She nosed a few pebbles out of the sleeping area, she had just cleaned, glancing around she nodded her head happily.
Perfect.
A place for just them, close enough in the pride that they were surrounded by others, but far enough that they could be alone together.
Together.
The more she thought about that, the happier she seemed to be, a faint song hummed by another voice danced in her mind and she thought nothing of it. She spent many hours in the twilight with the dying and dead, her heart went out to them as her muse seemed to thrive in the sorrow, even though she was a happy lioness.
But today, her duties were not requested upon and she was free to stalk her mate as she pleased, she thought with a grin..
Where had that hunk of lion gotten off to..?

The voices echoing through the trees was now almost normal now to Moyo. They never stopped and they were always there. It was annoying when the two first came to the pride but now it was almost normal. Almost.
He wasn't far off from Neph. In his maw he held what looked to be the back leg to a zebra. Obviously he was carrying it to Neph like always. His fascination with Neph only grew as the two spent more and more time together. A little obsessive but harmless.
He wasn't really paying attention to where he was headed.

At the sight of her mate coming back to her, she couldn't help but chirp and purr happily as she couldnt help but almost dance in place with excitment.
She then had a thought! She'd hide from him, she giggled as she rushed away from the little opening of their haven, and hid behind some fallen logs.

The male continued on with out hte slightest of clues what his mate was up. He just carried the meaty leg not sespecting Neph to be hiding close by.
Though he did notice her gone when he got to the den. The male dropped the meaty leg in shock. NEPH!? WHERE WAS SHE!

A paw lifted to her muzzle, to hide the smile that was plastered to her face, she continued to watch her mate, she couldnt be more in love with another than she was with Moyo, he was her world, there was no other for this lioness, she chewed her lip now, not sure how much longer she could hold out.

To moyo losing sight of neph was one of his worst fears. He was serious when it came to making sure where she was and if she was safe. The truth was he couldn't get enough of th e girl.
"NEPH!" He shouted running in circles. It was silly looking for such a large lion.

Her head tilted to the side, a soft awe echoed out as she slipped out from behind the logs, her eyes misty as she waited for him to notice her. For such a giant, he was so gentle and loving with her, he always amazed her.

His ear twitched he heard an awww. His eyes shifted to the logs and a playful smile found its way to his lips.
"Wonder where Neph can be.." He joked as he approached those logs.

She crotched down, into a pouncing position, the moment he was close enough..She waited, a grin on her face as she watched him draw closer.

She sprung out at him, with a soft roar following suit as she flung herself at him with all the might she could muster up.

The male was so surprised that he fell when she flung her self at him. What was this? Who..? NEPH!
A sly grin fell on his maw.
"Well well," He chuckled, "Dont believe we've met like this before."

She looked down at Moyo, and licked his muzzle, she grinned at him. "Well, have to mix things up from time to time.." She purred at him, nuzzling his mane.

The male didn't fight to get back up. This was to nice and to amazing. Just like Neph was amazing. Wait she was amazing. His thoughts were all jumbled up he was so happy.

She purred, before nipping at his ear affectionately. "Sooo, what did you bring back?" she asked, it was weird not to hunt souly for him, but to go out in small parties and hunt for the pride, she hadnt been asked to be of aid this day.

The male grinned, " I brought you back the best meat . I made sure no one else took it. " He gestured over to the zebra back leg. There were a lot of perks living in a pride. One of which was the fact the pride all hunted together. You shared your kills but it was worth it. There was always something to eat.
"I already ate at the hunting grounds but I brought you that back."

"Aw, I would have gone with you." She pouted at him for a moment, before she tickled his belly, rolling off of him.
She stretched out for a moment, shaking anything that might have clung to her fur away. "You work hard as it is love, I could have fetched dinner.."

Moyo laughed, he was pretty good at his job. Though usually he spent his watcher duties watching over Neph. Whether she knew this or not he wasn't sure but it was a task. He'd not risk losing her again.
"Well go on and eat"

She didnt know he watched her while she did her duties, which oddly enough she enjoyed. It brought her pleasure to know she could give another happiness and comfort right before the end.
She gave him a look, before she sauntered over to the leg of zebra, ripping into it she purred happily. How lucky was she!

Moyo smiled, sitting up, and watched his mate go at the zebra leg. It made him happy that she was enjoying the meat he provided for her. Maybe one day they'd have cubs and he'd feel the same pleasure providing for the cubs. Maybe..

She looked up at him, could feel him watching her, but in his silence, she wondered what was going through her mates mind. She arched a brow as she licked blood from her muzzle.

Moyo gave her a soft smile. It seemed she was enjoying the kill.
"Im so happy right now," He grinned. The whispers seemed to have stopped just for a moment.

Having eatten more than her fill, she made her way towards her mate, muzzle still slightly stained from the blood, but she licked at it half heartedly, as she rubbed her head against his chest. "I am too..I never want this to end." She purred.
