Little bells chimed and jingled merrily as she went about her den, straightening the bedding of furs and straw at the back of the Pack Mother's den. She had been busy since she had earned her new rank, making things comfortable and hunting down little trinkets and playthings -bits of wood, bone, and stone- to help occupy the pack's puppies and aid in their games. Looking back on her finished work, she smiled in satisfaction. The den seemed cozy to her now, finished and tidy, and it warmed her heart to think of the den full of playing youngsters and new mothers, and eventually maybe some little ones of her own. She could dream, couldn't she?

Through the brush came the large Alpha, ready to lead his little bundles to the red and gold female that would be taking care of them. Macha seemed to be holding up well, but it was time to give her time to herself for a while. Perhaps even a bit of time with just the two of them.
"Madhuri." He bowed his head politely, his head lifting and given a bright, proud grin. He was a father once more and now there were six bundles to watch over. Double the ammount of his first litter. "I appreciate you taking care of these little ones." Though it was her job, he still of course appreciated her making sure it was taken care of. 
Sylria was the first to leave her father's side. She was much to eager to explore. She barked playfully and moved to jump onto the large red wolf, gnawing playfully on her ear. It wasn't hard enough to cause any real damage. She was just a bit of a trouble maker.
Being the Alpha's daughter meant she got away with a bit more than other pups, though she was too young to understand that. All she knew was that she wanted to play. Much more timid than her sister, Haiel trot slowly towards the Pack Mother with more understanding. This female was to watch over them, yes? She missed her mother, though.. Her eyes moved back to look at her father, looking him over before moving to settle on one of the mounds of furr. It was soft, she nuzzled into it and gave a happy sigh. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad afterall.

 Neptune was not interested in seeing other pups right now. He was headachy, tired, puffy-eyed, and naturally not wont to like playing kiddy games. He had gained little sleep the night before, and now the very idea of being forced into close quarters with his peers made him seethe inwardly. Why were his parents forcing him into this? Why? He didn't /need/ to be put in any nursery, thank you very much. He wasn't a risk taker, not openly wandering off into the forest, not trying to overstep his boundaries - no, he was quiet, rule-abiding pup who kept to himself and preferred it that way.
So right now the idea of being with the pack mother made it, to him that moment, the equivalent of hell on Telk.
Better, he already saw a she-pup showing more energy than he could muster up ahead. Huffing a soft growl to himself, Neptune forced his paws onward, squinting his eyes against the light and hastening forward - just to find shade, not out of any eagerness to meet anyone this too-freaking-bright day. All he wanted to do was nap the afternoon away, but his wishes were hardly ever granted he knew.

 Aegean trotted along in his cranky brother's wake, while Neptune hated what he considered over protectiveness Aegean didn't mind so very much - at the very least it made the day a bit more interested then sitting along in their own den would be. And unlike his brother Aegean wasn't interested in sleeping the afternoon away.
"best hope she dosen't take a shinging to you" He egged his brother on as he noticed the active female up ahead. "Maybe I'll tell her you like her" He added with a slight wag of hi tail and twitch of his lips at the amusing prospect.

 If Aduial lagged behind her sisters somewhat, it was only because she carried herself with a measure of poise that was unnatural for a pup. She walked in a way that suggested she hated getting dirty, carrying herself forward with tentative pawsteps that gave her a slow, sauntering sort of gait.
As her siblings drew to a halt before the jewelry-adorned red female, Aduial too came to a stop, though lingered near to her father's legs, in shyness perhaps, or in a slight gesture of ownership, as though making it quite clear that this powerful alpha was her Daddy.
She heard the approach of two male pups, but ignored them for the moment, keeping her eyes set curiously upon the pack nanny, soft smile upon her black maw.

 Athena was the first of her siblings to make her way to the pack mother's den. She probably should have waited for Gaia and Cern but her curiosity had gotten the best of her. There were new pups in the pack, ones she had yet to meet, but before she could meet them she needed to study them like everything else. Paws cared her quickly, but not too quickly, towards the den and her first glimpse at the newest pups. Her eyes immediately fell on three of them though she knew there were more, clearly they were just running late - not the best thing to be doing on your first day of play, even if they were the Alpha's pups.
Athena also spotted Neptune and his one brothers, Aegean, had already gotten there as well. Maybe they could be civil with each other for the benefit of the others, but ever since she had won that little hunting game her friendship with those two had been quite strained. Taking a seat not far from the pair Athena turned her attention to the three girls. Time to sit back and observe, figure them out before she was introduced to them.
