Freize walked down the sidewalk towards the house, eyeing it thoughtfully, Chael nestled safely in his arms. He had some work to get done, and everyone as home was busy as well, and so he had needed to find some outside help. He'd checked through the older Sin'aeis for one that Chael seemed to recognise, and had come across Ani. He'd decided to leave the little guy in her hands, and had called and made plans with the girl's guardian.
Now, here he was, dropping the little guy off. He stopped at the door and knocked loudly, his hand pulling away afterwards to pet over Chael's hair. The child giggled and swatted away his hand. He wasn't quite sure what was going on, but he knew he was going to see that girl who was friends with Flitch! That was good. He was hoping they could play and have fun.
Chael loved playing with friends.. And after that single meeting, he had claimed Ani one.

Kiita was watching the two not-even-a-foot-tall fenthry splash and play in the bath tub. She had been careful not to fill the tub too much...they weren't very big. While she supervised their fun, she heard the expected knock on the door downstairs. With a grin, she told the two young ones she'd be right back, then headed down the hall and desended down the stairs humming a random, but cheery tune.
When she opened the door, Kiita gave the two of them a friendly smile, "Hello! You must be Freize." And she glanced down at the baby boy in his arms, "And you must be Chael. Ani'll be glad to see you again I'm sure." Only thing was, her own little Sin girl had no idea she'd be babysitting this afternoon.
Anisia was in the kitchen, standing in the middle of the checkered floor with her hands on her hips and her head ever-so-slightly tilted to the side. Xor, the dragon "pet" she aquired from one of her quests, suggested cooking to occupy her boredom. Kiita seemed to busy to ask at the time, so she "accidently" forgot to run it across to her protector she was going to try and cook something. She made a "Hmmm" type of sound as a look of concentration crossed her face. What to make...what to make...
The dragon watched through the doorway safely beneath a table in the next room...gods only knew if this little girl could cook. But Ani had been set on this idea from the moment he suggested it...and he was almost sure this was a mistake. Normally, from what he gathered, females that walked on two legs liked to cook. What Kiita cooked had always been tasty...in its own way...but Anisia was only a little girl. Could she cook as well as the full-grown one?

The weremutt smiled warmly as the woman answered the door, giving a nod in greeting, "Ah, yes..." He shifted his weight slightly, moving to run a hand through his hair, holding his little guy with only one arm for the timebeing.
"Chael!" The baby echoed in agreement, smiling brightly up towards the woman, the ears in place of his ears flickering happily. He did so enjoy meeting new people, after all. He clapped his hands at the mention of Ani, remembering vaguely (somewhere in that baby mind of his) the name of someone he'd met briefly before. He wriggled about in his caretaker's grasp, forcing the older male to take him back into both arms.
"So... Shall I just drop him off with you?" Freize questioned idly now, one brow cocked in curiousity. "I should be back to get him in about... Well, five hours from now at the least. That is... Alright?" He really wasn't used to placing his children in any one's care besides Arafel or Hatori, and he wasn't sure it was something he wanted to do too often. Overprotective? Maybe just a little.
But you had to understand what it felt to lose a great deal before you understood how much you actually have to lose, and how much you don't want to lose it.
If that made any sense.
Chael reached towards this new lady as if he wanted her to hold him, intrigued by the idea of a new adult.
