My problem is when i play tf2, after about 10 minutes of playing the game then goes into some weird form of lag, and the frames per second goes to s**t and lowers a drastic rate. after awhile the lag goes away. but it comes back later. Can anyone help? plz? sad

try reinstalling it, if that doesn't work, you might need to upgrade your hardware.

Sounds like the system is overheating, which is slowing down your processor to prevent hardware failure.

Btw, I might have the same problem. At least once per game startup, I'll be playing a match and the game freezes for about 10 seconds, unfreezes for 1 second, freezes again, etc. for about 30 seconds to a minute. Once this episode is done, it VERY rarely happens again until i were to start up the game again. I think maybe it's because I've been playing to much and the computer has been over-heating because it hasen't happened yet lately. And yes, I have a good connection, and yes, my computer tower is brand new with custom parts for gaming.

At least once per game startup, I'll be playing a match and the game freezes for about 10 seconds, unfreezes for 1 second, freezes again, etc. for about 30 seconds to a minute.
