What are some recent movies you've seen? (in theater or on DVD) What did you think of them?
I recently saw the new movie "Grown Ups."
I thought it was pretty funny. I am not a big fan of Adam Sandler, but I think David Spade and that guy from King of Queens is funny. And Chris Rock is funny too. I'm not a big fan of Rob Schnider, but he and Adam Sandler were funny in it, I thought. I'd recommend it. It's not too deep, but it's humorous and managed to keep my attention.
I'm wanting to see Avatar and Eclipse sometime. Maybe next week, because movies are discounted monday through thursday around here. biggrin And free popcorn. Wooooot!
So what have you seen? Did you like it or not, and why?

A great movie... Percy Jackson and the Olympians. It may be a movie based off the book series that was written for 13 year olds. Its still a good read and a great. Although a bit diffrent from the book.
My only COMPLAINTS about the movie was WHY in the HELL did they not put Dionysus in the movie. He plays a major role in the books.
another Complaint about the movie. Why oh why didnt they put the Epic fight between Aries, god of war and Percy. It was A VERY BIG PART of the book, and it wasnt in the movie.
other than that, it was a great movie.

James Cameron's Avatar. I watched it, not a bad movie. It could have been better. I don't know what the big fuss was about.... the " Next generation of graphics" if you look carefully you can see where they made edits in the movie. Like around the avatars. You can see a black line that kinda makes them look like they have been photoshopped into the scenes.

STUPID HOLLYWOOD...STUPID JAMES CAMERON.... why why.... some please tell me why....
The movie... the last airbender..... I want to see it...but the title ticks me off.....bad...... Its SUPPOSE TO BE AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER.... not just the last airbender..... errr..... but noooo, james cameron had to name his movie Avatar, so they couldnt name the Last airbender.... Avatar the last airbender. I dont see why not. ITS NOT THE SAME TITLE. and if people think its a sequel, they need to be slapped.... Way too diffrent types of movies. Hello..... come on...seriously......

I have seen Twilight, New moon.... and I was dissappointed. I dunno If I would PAY money to see Eclipse. I have heard somethings about it. Like adding an additional scene to the movie that wasnt in the book. I have read all 5 books.... yes and I mean 5....
Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, and The short second Life of Bree Tanner. I own them all... not that anyone cares or anything.... but....
I dunno... really I dunno... I might have someone ELSE rent it, so I can watch.

Blood the last Vampire. I loved the movie.... It was diffrent... it put things diffrently in the movie than it did in the anime... and yes I am talking about the newly releast one, not the animated movie. I loved it... it used both English, and japanese... keeping to its Origins.... and it had one of the coolist songs of all time in the movie... " What is it good for... absolutely nothing...." that song.
My complaint..... WHERE THE HELL WAS HAGI?!?!? or Solomon....for that matter. Those were my two favorite characters in the anime, and neither of them made an appearance in the movie. I liked Saya in the series too... she is 3rd on my list, hagi being the first, solomon the second.
So why werent they in the movie...... crying

A movie I saw... that really wasnt recently released....
The haunted Airman... starring Robert Pattison. ....
LET ME TELL YOU!!!! I WANT TO HURT WHOEVER MADE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT STOLE AWAY PERCIOUS TIME THAT I CAN NOT GET BACK!!!!! I WANT MY TIME BACK DARN NAMBIT!!!!!! AND I WANT TO HURT ROBERT PATTISON BECAUSE HIS ACTING SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Watched Repo Men. Was horribly dissapointed. I personally wasn't too crazy about Repo! The Generic Opera and thought hey this may be better! no. I shall tell you it is not better. It is actually worse. Far worse than just about anything I've ever seen. It sucked. Horribly. Damn you Jude Law for getting my hopes up, I loved Sherlock Holmes, I really expected more from you...I would gladly watch Repo! a hundred times over rather than to sit through another minute of Repo Men....don't watch that movie....ever.
