I just joind this group a bit after Pesach...or before maybe, and I absalutly love it! Has any one else joing NCSY in their youth or are apart of it now? I have some stories to tell and I was woundring if any one else had some too! smile

I just got back from my first Shabbaton! I live outside a Jewish comunity so I cant go to shull on SHabbos, so as if hearing the Torah was not enough, and seeing so many people in a shull, It was the most amazing experience I have ever felt!!

Unfortunately my area does not have this program. We do have a program for the different age groups, Chalutzim, Kadima, and USY.

Why wait till you get to college? I have been a camp counselor at CAmp Gan Israel for four years and went to that camp as a camper for 2 years before, I also work at the Chabad Pre-school as a teachers aid. There are Chabads every where, B"H.

There are Chabads every where, B"H. correction chabad is almost everywhere it wasnt until 4 yrs ago that were i live got a chabad and thats only b/c they are now associated w/ a local college. on the other hand i'm pretty sure in the mechanicville area their isnt any chabad but they are 2 in driving distance
