Elisabetta held a red blocked soccer ball in her hands, bouncing it from palm to palm as she stared down the length of grass to her brother. He was croutched, which was just stupid, but he wouldn't listen to her.
"Ready?"
The toddler squinted. He could do it, even if she didn't believe. She said he couldn't play in the crowded area with the rest of the children, so they were on a side lot with dirty grass. Who was she, anyway? Lissy wasn't his momma.
"One...two....three!" Elisabetta pulled back and tossed the ball, rolling it hard and fast until it came to a complete stop after slamming into Roman's face. "Oh my God! Roman! Oh-Oh jeez, Oh!"
She ran over and bent down to pick him up. He smacked her hand away, rubbing at his nose where blood started pouring with little tears in his eyes. Stupid sister, and her stupid game! The toddler growled and pushed away from her before running.
"Roman, wait! I'm sorry, please, just....just wait!"

What he ran into was a taller boy with dark hair and rainbow tentacles. Steve blinked down at the younger child, noticing the blood. "Hey, you okay?" he asked, pulling a pack of napkins from his pocket to offer them to the smaller boy, "You're kinda bleeding man."
He didn't seem to threatening - in fact, Steve just seemed like a regular kid heading to play. One of his tentacles was holding yet another soccer ball, but the other was poking curiously at Roman till he smacked it. "Stop that, Tash. Leave him alone."

Roman fell back on his butt with an 'omph!'. Instinctively, he growled and looked up at the older boy. He snatched the napkins and pushed them on his sore nose, halfway shoving them up his nostrils.
When the toddler saw the tentacles, he froze. There were....there were more?! He readied himself to attack the one called 'Tash' before a hand grabbed his collar, holding him down.
"That'd be the best thing," she laughed nervously, one hand holding back her own probing tentacle. "Oh, look, Roman. He has a ball." The teenager motioned to Steve's soccer ball as she hoisted Roman onto his feet.
"You any good with that? I mean, you wanna play?"

Steve stared before his eyes widened, "Hey you're Roman? Key's twin?" he asked, looking interested. He hadn't much cared for the other boy one way or another but it was still interesting to note who it was.
Glancing down at his soccer ball, Steve nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay with it." After a moment, he realized something, blinking at the older spawn, "Hey, do you know Tally? You look kinda like her."

"Key?" How did the weird boy know his twin? Roman looked at Steve suspiciously, his head cocked to the side. "Iz brover." Normally he wasn't one for talking and it showed. His voice was low, and scratchy, with the hint of an ever present growl.
Elisabetta crossed her arms ontop of Roman's head and laid her head on them, despite his obvious irritation. Her mouth made an 'o' before she smiled. "Ya, she's my sister. Our parents are roommates, but their not dating or anything like that. I have another sibling, Bailey, but I don't live with it anymore. It stays with gran."
She looked at his ball while her longer tentacle coiled around Roman to peep at the new tentacles with curiosity. The chibi shrank up like a sea anemone. "Well, let's get started!"

The dark haired boy nodded awkwardly, "Yeah, I met Key a few days ago at the skating rink. He was there with Tally and I had met her before, when I was smaller, so she introduced me. Tal's the one who noticed Key and I are the same combo."
Well, that situation he could understand at least, "Yeah I know about that - My moms aren't dating either, they're sisters, but they raise me and my brothers together. I think I've met Bailey though - my little brothers Riya and Roshan get along with it and your gran."
Dropping his soccerball, the boy grinned, "Sure." Immediately he put one foot on it, giving them a warm glance, "You two get back a bit. I kick pretty good."

"Tally's wrong." Roman said bluntly, pointing an accusatory finger at Steve. "Not the same. No." They didn't look a thing alike, aside from the hair and even Tally had that. He shook his head. Kieran didn't have tentacles, which made him the best kind of brother in Roman's book. Even if they did bicker alot.
Elisabetta nodded, "At least I'm not alone." She smiled at the mention of Bailey, but it dimmed when Lo was brought into the picture. Things were still...tense with the elderly woman, and she didn't like to poke her nose in it. "Riya and Roshan are your brothers? Thats so cool. Bailey's told me all about them. Does Riya really wear heels?"
She stepped back and patted Roman's butt. "C'mon, squirt. Give him some room."
The paired backed out quite a ways and spread out, forming a little triangle. Lissy wasn't sure if this was quite right, but if Roman was calm with it, then she was fine.

The boy shrugged, "Hey, I'd love to believe it too. I didn't make the DNA designs. But we are both lust and patience so we're related in some way at least." he said, not erally caring too much about Roman or his anger at that.
Steve rolled his, nodding when Riya's fashion choices were brought up. "He totally does. His newest set are SPARKLY." he stated before his grin returned and the boy pulled back, aiming a firm kick towards Lissy. "Heads up!"

Roman huffed irritably, kicking up grass as she walked over to his 'spot'. He looked back over his shoulder and snarled at Steve. It chaffed him to know that someone shared the blood of his brother, even though he was the twin.
Lissy spread her legs out, getting in position before it was even kicked to her. She laughed, "Thats amazing." When the ball came at her, she kicked it to her left towards Roman, who caught the lighter kick. "No, Roman! You can't use your hands."
He frowned. What kind of game was this? The toddler sat the ball down on the ground infront of him and looked up at Steve before kicking it, leaving three grooves in the side because of his claws.

Steve darted forward, knocking the ball back at Roman with his head. "Soccer's a weird game. We aren't playing by all the rules but you can't use your hands. You can only kick it or use your head and if you aren't careful, you can get hurt using your head." he explained.
"So, what combo are you, Roman?" he decided to ignore the other boy's irritation, "since you're his twin are you like his opposite or something?"

Roman openly gaped. That was....that was really cool! He dove for the ball and barely made contact, but enough to send it to Elisabetta. "W'waf and chasteetee. We's diff'net"
Lissy caught the ball with the inside of her calf and bounced it up, bopping it off her knee, head and foot before kicking it back to Roman, who passed it off to Steve. "Soccer is a weird game, but not as weird as them. Their complete opposites. Seems like someone in the labs would have said 'no' on that one." She shrugged. Then again, she'd seen weirder things.
"What about you, Steve? Do you have any siblings from the labs?"

Steve grinned at Roman, "Hey, that's cool anyway." he assured the other boy before trying the knee thing a couple of times before shooting a kick back to Lissy.
"Eh, the people there are weird in general. Seriously." he pointed out, "But nope, I don't have any family from there. All of my brothers came from those kids in the Durem Caves. And they're all super girly."

Roman laughed sarcastically. "No good. Bro'ders who are sisters." He obviously preferred one sex over the other, mainly because thats what his twin was, but still. The toddler had enough experience with household's run by girls to feel sympathetic.
"Seriously." She toyed around with the ball before popping it over to Roman, who unintentionally bounced it off his head at Steve. "Their all girly? How many brothers do you have?"

Steve nodded, "Yeah I know - I can't walk around my house without getting covered in glitter!" he kicked the ball normally this time.
"Though, gotta say, having 3 moms also makes that a bit bad too."
The boy nodded with an eyeroll to Lissy, his tentacles nodding for emphasis, "Yep! All three. Roshan's the least but he giggles at stuff and likes girly movies. Riya's all into cuddling little plushies and cuddling Bailey and looking pretty. And Aiden's a little purple boy with butterfly wings that sprinkle weird sparkles we have to make him wear a collar for, and he wears a feather boa!"

Lissy laughed, brushing her pigtails away from her face to move to the side. Her tentacles were bored, so they wrapped up around her waist, waiting to do something funner. "I'd say! Your a lone boat in the estrogene ocean, dude."
She paused and looked at Steve. "Cuddling Bailey? I kinda like that quality. Bailey's cuddly and could use a good friend." She giggled at the look on Roman's face when Steve listed all the girly stuff his brother's did. "Oh come on, Roman. You love feathers."
"Mine!" He huffed, kicking the ball, wings flared out. "Collars an' spar'cels are for joo, not us."
