Her tan eyes opened in response to the sunlight. She looked up out of her den, staring straight into the daylight. Her pupils dialated painfully in response to the mid-day light. Now that- that had been a nice nap. She was quite pleased with herself. She had had a perfectly uneventful day, but... Well, she was starving. The Kirsa emerged from her den with a yawn.

The den was not her own- it was dug by some other creature and then abandoned, but Xoltos had taken it after that. She had lucked out in finding the place- no need to dig or anything. She shook and remembered why she had napped in there instead of in the sun- it was a little warm. Not hot, but warm. She flicked an ear and shook off the last dirt particles from her fur before sniffing for any scents on the wind- any of food. Her stomach ruled her mind quite often, so that was what drove her actions this afternoon.

One stretch and she thought of being off. She thought of it, but decided.... Nah, not worth it. Not yet. She sat in the sun to warm her fur for a little while, pondering the least energy-intensive way to get some decent food around here.
