The movie itself is based off the 300 comic but the story of course is based off the historical battle.
It was a good movie in the comic genre but it should not be looked at in a historical light... there where a few things they got wrong and a few characters that never existed!
Like the exact manner in which the Spartans marched to war[with no armor, i mean?] to the idea of the Persians having monsters unless the ancient Greeks were more paranoid than we gave them credit for?
I know there is more, but where do we start in examining the movie, Jess?
