. Bug creaked the door open to look in side, it smelt even better in there! Bug didn't want to open the door wide, so she just squeezed through her small opening and looked around for the source of the smell.
The place was pretty big, and but there were only a few people, none of them had the food Bug could smell though, it must have been in the back cooking.

Faris had for the most part been hiding in the kitchen but she had grown sick of the kitchen and wandered out for her lunch into the common room where the other sat and ate their meals. She had a plate filled with french fries and a nice big hamburger with cheese. Faris settled upon her seat and began to munch on a couple of fries. Her wings stretched a bit behind her as she leaned forward and slouched slightly to further hide her newest additions in her baggy and shapeless black shirt.
It baffled her mother at all the effort the girl put into hiding her chest but for now she didn't bother to correct the situation. Her daughter would get used to it in time.
The young Gargoyle gazed about the room thoughtfully as she contemplated what she would do after lunch other than doing yet more dishes and maybe helping to clean up after the lunch rush.

Bug sniffed the air and meandered past some tables and stopped. The smell had moved it was a few feet away at one of the tables now.The little girl walked over to the grey girl hunched over her food and stared over the edge of the table.
From what she could see it looked good, and smelt better. It was meat after all or at least it seemed to be meat. Bug's tummy growled at the temptation of a full stomach and Bug griped her little hands onto the table's edge. She thought about flying up and snatching the food from the girl's hands but noticed she had wings too. The grey girl was bigger than her so she probably was fast and probably could fly better than her too.
The little bird girl gave up on that Idea and instead let out a heavy hearted sigh in hopes to get the big girl's attention.

At first she didn't notice the girl as she picked another fry to meet its doom within the confines of her stomach. Faris' mind wandered over her options before she settled on practicing a little more later and...
Was that a sigh? Faris' eyes moved around herself a bit tensely thinking that perhaps another spirit invaded her home before she looked down and noticed large brown eyes staring at her. She had the most adorable little wings too! Eee~. She picked up a fry and offered it to the small girl with her eyebrow raised, "Hihis! Where is your momma or daddy? You hungry or some'in? I am sure the cooks will has your food out soon." Faris said encouragingly with a smile. The Gargoyle was under the mistaken impression that the child was a daughter of one of the patrons in the tavern.

She looked up into the green eyes of the girl when she noticed her. Her eyes widen when the girl started to pick up a fry and offered it to her.Bug grabbed and shoved the fry offering into her mouth quickly, it was good, but not what she really wanted.
Bug ignored the questions and forcefully jabbed a finger at the lady's burger and let out a whine.
Wei would've understood that she wanted the burger maybe this girl would know too.

She blinked as the small thing ravenously devoured the fry and then pointed at her burger and whined at her. Faris tilted her head a bit, as it didn't escape her that small thing ignored her questions but maybe she'd get what she wanted out of the girl if she gave her what she wanted. Instead of forcing the answer out of the smaller girl she moved and cut her burger in half and then offered it down to her. She was a little thing! Faris didn't think she'd be able to eat the whole burger.
"Theres, at least tells me your name." Faris said patiently not really upset about the girl's demanding behavior.

She did understand! she was as smart as her Boss after all!
The little girl's eyes perked up in joy and her mouth widened as she stuffed the half burger in her mouth whole. She chewed it only twice, no matter how many times she was told to chew her food more than that she didn't want to. Plus why should she have to when she was fine eating bones and metals without getting a tummy ache like Wei.
Bug eyed the girl's other half now, but guessed she could at least answer that question. "I'm Bug, that was good can I have more?" she asked this time around using her words, how grown up!

Faris was really quite impressed as she watched the girl eat the half, she even clapped her hands and uttered a small giggle. The small girl had Faris' full attention when she spoke, "Goods to meet ch'ya. I y'am Faris." The Gargoyle was more impressed when Bug asked her for more and simply just scooted the entire plate closer to the yellow girl's reach so she could just have the entire meal to herself. She could always get more to eat in the kitchen later.
By now the Gargoyle was figuring out that this girl was an urchin from the streets. No one was calling for Bug or looking for her.

Bug's smile grew very large, when she realized Faris liked the she ate. When the plate was moved closer Bug reached and pulled it off the table. Bug held it tightly, because some plates broke easy if they fell on the floor and then people got mad, and sometimes they didn't share anymore. With her one hand she held the plate tightly and used her tummy and the pressure of her hand to hold it in place while she scarfed down the rest of Faris' meal.
Bug looked up at Faris' wings as she place the plate back on the table. She stared with such intent she probably could have burned holes in them.

Faris let out a small giggle as the smaller girl scarfed down the meal without any sort of slowdown at all. "Yahs Bug! Show that food who is th' boss," she grinned a bit and then scooted the plate away from the edge when it was empty of food so that nothing would bump it and a waitress could come by and pluck it up without bumping into the girl or disturbing their little meeting they had going.
The Gargoyle blinked at Bug's intense stare at her or more specifically her wings and even turned a bit to look at them as well, "Wha? Did I gets somethings on them?"

"No"she said as she shook her head fiercely.
"They're so big, I wanna fly too!"she raised her arms in excitement.
"But all I seem to do is fall" Bug pouted, she believed her failure to fly had to be because she wasn't big enough, didn't stop her from climbing trees and jumping off them though.
Bug shuffled over to the seat next to Faris and climbed onto it, to get a closer view at the large wings. She wanted to touch them but was too nervous to actually do it. Instead she just held her hands inches away shaking with anticipation.

Faris laughed a little as she watched Bug and didn't even move away when the girl got closer.
"Mmmn, I cannots fly either. I am heavy likes the stones," she smiled ruefully as she explained while she watched the girl. Gently she extended a wing to where Bug can more easily touch it, "Goes 'head! I don't minds. Jus' be carefuls is all."
Mostly because the Gargoyle was rather ticklish the closer it got to the base of her wings and the shape and style of them also made the wings rather fragile. Despite of how rough she might be she always was careful about her wings.
"You'll fly one days Little Bug, I know you wills." She said encouragingly with a big grin. For the first time Faris could take her mind off of herself and her own woes since she grew.

Bug giggled and petted Faris' wing, they were a lot different than her own. Bug felt bad that Faris couldn't fly she was so nice, her wings had to be flawed, maybe she had problems growing them properly.
"What if we glue feathers on them?" Bug stared into Faris' eyes with glee, thinking she'd solved the girl's flying woes.
"Oh, I know I will too, Wei says so." Bug beamed. She was always encouraged she'd fly, it was just so hard getting her wings to work right.

Faris giggled a bit and shook her head a little, "I 'unnos if feathers are gonna help, sometimes it helps t'not be heavies, yis." the Gargoyle pointed out and let the girl pet at the wings. As long as the girl didn't do anything harmful it was all good.
"Ohs? Who is Wei?" She asked curiously taking an interest in the small girl's life and whoever was in it. It was good to hear that Bug wasn't completely on her own and that she was taken care of ... Hopefully.

"Why should that matter? I've got lots of feathers at home we could use" Bug didn't couldn't grasp weight and flying, telling her she was too heavy didn't mean anything, she knew planes were made of metal so they had to be be heavy. Hmm maybe feathers were the wrong approach. Bug patted Faris' wing softly before stroking her chin while contemplating. Bug's eyes squinted in thought, there had to be away to get Faris some lift.
The little girl gave up on her 'make Faris fly too' plan for the moment to answer the girls question.
"She's my boss! She's a dragon sort of, she always tells how but I can't remember, don'ttellherIforgotagain. And we live in the. Oh! SHE'S MAGIC she can move water it's cool" Bug almost slipped up and told someone where she lived again, she hoped covering it up with talking about Wei's powers was good distraction.
"Once there was this nasty guy and she beat him up using a fountain and another time we were in my friend Vance's house and we made a mess so she cleaned, Vance is a frog-boy, that's what Wei says, he eats bugs too Bug beamed and just stared at Faris, after her on slot of sentences.
