Cohete strolled down the street lazily. The sun was on his back, but the slight breeze made it bearable. A movement in the brush caught his attention.

Though he knew it was none of his business, he followed after the movement curiously. Strangely enough he found a large brown and white tabby tom with piercing yellow eyes. The tom sat straight like he was somebody, and faced him as though he had been waiting.

"Greetings," the tom said in such a proper manner, that Cohete had a feeling he belonged to some rich humans. Seeming to hear his thoughts, the tom flattened his ears as if insulted. "I am Stitchstar of the once mighty WillowClan."

"Right, because I know exactly who they are." Cohete said with a roll of his eyes. He turned and began to pad away, but his muscles froze.

"I know that my name means nothing to you, and that my Clan also has no signifigance, but you must hear what I have to say." The tom said, the superiority of his voice gone. Slowly Cohete turned and sat down.

"Fine, I'm listening to what you have to say."

"You are destined to be my succesor Cohete. You must leave this place and let my Clan rise again!" Stitchstar meowed.

"Yes, because what you're saying makes perfect sense. If you want me to do something, give it to me specifically!" Cohete spat. This tom was really beginning to rub his fur the wrong way.

"Leave this place behind, and travel to the Great River. Follow it to a new home and rebuild WillowClan!" Stitchstar meowed.

"If this 'Clan' is so important, then why can't you rebuild it yourself?" Cohete retorted. He didn't want to leave his home, he had it good here.

The tom shook his head gravely, "I cannot." Then added with a sly smile, "It's hard to do anything more than visiting cats in dreams when you're dead."

Cohete bristled, "You-You're dead?! Then this must be a dream. It's gotta be!"

"Even if it is, you'd do well to listen to my words carefully, and heed them." Stitchstar meowed.

"At the sixth moon of new leaf,
the ground shall open and leave blood in its wake.
The chosen must leave with their followers for the Great River,
or destroy their path for evil's sake.
"

Cohete opened his mouth to tell Stitchstar that his words didn't make any sense. He wanted to say that he was crazy, but before he could utter a single word, he woke up and shivered.

Caprice opened his eyes, blinking away his drowsiness. He yawned, stretching. He yawned again and looked around. Where was he?
The smal black and white tom wasn't in his house. It was a misty, dark clearing. The full moon was shining above him. Caprice blinked again in confusion. Had he gotten into a patch of catnip?
There was a small crack behind the tom, making him whirl around, claws unsheathed. His fur began to bristle as he saw a tall cat, silhouetted against the sky.
He growled a warning, stepping foward. Caprice had never been the one to welcome strangers. "Who are you?" he asked, a growl residing deep in his voice.
The tom sat up straighter, blue piercing eyes making Caprice shrink down slightly. "My name doesn't matter," he meowed briskly, padding toward the black and white tom, making him shrink even lower. The mysterious tom sat back down, a grin starting to form on his lips. "I am Shadowstar, past leader of TwilightClan," he meowed in a sort of heroic way, making Caprice snort.
"And? Why should that bother me?" he asked.
"Because, you, Caprice, are my successor. You will soon leave this place, along with five other cats, to travel to the...Great River. Rebuild TwilightClan for me, since I cannot."
Caprice looked at Shadowstar, doubt slowly forming in his belly. "And why would I leave the comfort of my home to do something so silly?" he asked. "I don't play those silly kit games anymore," he hissed scornfully. "Now, go away, or I'll make you go away!" he growled, taking a step foward.
Shadowstar stood up, towering over the tom. "Do it," he challenged. He laughed, watching Caprice hesitate. "You couldn't hurt me anyway, I'm dead!" He stood up, shaking his black fur. He let out a chuckle, padding away. "Well, I must be going. Thank you for amusing me, though."
Caprice almost started after him. "Y-you're dead?" he asked. There wasn't a reply. Shadowstar had disappeared!
The black and white tom rolled his eyes. What stupid trick! He started back to where he had been sitting before the mysterious tom had appeared, but an eerie voice stopped him.

"At the sixth moon of new leaf,
the ground shall open and leave blood in its wake.
The chosen must leave with their followers for the Great River,
or destroy their path for evil's sake."

Before Caprice could utter a word, a bright light flashed in front of him, and he woke up, beside his water bowl.

Bailey stirred in her sleep, then woke up in denser land that she had fallen asleep in. She ran around the buildings trying to find something familiar. Suddenly a cat appeared almost as if he had came from thin air. Bailey almost ran into him, but she stoped herself, and stepped back. "Who are you." Bailey said strongly.
"The question is, Who are you? But nonetheless, we will figure that out quickly, I assume. I am Eaglestar, the past FogClan Leader." Eaglestar said.
Bailey cocked her head in confusion "FogClan?" Bailey asked
"Yes, it may not mean anything to you now, but it will later, I am here to tell you this, to help you with your destiny.

At the sixth moon of new leaf,
the ground shall open and leave blood in its wake.
The chosen must leave with their followers for the Great River,
or destroy their path for evil's sake.

Bailey, build FogClan again, leave your old life behind you, become who you were always meant to be" Eaglestar said, as if he was very wise, and respected always.

Bailey took a step back scare with confusion "I c-cant, never. I'm just a wanderer, i don't ascoicate with other cats, i don't even know what your talking about, or where to begin." Bailey said panic in her eyes. "Look, I want to help, but your not even real, this is a dream, everything will return to normal when I wake up, and I probably won't remember I had this dream." Bailey reasoned.

"You will remember, and you can start with traveling to the Great River. Good luck." Eaglestar said the evaporated into the air. Bailey ran up to where he just stood, then she really woke up, and Eaglestar was right, she did remember her dream.

~Cassie~
Cassie looked around. Mist covered everything. She crouched over her swollen belly in fear something was trying to hurt her unborn kits. Soon there was a bright light and the shspe of a cat come forward. Cassie's ears pricked making th efeather behind her earswish up and down. She expected to see a ghost but instead stood a beautiful tabby she-cat. "W-who are you?" she asked trying not to show she was scared. "I am Lilystar, the last leader of Lightningclan," she tabby she-cat spoke. "Lightningclan? I'm sorry but what are you talking about?" Cassie asked standing up. Lilystar looked up and then back at Cassie. "You are my successor Cassie, you must leave this place with five other cats and rebuild the forgotten clans," she said. Cassie about jumped back. "What?! You can't be serious! How am I eant to find these cats? And where do you expect me to go? I have kits on the way I can't be moving around too much!" she said. "I understand its a lot to put on one cats shoulders, but it will all be made clear. Please you must travel up the Great River and reclaim Lightningclan," Lilystar said.

Cassie couldn't believe what she was hearing. All her life she just wanted to live with her sister and be happy, but now she was destined for soemthing great. Suddenly Lilystar disappeared and mist covered the ground again. "Wait don't go!" Cassie shouted. She glanced around, but no one was around and no one replied until Lilystar's voice came back, but not soft and gentle as it was before. It came back eerie and serious.

"At the sixth moon of new leaf,
the ground shall open and leave blood in its wake.
The chosen must leave with their followers for the Great River,
or destroy their path for evil's sake."

Before Cassie could utter another word there was a bright flash of light and she woke up next to her sister, niece and nephew.

Melody blinked open her eyes and stood up. She shook her pelt and looked around with wide eyes. It seemed she was in some field that she didn't recognize. Then she felt a presence behind her and whirled around. She saw it was a cream colored she-cat with calm and gentle eyes. Melody's eyes widened more as she saw that the sun's light beating down on the she-cat made her pelt shine all the beautiful colors of the rainbow. The she-cat stared at her for a moment but then meowed with a gentle and powerful voice. "Greetings, young one. My name is Sweetstar and I was the last leader of FieldClan." Melody blinked in confusion and astonishment and stared at her for a while. "My name is-" She began to say but was interrupted by Sweetstar. "Yes, I know your name. Your name is Melody and you are my successor." The silver she-cat blinked and replied. "Excuse me but, what? I'm just an ordinary she-cat who was once a rogue but is now a kittypet. How am I suppose to be your successor? I don't remember have an ancestor named Sweetstar which is, excuse me, a very odd name for a cat to have. And what is this 'FieldClan'? I've never heard of it." Sweetstar took a deep breath and answered. "Being my successor means that you shall be the next leader of FieldClan. FieldClan is a Clan filled with loyal and skillful warriors. Though, the other Clans and FieldClan has been long forgotten. That is why you must leave your old home and venture with five other cats that shall be the next leaders of the other Clans. Melody, you must rebuild FieldClan and make sure your Clan is safe. That is your destiny and that is what you were born to do." Melody was shocked but quickly took a deep breath and asked. "So, I'm suppose to be the next leader of FieldClan? How am I suppose to start? Where do I have to go? You can't expect me to wander around aimlessly, right?" Sweetstar smiled and answered. "You must follow the Great River which will then guide you to your new home. Do not worry, StarClan, the Clan of yours and other cats' dead ancestors, shall guide you and watch over you from above." The silver she-cat widened her eyes and said. "Great River? There are many rivers here! And I've never heard of the 'Great River'. And, may I ask, did you just say you were dead?" Sweetstar sighed and replied. "Yes, I am dead. And yes, there are many rivers in the world but you shall know what is the Great River once you see it. Believe me, we shall guide you to it." Melody blinked and told her. "If this is really my destiny, then I guess I must accept it. Your words may seem like nonsense but I feel like I can believe you. But I'm not sure if I can handle such a big responsibility." Sweetstar grinned and told her. "It is a very big responsibility but believe me, you are fully capable of doing it. Why else did I choose you to be my successor?" Melody sighed and replied. "I guess that's true..."

Then she saw Sweetstar's figure starting to fade away and her eyes widened. "Wait! Don't go yet! I still have many questions for you to answer!" She exclaimed. "Your questions shall be answered on your journey. Good luck with your journey and I shall pray in StarClan that all shall be good in your journey." Sweetstar told her. Then her figure vanished into thin air and Melody was alone in the unknown land. She looked around to try to search for the she-cat but didn't see her anywhere. Then she felt a warm breath whisper in her ears.

"At the sixth moon of new leaf,
the ground shall open and leave blood in its wake.
The chosen must leave with their followers for the Great River,
or destroy their path for evil's sake."

Then Melody's eyes flew open and looked around. It was a dream and she had woken up from it. 'Wow. That was a weird dream to have. But I now know what to do. I wonder who the other five cats shall be...?' She thought curiously.

Glacia looked around, seeing nothing but darkness. I don't belong here...wait...where is here? She thought as she looked around. A faint shimmer appeared in front of her, and a star moved towards her. "Welcome, Glacia." The star said as it slowly became the shape of a cat.
"What--or who are you?" Glacia demanded from the star. No ordinary cat would live in such a dark place! She thought.
"My name is Blizzardstar." The cat mewed. "The former leader of LakeClan. I have come to ask you of a favour."
"Thanks, Blizzardstar. I mean, I'm honoured to be asked to do something, but I'm sorry. I'm not the type of cat to set out on something. It's not even that I like it here, it's just that I don't want anything to change." She mewed nervously.
"Glacia. I'm sorry, but you are destined to leave this...this twolegplace and rebuild LakeClan. However, you're not alone. There are other cats that will travel with you to the Great River."
"But what am I supposed to do?" Glacia mewed, tired that the star-cat wasn't able to tell it to her straight.
"At the sixth moon of new leaf,
the ground shall open and leave blood in its wake.
The chosen must leave with their followers for the Great River,
or destroy their path for evil's sake."

Glacia was about to say something in protest, but the starry figure disappeared, and she woke up next to Snowball, shivering.

Snowball woke up, looking at Glacia. She was shivering, and Snowball didn't understand why. He moved himself closer to her. "Cold?"

Glacia shook her head and smiled. "Don't worry, I'm fine. I'm going to go for a walk. You go back to sleep." She mewed as she licked his ear.

Shawna blinked at Caprice in puzzlement. "You okay?" she asked worriedly.
The small black and white tom blinked sleepily, swaying slightly as he stood. "Yeah. Just a weird dream," he muttered, licking his fur in an effort to warm up. Shawna shivered. It was cold in the kitchen.
The large german shepherd stood up, padding to Caprice. She gave him a lick across his back, making him squirm in protest. "Stop it!" He yowled, strutting past her. He began rubbing across the cold floor in an effort to get the dog's slobber off of him.
When he was done, Shawna laughed, wagging her tail. "Oh, stop it. It's not so bad," she barked, padding to the window. She set her chin on the sill, gazing out longingly. Her tail slowed. She let out a sad whine. When would their human get down there to let them out?
As if on cue, she heard footsteps, growing closer. Shawna whipped her head around, catching a glimpse of Jenn. Her face was scrunched up in what would look like a grimace. If she didn't know otherwise. She was smiling.
Her human let out an odd noise, stepping toward the door.

Caprice let out a purr, padding quickly to the door. "Finally," he muttered, watching his human open the door. He padded outside quickly, padding carefully down the steps. He didn't want to slip on them like he had the other day, when it had rained.
The tom heard Shawna pad after him, and slowed his pace.
He heard a growl behind him. "Stop it!" she growled, stepping around him.
Caprice laughed. "But I just love irritating you, you should know that by now," he countered evenly, twitching his tail in amusement.
Shawna shrugged, letting out a yawn. "So, what was this dream about?" she asked. Caprice laughed at the change in subject.
"Well, this cat was talking to me, something about a Clan, or something," he meowed, not wanting to think about the dream, really. "He said that I should leave my house and travel with five cats to this river, or something."
Shawna looked at him dubiously. "Wow, what were you doing before you went to sleep?" she asked, laughing.
Caprice shrugged, stopping, readying himself to jump on the white picket fence outlining the garden. "I have no clue," he admitted.

~Kimi~
Kimi lifted up her head and looked at her sister. "Cassie are you alright?" she asked. Cassie glanced over at her sister. "Yeah I think so I had a weird dream," she said. Kimi looked at her worriedly. "Come on let's take the kits to Lindra and you can tell me about it," Kimi said. She roused her kits and filed them out of the bush that they all slept under. Kimi looked over at Cassie. Her belly has swollen up very big. She knew she shouldn't be making her walk around so much, but she needed to know what this dream was all about, since her sister looked terrified.

~Cassie~
Cassie continued to follow her sister through the streets of the housing development. She knew Kimi needed to know about her dream, since if Cassie were to find these other cats she would have to bring her sister and other kin. Cassie glanced over at a house down the street. That was where her and Kimi's mother, Haggie lived. Cassie missed her so much but knew she wouldn't want to come with them, but it was aways worth asking after she told Kimi. Cassie finally saw the woods in front of them. She quickly padded into the forest with her sister, niece and nephew following.

Melody blinked and yawned. She was tired and was confused. Her dream was so realistic and she had figured something new that was unbelievable. She was going to be the next leader of this FieldClan and she had to leave her home and follow this Great River to their new home and rebuild her Clan. But who was going to go with her? Who would want to leave their home because of this dream and prophecy? What cat would be willing to leave this comfy home to follow a next-in-line leader to some unknown place? She doubted anybody would be her follower or anybody's follower because they would think that the other five cats and herself are mouse-brained. Melody sighed and shook her head in distress and frustration.

The silvery gray she-cat looked down at her small, younger sister and gave her a sympathetic and sad face. 'How can I travel to somewhere so far with my younger sister? She's blind! She is small and fragile like a leaf. How would she be able to make the big journey when she will be traveling in unknown territories? Mint has only been able to survive this long because she used her senses and knows this Twoleg place and the woods very well. If I tell her about the dream and prophecy, she'll think I'm mouse-brained! Oh, what am I suppose to do?!' Melody thought frustratingly. She let out a small cry of distress and took a deep breath. After five seconds, she was able to calm down and sighed. 'Okay, Melody. Don't get so frustrated over this thing. This isn't like you to be like a stress out mother. Now calm down and think. Maybe I'll just give it a shot and tell Mint about my dream. Yeah, that's what I'll do.' She thought. Melody nodded and sighed in relief she made her decision.

Mint woke up when she heard Melody's cry of distress and she yawned. Then Mint stretched her limbs and sat up. "What's wrong Melody? It's not like you to let out a cry of distress in the morning. Is something bothering you so much that you would be so out of character in dawn?" She meowed. Then she turned her blind gaze at Melody and waited for her response.

Melody blinked in surprise when Mint woke up and gulped. She bit the bottom of her lip but then took a deep breath. The she-cat stared straight into Mint's blind eyes and said. "I have something important to tell you. Let's go to the woods to talk about this..." Then she started to walk towards the direction of the woods. She saw Mint shrug and run off to her. Then the two sister side-by-side walked towards the woods together.

Shawna blinked at Caprice, a look of sadness crossing her black and brown face. "So, are you going to really leave to travel to a river, Cici?" she asked uneasily. Her tail had stopped wagging.
Caprice looked down at his dog companion, smiling at the nickname. His gaze softened into a slight frown as he named the emotion on her face. He sighed, looking down. "I don't think I have the heart to leave you with these savage upwalkers," he muttered, stretching across the fence. He layed down on his side so he was facing Shawna, letting his tail hang over the fence a little. He stretched out his back leg. "But, if this dream wasn't meant to be percieved as a dream, and I am meant to rebuild TwilightClan, then I guess I would have to go," he meowed quietly, closing his eyes. He felt as if a claw was piercing his heart as he heard Shawna let out a whine.
He heard Shawna shuffle. "You'd let me come along too, wouldn't you?" she asked.
"I would, but you must keep in mind, not all cats like dogs," he replied.
"But I could protect you! I can't stay here without you, I'll have no one to talk to or poke fun at! I'll be lonely for the rest of my life!" she wailed. Caprice heard the german shepherd stand up, and the fence shook violently. "You can't leave me here, it'd be unbearable to be here without you! I've known you since I was a p-"
Caprice opened his eyes, digging his claws into the wood as the fence shook. When the shaking subsided, Caprice sighed. "Don't be so melodramatic. This is just an 'if' situation," he meowed soothingly, standing up. He looked down, stretching until he was eye level with Shawna. "If I decide to go. If I listen to this crazy dead cat. If this is even real." Caprice sighed. "Even if this is the real thing, how am I going to know who the other five cats are? It's not like I can go up to them and ask, 'Hey, have any crazy dreams lately? Something about a prophecy and a leader talking about rebuilding a Clan?',"
Shawna let out a sigh, making Caprice sit back up, coughing. She let out a yawn. "Well, I guess we shouldn't waste our time thinking about this," she muttered.

~Sage~
Sage sat alone outside her twoleg's run down den. Her twoleg had left for the day like he usually did, but it seemed everyday he left he came back more mad than when he left. He usually locked Sage up, but she knew every little hole and crack in that house. She always snuck out through a hole in the wall in the back of the house. She tried to avoid walking through the backyard since the tall grasses could have adders in them. She looked at the hole under the house, which is where she gathered herbs from the forest and put them there. She always felt so much comfort and peace when she was under the house right there. She looked over a few yards away and spotted Caprice and Shawna. Sage decided to walk over to them and see how their day was going since she didn't have anything else to do. She hopped up on the fence and looked down at them. "Hey guys how's life been?" she asked her fur all ruffled from squeezing out of her house.

Caprice let out a rough purr, nodding to Sage. "Morning," he meowed. He stood up, stretching. He hopped back up onto the fence, shaking his long black and white fur. "It's been too kind to me," he purred.
Shawna nodded to the she-cat, wagging her tail. "Quite fine," she barked softly. The german shepherd casted a wary glance at Caprice. The dog had always been wary about cats, but something bothered her even more. Should they tell Sage about the dream that Caprice had?
Caprice looked down at his dog companion, shaking his head slightly. He knew it was just a dream. I don't want anybody to think I'm a complete mouse-brain, he almost said, but looked back at Sage, a friendly look coming back to his face. "So, how are you doing?" he asked curiously. His belly growled slightly, and his eyes drifted back to his housefolk's nest. He was tempted to go eat some of the food that was waiting by his bed, but didn't do so. The food was totally unappetizing, and quite frankly, a bird sounded more appealing at the moment....

~Sage~
Sage shrugged. She licked her fur down to where it was sleek and smooth again. But it didn't matter it would get messed up again when her twoleg came home. "Same old. Same old. My twoleg isn't being any nicer to me than what he has been," she said. Sage didn't want to go back to her housefolk's house but she had to. She wouldn't be able to live on her own.

Caprice glared menacingly toward where Sage lived, digging is claws into the fence under him. "I'm glad I don't live there," he meowed, a growl beginning to show in his voice. "By now, I would have ripped the piece of mousedu-" Caprice paused, thinking of a word to replace what he was about to say. There's a she-cat present, his conscience hissed in his head. He coughed, sheathing his claws."I-I mean, I would have taught him a lesson," he amended, meeting Sage's gaze solemnly. He had to learn to control his temper and tongue.
