"Ccccchhhaarrrrrrrr!"

"Oh, c'mon Cin." Strong hands pulled the tiny pokemon out from behind her leg and laid them steadly on his shoulders, forcing the fire-type to face the dummy infront of them. This was the Charmanders' first time in the training gyms since Jen had caught him about a week ago and the dummies, something he had never seen before, had scared the willies out of him.

Needless to say, fron the laughter coming from the bleachers behind them, some of Jen's pokemon had gotten a good kick out of the unintended scare. It stopped when Jen launched a heated glare at the Eevee and Pikachu, backed up by the second glare from her newly-evolved Pidgeot nearby. "Alright boy." The salamander-colored pokemon stared at his trainer nervously. What if he did something wrong? "Don't worry. This is just practice. Now...I want you to attack that creature infront of us with all your strength."

"CCCCCHHHHHHAAAAAARRRRR!"
What if he hurt it?! His natural pacifist nature was badly conflicting with this lesson.

A sigh.
"Cin, its not real. Here, look at Yamir." She pointed at the Pidgeot, who was biting at the stuffing with his beak and slashing at the wood with sharp talons. The dummy did nothing more than spin in place at the light blows.

"See?"
"Charmander...."

........This was going to take a while.

1337 had work for his Metagross.

His Metagross was not exactly a Pokemon that could be let out anywhere. There were only a few locations where this particular tool could be used. Rather than go outside (come now, 1337 worked hard to keep that pasty complexion), he decided that the training facility would be a more welcome choice. It was still indoors, and usually there were people there. Guys for joking around with. And girls to hit on.

Sure, there were occasionally noisy Pokemon or Rockets that were chomping at the bit to battle their Pokemon, but usually they would leave him alone when they saw 1337's choice tool.

He slid into the room, and easily spotted the Rocket in the room (Hmm... that looked like Jen), and her Pokemon. Why she'd have her Pokemon sitting in the bleachers, he would never understand. They weren't doing anything productive, so it made little sense to have them there. He mentally noted that Jen was probably the sort to spoil her Pokemon rotten.

He grinned as he made his way in, and as he passed the other Grunt, he greeted her with a simple "Hot pants has a hot Pokemon!" Not clever necessarily, but you didn't need to be clever to break the ice. At least, that was 1337's approach on the matter.

Unknowest to the supposed genius, Aeon and Donar were there for training as well despite their current bleacher status. Jen was currently busy working with Cinaed at the moment, though her Pikachu was about to start his own solo workout.

With a small sigh of defeat, the grunt picked up Cinaed (earning a squeak of surprise of from the pokemon as he was being held under his trainers' arm) and motioned for the Pikachu lounging on the seat. "AEON! Snap forward!" She pointed at the dummy. "I want you to work on your Mega Punch technique yesterday!" When the female grunt said "yesterday" her pokemon knew to haul tail.

"Pika!"
The patter of paws against the concrete ground was soon overcome by the light pounding of fists against the padded dummy.

"And as for you two...."
The trainer walked over to where her eevee was waiting and placed Cinaed down next to him.

"Laps."
"Eee?"
"Char?"

A scowl. "I want you two running laps around this gym! You won't train on the dummies? Then we'll work on your other stats!" They both swallowed nervously as she pulled a stopwatch out of her bag on the bench. "Five full laps around the gym in under ten minutes! HUSTLE!"

The two were off like a shot as a new (very flamboyent) grunt waltzed into the training gym. But Jen did nothing to acknowledge his existance, nor did she say anything about his comment. The cold shoulder treatment usually worked with guys like that.
PostPosted: Wed Jul 07, 2010 11:20 pm

Cold shoulders were overrated. After she had sorted out her Pokemon and seemed to be done busting out the commands, 1337 wandered closer, grin still stretched upon his face.

"Oh... the cold, silent type? Or the bossy type? Hot pants doesn't realize how hot that makes her when she ignores me."

He snickered a little bit before he moved onward. The one important thing about the training facility was it was large. This meant he had enough room to summon his favorite tool. Where as some trainers got super excited and called out "POKEBALL GO" when they released a Pokemon from a Pokemon, the computer hacker did no such thing. He just tossed the Pokeball out in front of him, and with a burst of light, something large and heavy began to form.

The Metagross glanced around silently, taking in all of the surroundings while awaiting its trainer's directions.

1337 stood in front of the large Pokemon, his grin shifting into something less frequently observed upon his face. His lips formed a straight line, and his tone dropped into a serious one lacking all that emotion he usually used with humans.

"Pokemon... I want you to analyze the program I have opened currently on screen. I want you to run some simulations of the program before I add the final touches. Report all observations."

It was impossible for the Pokemon to nod, but on the monitor that nobody but the visored Rocket could see, a binary code showed up.

Weirdo...

Jen cast the guy a small glare at his snide comment but nothing else. Apparently he didn't get the message that she didnt want ANYTHING to do with him. As her two pokemon started their second lap about the gym, Jen glanced down at the stopwatch in her hand:

Three minutes and 20 seconds.
Not bad.

"Come on, you two!" Both eevee and charmander were starting to pant and sweat a bit. Endurance was neither of their strong points yet. "I want to see you out running your shadows!"

Behind her, and the guy with his Metagross, Yamir had paused in his beating up of the dummy to examine the odd male human. His feathers had slicked down as he spoke to Jen; with a click of his beak, the Pidgeot waddled over to stand protectivly next to his trainer.

"Dont worry boy..." She gently scratched him on the crest. "I can fend for myself."

"Geo...."

His Pokemon had its objective in place, and rather promptly, it began to work on its assignment. Just because the Pokemon had its assignment didn't mean that 1337 could take it easy.

Well, too easy that is. Multitasking was such a wonderful thing. He let his left hand start with its typing motions as he spun around to face Jen. There might have been a Pidgeot standing there at the intimidating height of that Elite Agent with the pink hair, but it didn't seem to bother the techie at all.

Rather easily, he approached the girl, one hand still typing. "Jen, Jen, Jenny McHotpants Walker, Jen."

Had she even introduced herself to him? Heck, had she even met him before today?

That grin still remained upon his lips as he stood there without fear of the giant bird, his left hand still plucking away at invisible keys on a keyboard. "I bet with all the sweet nothings you say to your Pokemon, you would probably have a very choice selection of sweet nothings for your boyfriend, Hot pants."

He was willing to bet she, like many of the Rocket girls, was lacking in the boyfriend department. Based off how aloof she had been acting thus far, he figured she probably considered herself the "strong woman" sort. Those were much more fun to mess around with. Oh yes, they were.

As the Metagross began whatever task it was told to do, Yamir took off from his trainers' side but not with one last glare sent at the human male. Near the bleachers, Donar and Cinaed had long finished their laps before collapsing to catch their breath. Neither really noticed their trainer had turned her attention towards the other Grunt.

Jen frowned at 1337. If he had to guess, this guy (judging by the visor and the fact he was typing on the air with one hand) probably got her name from the record database. But that didn't stop her from glaring at him.

Or the way he had stated her name.

"What I say to my pokemon is none of your business." Jen let a humorless smile touch her lips. "And whether I have a boyfriend or not is none of your business too. So..." She flipped the bird at him. "I suggest you take a hike and go fix yer info data. Im afraid the middle name you gave me doesn't quite fit the bill."
PostPosted: Thu Jul 08, 2010 5:13 pm

People never learned.

Never ever ever.

"Awww... but you just gave me such a nice invitation with that gesture just now." He chuckled in a manner that could only be read as perverted. It was, after all, the direct translation of that gesture. "And I'd never turn down that sort of offer from such a McHotpants like yourself."

As she suggested he update the database with the lack of her assumed middle name, he tsked in her general direction before spinning back to his Pokemon, which despite the lack of the physical movement, was processing much more data than the other Pokemon could probably understand. He swung his hands behind his head.

"Oh Jenny, Jen, Jen, Jenny, Jen!" He shook his head slightly, as if amused at her statement. "I only read the database. I don't alter it. It isn't my job to do that." Bull-faced lies. He might not admit it, but he did occasionally mess around with the database, just for a few laughs. Speaking of a few laughs, he offered a few hearty ones at that very moment before turning around and giving her a noticeable looking over. His head tilted forward and down, then moved up her body.

"And I hate to break it to ya, Jenny Jen Jen... but ya 167% fit tha' bill for the name McHotpants." Humorously, he kissed the air, then blew towards her direction. "It isn't good to live in such a delusional state, Jenny Jen Jen."

Jen flushed a bright scarlet at the guys' words, but it wasn't from being embarassed.

Oh no.

Apparently this guy was either too caught up with his flirting act or that visor of his was on too tight to notice the tall-tale signs of the grunts' temper starting to flare. Her rage only grew when he decided to examine her; Jen could feel the guy undressing her mentally. Between her ankles, having broken away from his training at his trainers' vibes, Aeon growled while letting out sparks of warning from his cheeks. If the pokemon had anything to judge by, that humans' equipment wouldn't do him any favors when greeted by a Thunderbolt.

"Listen, you b*****d...I suggest you shut that hole you call a mouth less I knock your teeth in." She could do it too. Her brother could vouch for that.

Oh, this was too priceless. Angry hottie and her angry Pokemon both giving him the evil eye. Take away the Pokemon, and it would have been arousing.

"I'm sure ya get told this all the time, but yer cute when yer angry." He moved his head as if to look at the Pikachu, but he was just doing it to make a show of it. "The Pokemon, not so much."

He returned his head to the level of her glares and hateful stares. The thing that probably seemed odd about how he maintained himself was the fact he never seemed to stop grinning. "And I am quite curious... what does the fact that my parents were not married before they f*cked and made me got anything to do with this subject?" Still smiling. Apparently calling him a b*****d had little to no meaning to him. It was always fun to turn things to literal meanings on people. Calling him a "dork" always just got a super proud smile spread across his face.

Jen kept up the angry look while, below, Aeon growled louder at the male human. He was more than ready to give the guy the shock of his life, ordered by his trainer or not. Never mind the giant psychic pokemon standing behind 1337 himself.

"Look you, whoever you are." Jen was now thinking back on the rumors she had heard about a perverted techie Seth had thrown into the brig a while back. She had laughed about that with one of her friends over lunch the other day but now she could see WHY Seth had tossed him behind bars.

The grunt didnt blame him either.

"I dont know what goes through that empty space between your ears, and I dont wanna know." She snorted and crossed her arms as Aeon climbed up to perch on her shoulder. "But I do want you to shove off to whatever hole you crawled out of. Apparently that visor of yours is tied on too tight for you to understand that though."

Ah yes, rejection. It was hilarious every time. He waited for the girl to finish her rant, then he laughed. It wasn't a polite laugh. It was the "I am amused at your expense" sort of laugh.

The tall visored man laughed until his laughter had dwindled down to a few mere chuckles, though that grin still remained to haunt his features. "Goodness, where are my manners? I know your name, Jenny Jen Jen McHotpants, and yet, you don't know what to call me. Aside from a b*****d that is."

For a moment, he paused, but it wasn't for anything remotely related to the current conversation. No, it seemed that the Metagross had reported a few observations, which he casually glanced over for now. His left hand typed out some small message that only the Metagross could see, and then 1337 was back to business as usual.

"I go by one three three seven. Not too hard to remember, right?"

He turned back to face his Pokemon, his tool of choice. "And, yer not gonna get rid of me that easily, Hotpants. Can't 'shove off' to the hole, since I am actually working right now." He turned back to face her, grin as large as ever. "Doesn't that piss ya off that I actually have a legit reason to be here?"

DAMMIT!

Bystanders in the gym could almost see the thundercloud forming above the females' head. Damn him! Damn that pervert!

Why was it everytime she tried to come in here and train her pokemon, she got driven off by someone in-base?!

But, boy...1337 or whoever this guy was calling himself...he should count himself lucky. The injury, reminding the grunt of its presense, she had was the only thing keeping her from knocking this guy into next tuesday. Besides, Jen was fairly sure the Doctor wouldn't be pleased to see her in the Ward because of something stupid.

"Look....leet, or whatever you call yourself..." Jen threw her hands up into the air to display her frustration. "I came here to train my pokemon. I could care diddly squat why yer here but....DAMMIT!" She glared. "LEAVE ME ALONE, YA DAMN PERVERT!"

Aeon amplified her yells with a few of his own, echoed by the sparks flying violently from his cheeks.
Cinaed and Donar had long since retreated back into their pokeballs while Yamir was nowhere to be seen.
PostPosted: Sun Aug 01, 2010 10:48 pm

"One. Three. Three. Seven." His tone was playfully corrective. If there was one thing that Jen probably wanted, it was for the computer hacker's smile to vanish. And yet, that seemed to be the one constant about 1337's features.

That steady grin.

"Trust me. I haven't done a thing to ya yet, Jenny Jen Jen. If I had, you'd definitely know. Naw... all I'm doin' is just talkin' to a hottie who obviously doesn't want to have a thing t'do with men."

A slight pause. "Which is worse. Me hitting the nail on the head, or the fact that it's true that I haven't done anythin' to ya yet?" With a laugh, he walked up to his large Pokemon again, hand patting the large metal limb, causing a nearly hollow "clank" sound to echo out a bit. For a bit, he pretended to be disinterested altogether, "paying attention" to his Pokemon for a bit.

Yet, eventually he turned back. He didn't say a word. He faced her direction, but he honestly wasn't even looking at her. Yet, he gave the illusion that he was looking at her by simply facing her. He just kept that big grin on his face.

Now to wait.

Why did this game always have to be so fun?

Her good hand tightened into a fist at his mocking words, longing to punch in that stupid grin of his and make him lose a few pearly whites.

Not to mention she wanted to deliver a blow to his family jewels that would make even his future generations hurt.

Unfortunately, two things held her back: Her injuries, still healing from that stupif raid and her pokemon; Yamir had grabbed at the back of his shirt with his beak while Cin and Aeon clung to her legs to make her stay put. Needless to say, the point to retreat for now was driven home by the look in her eldest pokemons' eyes. But there was also a faint sign of promise. They would get back at him.

Swearing under her breath, Jen quickly withdrew Cin, Don and Yamir before Aeon scuttled up to his perch on her shoulder. Without a word towards the b*****d behind her (Aeon, however, cast 1337 an angry glare as more sparks flew from his cheeks), she marched out of the training gym and towards the Rec Room. Jen did make sure to slam the door as hard as she could on her way out though.

Just in case the guy didnt get the point.

For now, she needed to vent stress.
And Jen had learned one of the guys in tech had bought a new shoot-'em-up game last night.

Maybe this was a good time to try it out.
