The ground underneath her clicked when she walked. Well, that wasn't exactly true, considering her shoes were the ones really clicking, but for the meantime she was impatient. Rosalind was supposed to meet her at Destiny Towers at 10pm. Granted, Perseus was still five minutes early to the engagement, but still. For some reason she was more impatient than normal, and it nagged her in the back of her mind. The girl leaned against the railing behind her, and after a minute jumped up a bit to be sitting on the top of it. There was no guarantee that they would even meet anyone that night, but even the thought of getting in another fight made her nervous. But at the same time it made her blood rush; until her limbs tingled and her heart beat faster. There was something right and wrong about everything, and that line was an easy one for Perseus to walk. She did have ambitions to be a lawyer, after all. The senshi fiddled with her wrist cuffs, idly spinning the bronze bracers around and around. They were tight, but not uncomfortable, almost as if they had been molded to her exact form. Not that she was surprised at this, considering that the whole entire uniform came custom tailored. Some of the best tailored clothes she had ever worn at that, considering they always came out of the 'wash' looking like new, dirt free and repaired just as they had been when she'd been unlocked. Perseus clicked the watch off of her bodice, checking the time. The watch was certainly handy enough, though she didn't know its purpose. It was important, she knew that. Three minutes now, until their appointed meeting time. The sailor was anxious to get things underway, and then to get home and take a well deserved bubble bath. Her muscles were still aching from being toned and worked on for the last few months. It was worth it though, Perseus was more in shape than she'd ever been. The clock ticked as she locked it back into place, and the girl who owned it sat there, listening to the sounds of Destiny City at night.

10:03PM.
Rosalind, hands on hips, back arched, chin and nose up, appeared in Perseus' vision from afar. She strutted forward, as if on a catwalk, in her sailor soldier attire. Donning this garb not only bestowed her the powers of Wealth, but also an even more tremendous amount of self-worth and confidence.
Stopping before Sailor Perseus, Rosalind brought her feet together, her golden heels clacking on the pavement. "I apologize for being fashionably late," she said, "hopefully, you were not waiting too long for me?" It was impossible to tell if she was genuine with her apology, but if Perseus had known Rosalind, she would have known that she never apologized, so it must have been.
"Has there been any strange activity?" she asked while flipping a ringlet behind her shoulder. "If not, we can circle around the area a few times and call it a night."
Oh, Rosalind hoped.

At the sound of heels clicking in the distance, Perseus's bright eyes snapped up, immediately homing in on the soldier of wealth strutting towards her. Three minutes late wasn't so bad, but it was still late. Stepping off of her perch, she waited for the girl with an eyebrow raised. "My dear, there is being fashionably late, and then there is just being late. You might care to learn which is which." Fashionably late her a**. Adira knew fashionably late like she knew the back of her hand, this was not an instance of it. Regardless, she had been lucky that the girl had showed up close to on time. After all, her bathtub was beckoning even from here, in the landscaped surrounding of Destiny Towers. The girl smoothed out her ribbons before looking back up at the girl in front of her. Well, at least she was down to business, that was something that Perseus could respect. "No, nothing strange. I'm up for a short patrol tonight though." Senshi business was trying sometimes.

Rosalind blinked a few times. Was that... Sass? "Whatever you say, Perseus," she retorted, "I am never anything less than fashionable." She said this as she ran her hands through the air before her attire (it looked as if she could have followed it up by adding a Ta-da!).
"At any rate," she added, "I am fashionable, and I was late. That's all there is to it." Rosalind crossed her arms and looked Perseus over as she straightened out her garment and mentioned nothing out of the ordinary.
"That's absolutely wonderful, less work for us to do," Rosalind chirped happily. "No nasty battles for us tonight!" She traipsed forward, around the proximity of Destiny Tower, and waited for her sailor companion to follow.
"So, anyways," she started, "how are you on this lovely evening?"

Unfortunately for Rosalind, there was something very nasty lurking in the shadows of Destiny Tower, high above their heads. Black Lady Serenity, the lost princess of Crystal Tokyo, was in a very foul mood that night. Not only had the Negaverse been absolutely unresponsive to any of her queries, it was if they had been doing nothing but throwing parties the whole time! Absolutely no information to speak of, no idea if her mother or father might be walking this earth, let alone their courts!
To put it simply, she was lonely, and growing desperate that she would ever again find her family - her place in the world.
So when snobby Rosalind's words floated up to crystal-hung ears on the Observation Deck of Destiny Tower, a cruel smile twisted her youthfully pretty features. There was only a thought involved, and the Lady was on the ground at the base of the tower, her eerie and childlike laughter floating out into the night in front of the pair. One step, then two brought her black-draped figure and streamers of bright pink hair into view, the inverted sigil on her forehead in sharp relief against Black Lady's skin.
"No nasty battle? If you will stand still, I will just destroy you then!" The handle of her magnifying glass was held lightly against her cheek, the inverted crescent pointing out at the girls. Just a thought, and dark energy would go shooting from it and right through them. A voice in the princess' head told her that killing them was forbidden, but she didn't care right now.
Right now, she was angry.

"I've been alright..." Perseus was going to say more, and ask her in kind (it was only polite, after all), when a chill hit her spine. It not only hit her spine, but coated it, and then made her shiver. It was an aura unlike any she had ever felt before. It was familiar, like the smell of something you remembered from childhood, but it was tainted too. There was something wrong about it all over, and she couldn't help but be alarmed by it. "Who are you?" The woman in front of them looked interesting, and it was certainly unlike any magical costume she'd seen before. It was more negaverse than senshi, that was for sure, but she hadn't seen any negaversers that were quite that extravagant. Maybe she was their princess? Did they have a princess? Perseus took a strong stance facing the other girl, despite a nagging feeling in her mind to run away. Her eyes, however, looked confused. She couldn't figure out this girl in her mind.

Rosalind did indeed feel the awful, horrendous aura pang in her heart, but being a creature of appearances, she didn't heed that warning too much.
"Destroy? Us?" She scoffed, looked over her clothing, and continued, "what could a trollop like you do besides dress awfully?" Taking a defensive stance next to Perseus, Rosalind continued to look over the possible opponent in disdain.
Something in the back of her brain told her that this woman meant business, but she just looked so trampy and harmless that Rosalind felt a little confident before her.

The Lady was totally unsure what a 'trollop' might be, but there decidedly was the feeling that it was not at all something good to be. The comment on her clothing was flicked off with minor irritation - the senshi was a riotous clash of green and yellow that made her look like she was akin to a stoplight! That horrible little girl laugh came from her adult lips and both the crescent on her forehead and the one inside the glass lit up.
"I am Black Lady Serenity, and I will show you what I can do, and then you will die. It is very easy to say." A flicker of the crescent, and dark energy shot out of the glass in a beam towards the pair, deadly and painful should it strike. "You are so weak, it should not take more than one hit!" And then she would move on, so that she was not caught doing such a thing. There was a minor neutrality that she was interested in keeping - it kept the main bulk of the senshi on their wary toes. After all, was she not Black Lady Serenity?

The sailor scout almost rolled her eyes at Rosalind comment. Clearly, mocking the dark aura'd being in front of them was not the smartest thing to do. However, it didn't seem to phase her all that much. A few other things bothered her mind about Black Lady Serenity, things that wouldn't stop nagging at the back of Perseus's mind. A crescent moon, while inverted, was still a crescent moon. The name. She didn't have too much time to think it over while she dodged the energy beam coming her way. Perseus had barely enough time to dodge out of the way. A corner of her cape had been severed, and the pavement stung where it hit skin. "The cat. The cat told me about you. Lady Serenity." Hopefully it would be enough to bargain with. It was terribly rude for Perseus to call Chloe 'the cat', but the sailor was more focused on getting up off the ground and into some semblance of a fighting stance.

Rosalind stared at Black Lady with a quirked eyebrow. "What? Speaky proper English, please? Hardly worth the effort of trying to decipher what your gums flap out," she spat. The word die was pretty clear, though, but Rosalind was just being Rosalind-- you know, bratty, all that. She didn't heed the 'warning' or whatever it was Black Lady Serenity had shouted at them before attacking.
And then, as the awful beam forced its way towards the lovely duo, Rosalind couldn't help but make an "oh, my" face (a rich girl equivalent of "oh s**t") and welp out "wuahhhhhh!" as she lunged out of the way. The beam sounded awful! And the fact that it was aimed towards her made it that much more awful. Rosalind wanted to look like a graceful creature of might, like a gazelle, as she dodged the nasty black electricity, but she lunged out of the way, did a weird half-twirl, and then lost her balance and fell into a bush.
The Soldier of Wealth quickly recovered, pulled a twig out of her hair as she did so, and then looked over Perseus as she spoke. Rosalind was glad that she wasn't fatally wounded. She still looked at Black Lady Serenity with an ever-confident expression, even after the horrifying display of raw power.
But this time she would keep her mouth shut.

A childish giggle erupted from the Lady's throat at watching the crass Rosalind crash into the bushes, skirts flying around her, perfect curls marred by the fall and now frazzled. She didn't look so very 'wealthy' now, did she? It was decidedly eerie though, one of those sounds you didn't expect to hear from a grown woman, and especially not one that was trying to kill you. A rich chuckle, a cold spate of laughter, but never a high-pitched giggle. One of the many ways that Black Lady Serenity was truly a girl out of her time, her place, and her body!
It stopped almost dead, however, when mention of 'the cat' came to her ears. "Cat? You have a cat?" The mirror shifted aim to Perseus, putting her in the proverbial hot seat as it were. "You will tell me about this, or I will fire. Or I will not fire." Her head tilted to the side a little, smile absent and cruel. "You will not know until I do." The mirror was twirled lightly in her hand before caught and pointed again. Rosalind was not a concern or a worry to her, though that was probably unwise.
But when was Black Lady ever wise?

It had worked! Evil princess, successfully distracted. Er wait, was that a good thing? She seemed even more focused now than before, and unfortunately for Perseus, that focus was on her. "The cat isn't mine? I don't own a cat. But she told me about you when we met." The sailor angled herself so the Lady's gaze would follow her across the terrace.
Hopefully, if Rosalind was smart enough to keep quiet, this meant she could pull a sneak attack. Silver blue eyes were kept locked on Black Lady's startlingly pink ones, but inside she was willing every fiber of her being at hoping Rosalind got the hint. It was possibly their only way out, and Perseus didn't want to be stuck here with an evil superpower. "The lost moon princess. But you're not her, are you?" She felt all sorts wrong associated with this version of the moon princess, but the feeling of loyalty was there regardless, underneath bone chilling warnings of evil. For now, Perseus would be heeding the warnings, and ignoring the feeling of familiarity.

Perseus' eyes flickered once. They flickered twice. And then they flickered three times-- geeze, how many hints did Rosalind need?! The Soldier of Illusion was obviously trying to signal to her comrade to "GET HER, GET HER, GET HER, NOW!!" but Rosalind was too busy listening to Black Lady's chopped-up excuse for the language she called English. From what she had gathered, the pink-haired harlot was talking about cats. Or something.
But finally, Rosalind noticed one of Perseus' subtle signals to get the damn woman. She looked around for something to strike with; crowbars were too barbaric and unbecoming of a lady, and her magical attack didn't pack enough oomph to actually extensively damage their adversary. So, Sailor Rosalind did the next best thing she could think of-- she removed one of her solid-gold pumps and threw it (with as much force as she could muster) at Black Lady's head.
Hopefully it'd do something worthwhile.
