Powers: Coyote is a trickster, most of his powers he gave to Writ focus on manipulating people and his environment. The results of using these powers aren't always beneficial to Writ, so most of the time, he plays the Game with wit alone. He doesn't have any blatantly offensive powers, so most of the time he uses his powers to retreat.
Let's get this party started. (Minor)- Everything in the world tends to lean towards disorder, and Tricksters thrive on that. Things progressively get disorderly around him. People in his presence get more impulsive, quicker to anger or to joy. Explosions around him get bigger and more destructive. Things that are chaotic in nature intensify. The rule of thumb for this power is that the more chaotic something is, the faster it'll get worse/better around Writ. It's easier to see the results of Writ's presence in an angry mob than it is than a orderly a police station.
Eye Juggling (Minor)-While Coyote could take out his own eyes and juggle them, Writ has a less graphic offshoot of that power. In exchange for the sight in one of his eyes, he can take the point of view of anyone or anything that he can see living (Humans, animals) or otherwise (Cameras, stuffed toys, anything that can be a representative of an “Eye”) This also means he can “juggle” his eyes to get different viewpoints. If Writ's borrowing the eyesight of someone who looks up to a camera, he can transfer his sight to the camera.
Great Spirit's gift (Minor)-When Writ is in immediate, life threatening danger, he can turn something in his hands into a tool that could help him. The Great spirit can give him anything that would deem useful in his situation. It could be anything, though the usefulness of the tool isn't always obvious. It would be up to Writ to figure out what to do with what he's given.
Trust me (Minor)- It takes a little bit of give on the other end for a trick to start. With a mix of his friendly personality and a little bit of leverage provided by the aura he gives off, people have an easier time trusting him.
A shape for every story (Major)- Writ can change pretty much every aspect of his appearance as he sees fit. He can tweak his appearance from noticable things such as height and skin color- to more subtle changes like his ears. He could change into totally different people if he wanted to. Unfortunately, like most of the Trickster's powers, there's always a flaw- the shapeshifting doesn't change Writ's voice. Another offshoot of this power is his ability to change into a full-grown Coyote.
Trickster's persistence (Major)- In almost every story of Coyote, Coyote usually ends up hurt or dead. There's also stories of Coyote coming back to life. In reality, Coyote's stubbornness comes in the form of his remarkable healing rate. Writ inherited this power at a smaller scale. He can pretty much heal up anything short of a decapitation or a gunshot to the head. The deeper and more serious the wound, the longer it takes to heal. It also leaves scars. It's a far cry from immortality, but it's a useful power when the hospital isn't an option.
