Acacia walked on the land between Ignis Renatus and Aves packs. It was currently unclaimed and in the perfect location for her plans of a pack. The unclaimed land laid on a stream and was in a highly forested area, allowing pack members access to water, food, and shelter. Her confidence bubbled out of the box that was also known as her heart, she called it this because she kept all of her emotions tightly locked just like a box. A small grin crossed her muzzle as she walked down by the waters edge to get a drink. She stared down at her reflection, taking in the colors of her fur. The red went well with the orange, however, she also felt that it was a disadvantage in this territory because she stuck out like a sore paw. Acacia lightly sniffed the water, making sure that it was drinkable and clean. After it was cleared she put her mouth close to the water, licking up the cold water. The cold water felt good going down her throat. She hadn't been around water in days due to being in the desert that laid just to the northwest of her.

Once she had drank her fill she went and laid down under a shady tree, contemplating on what her next move would be. Should she claim this territory as her's? Or should she wait until she had learned the land and nearby packs more? She gently shook her head, clearing all thoughts from her mind so that she could concentrate on one thing. Acacia allowed herself to think over a battle plan for when the time came for her to claim the land. She knew it would not be easy, and that she would need to gain some follows to help fight in the battle. No matter what happened she would not allow herself to fail.

It was sweltering to him, but even the shade could not provide. The black cloth stained with blood was hot against his neck, and had he been capable of sweating his bangs would have been stuck to his face. As it was, panting would do. For no particular reason Twiddle had decided to edge away from Ignis Renatus for a moment in order to retrace the river's path for his own strange amusement - and also to remind himself of the geography outside. As a cleaner he was usually within the pack's inner areas, but he was a wolf that needed to simply explore again every once in a while. Dutifully he had brushed up on the odd-colored pair's den for dust and insects, and then from there had crossed the border to where he was now.

He had explored some of the mountains that separated them and another pack who they had recently had visitors from, but now that the day was growing, perhaps it was time he headed back. Yet as he strode to the river to cool himself some for the journey (not long, thankfully), he spotted what appeared to be another sun almost - red and yellow and gold - contented beneath a tree. Not aware of social norms that would stop him from approaching or asking questions out of the blue, Twiddle called to her, "Awaiting your turn in the sky?"

Acacia's ears perked up when she heard a male voice call to her. She lifted her head and looked in his direction. "Maybe one day." She said with no intention of going over to him. She gently shook her orange and yellow mane, trying to get some air to her neck. The fur around her neck and face was thick and fluffy, which made it harder for her to stay cool. However, the tree provided some shade, which allowed her to rest and think in peace. "Are you waiting for an audience?" Acacia asked with her soft musical voice. She knew her voice was not quit fitting with her appearance, but it allowed her to gain an edge against other wolves. They would not expect someone like her to put up much of a fight, even though she would gladly tear someone a new tail. Acacia stood up and pawed gently at the soft ground beneath her feet, wondering what his next move would be. She wondered if he would stay where he was, or maybe he would approach her. It was best for her to be on gaurd for any advance on his part, so that she could counter it properly. She gently stretched out, still facing the male. Maybe he will be of use to me later... I wonder if he already belongs to a pack. She thought with curiousity.

As she spoke, Twiddle took the time to relocate himself closer to the river - like drinking close. The only sign that he was still listening to the wolf was his perked ears, but otherwise everything focused upon slaking his thirst and then some. The mountains were hard for one not used to the rougher terrain, and Twiddle had never been in the best of health to begin with. Once he had lapped up enough water to be satisfied, he licked his lips and picked his head up, speaking as though he had not taken a pause. "No. I have nothing to beget needing one, and if I did to wait in this heat might mean certain death," he replied, misinterpreting her words, and began to turn back to his path home. "If you seek the sky, ever upwards is the way to turn."

Acacia stared after the male with curiosity. He seemed to have not understood her question or decided to just ignore it. She slowly stalked behind the male as he walked, making sure to keep a distance between them. She would allow the male to see she was curious about where he was going, but nothing more. "Is there any reason for you coming to this location?" Acacia asked, not sure if he belonged to one of the local packs. If there was going to be other wolves constantly tredging through this land, maybe it would be a good idea to choose a different location. Acacia slightly shook her head. No, she would not allow anyone or anything to stand in her way. No matter the cost. "I do not seek the sky at this time. However, one day I may." Acacia replied, not quite sure what he meant by seeking the sky. Was he talking about death? If he was this was a threat she would not take lightly.
