This is a competition for all of the guilds Ranged Characters. It is as simple as it sounds, a shooting contest (although any ranged weapon users may enter).
The Gaming Mechanism is as follows: The Target is a Circle. With 10 Areas laid out in rings around each other. The Bulls eye is worth 10pts. The outer ring is worth 1pt.
This is Represented by throwing a D12 dice with your post (Rp your character taking the shot). A Final result of 11 or 12 is a miss.
For every level you have taken in ranged weaponry, you gain 1 modification point for the duration of the tournament. This is a one use point and lowers your dice roll by 1.
Any use of the Modification point is declared in your next post following the shot (as is any reaction to the shot your character may have).
The competition is 5 Rounds with all scores from these rounds being added for a final result. The winner is the person with the highest score at the end. In the event of a draw for 1st place there will be a sudden death round between the persons concerned. Turn order will be determined on a basis of who arrives 1st.
This is a winner takes all tournament with the Prize being 250LP Multiplied by the number of entrants. (So if 5 people enter it would be 1250LP prize).
A user may enter any number of their characters so long as they have levels in a ranged weapon. As the prize affects their Character not the user.
To enter just RP your character turning up to the competition ring in this Thread.
Note: This area is seperate to both the main RP and the Deathaporium. So even if your character is already engaged in both these areas you may still enter the shooting contest. ~See we give you lots of chances to get LP~

Morris had just finished at the signing up desk for the Competition, when came over the target range. He was looking forward to the competition as he had been hard at work for the last few weeks and this was his chance to enjoy himself.
'Morris to the firing point please'. A Human official called. Morris took out his trusted Flintlock pistol. as he went to the point.
'In your own time carry on' the official told him. So Morris cocked the pistol and stood side on to the target his left arm forward with the pistol in hand. He closed his right eye and slowed his breathing. Gently he squeezed the trigger.

Hara just finished signing up as she heard the first shot she looked over to see a human taking a shot at the target she smiled with the beauty of a gun shot with out a scream following it was unbelievably pleasant. i smiles stretched across her face as she took a deep breath of the gun powder in the air. "Miss, get in position." Hara nodded excited fro the first time in a long time and stepped up to where she would be shooting. "the joyous sound of guns... beautiful." She meant to say to herself but the man who was helping here answered. "it depends on the person miss. Take your time." Hara Leaned back and took the gun from her boot. She put her arm out straight and looked down the length of her arm and let of a shot.

Morris' face was indifferent as his opening shot scored 6, "not great but not too bad either." As he was called back to the firing point, he holstered his pistol and drew his rifle from his back. Attached the loading mechanism, put the butt of the rifle firmly into his right shoulder and began to control his breathing. Whilst holding his breath slightly he squeezed the trigger.

Hara was not really bothered by the score she got she just enjoyed shooting her gun for no reason! Always a good old laugh! She looked over to the man who shot and smiled hugely while putting her rifle away and lifting up her boot. She did what seemed like a jolly kick of the heel while jumping in the air and a bullet flew from her boot.

hara really was not happy with the scores she was achieving and her hair stood on end as her mood depleted and her body raised in heat. she pulled her rifle from her back and had an insanely scary grin on face she shot once more while snapping her teeth.

3!?!?!? Morris couldn't believe it, where has his concentration gone he wondered. He took a moment to compose himself. This time instead of shooting with the rifle in his shoulder he fired from his hip, normally a bad idea, but Morris was feeling lucky.

Hara had a feeling building inside her a good shot but not enough to get cocky about she needed to concentrate and put all her energy's into this shot. Stood side on left foot pointing towards her target and she raised her pistol from her holster and took aim. she was ready for her final shot..

"Its a draw!" The announcer called out. "27 points for each contestant." The announcer pasued for a moment." This will require a sudden death shoot out, each person gets one shot at the target each untill a winner can be decided".
Morris took his place at the firing point first. With the butt of his rifle securely in his shoulder, Morris took aim and squeezed trhe trigger.

The announcer called out in an unaturally loud voice "The winner is Morris!" And with that the contest ended.
