Siegfried had a chance to rest in his wondering, he had found a small patch of clovers in a rocky clearing and lowered his head to eat. It'd been awhile. Having nothing to protect despite being a knight meant that he had no home and no real knighthood to his name. To most he wouldn't even bother to add the 'Sir' before his name. He'd spent so much time alone even the most ill of people would make for good company most of the time. Excluding the she demon Fjola of course. She seemed to follow him wherever he went as if playing some sick game. Once he was done eating however he let loose a heavy sight and slowly lay himself down on the rocky ground.

Aellopus brushed her wings, going over the rocks, in the area around. Her nose was twitching, as she tried to find something to drink. The water she had found earlier was a dark brown, like there was too much dirt in it. Almost like oil. She snorted, and turned around, to see if there was anything behind herself. Her eyes flickered as she saw a young steed, a noble one, but he looked like his armor was a tad tattered. She smiled. Someone to mess with. She slowly crept up towards him, and spoke aloud, "My, my. You look.."

Siegfried quickly lifted his head, his armor making subtle sounds of metal on metal as he moved. His eyes scanned the almost baron area for the source of the voice. "Harpy.." He hissed. He'd only heard bad things about them so far. He'd never seen one so close though. His eyes remained firmly locked on here, he readied himself to leap to his feet if he had to. Never had he dealt with one before. "What do you want from me?" He demanded firmly as she crept towards him.

She smiled, and snorted. "Don't be so defensive. I won't harm you. You're not worth harming." She said, giving a small glance towards him. "I'm lonely. I need someone to sit around, and talk to," she chuckled. Her eyes locked onto the metal. "Why are you wearing that stuff?"

"Not worth harming?" He growled somewhat, the words making it seem as if he were a weakling. "A harpy... lonely. Never heard that one before. Where is your flock?" He stated, assuming she was part of one, it was in their nature after all. He got to his feet when she questioned his armor. "I wear it because it is part of my identity. Part of who I am."

She frowned. "What is it any of your business?" She spat. "Where's my flock.. What a stupid question." She whimpered. "They're gone. Dead. I'm the last of them." She glared at him. "And you? Where's your patrol? I mean, you are a knight aren't you?"

"Dead? I suppose somebody saw them as a threat then. And what of you? How did you escape?" He growled at the question of the patrol. So many years ago it was that he got separated from them. "I have no patrol. And thus I have to true right to call myself a knight. I've nothing to protect but myself."
