Midday, an important time for Karvanis. Every day when the sun was at its highest Karvanis would future to waters edge and wash his vibrant pelt. A super hero has to look clean, he would say to himself, confident that being clean would somehow make him be that more appealing that much more intimidating. As per usual, Karvs was off in his own world, doing his thing. Rarely ever actually speaking to others, let alone saving them. Karvs spent most of his days alone in his own world, he was okay with this, to him it was like a form of training or practice for when a real villian appeared and the time to prove himself would happen.

On this paticular day however, Karvs was feeling extra bold. Tired of waiting around for something to happen, he decieded today he would try and be a little more open, a little more outgoing. Wether or not he'd have the chance tho.. thats another story.

Kelda`Hades was not really in a crazy good mood, she was neutral. Her pelt had finished drying, the male hyena she’d just met was no longer with her and the day seemed to keep it’s sunny glory she was promised earlier. It was turning out to be an okay day. Okay until her nose caught the scent of a lion, her above all hates lay with these large creatures, huge, hungry and out to get dogs like herself. She quivered lightly, pelts giving a gentle shake.

“What could he be prowling around for?” She grumbled and took a few more hesitant steps towards the scent, she was a bold creature at heart, not courageous, mainly curious and was known to wander head strong into something. Going cautiously she spotted him, the male was a bright pelted male, mane thick and very luscious. “What a pelt, and whats he doing?” Her mind whirred as he moved, appearing very graceful, much unlike herself, she decided to approach, but approach with caution.

Karvanis was dunking his head in and out of the water, when he caught the reflection in the water of the approaching hyena. Slowly raising his head, he stared at her for a few moments blinking. Thinking to himself, "is that.. a hyena?'. Curious as he was, he took a few strides towards Kelda, looking at her intently for a few more minutes befure bursting out "WOW! Are you.. a Hyena?" he asked with such an innocent tone.

Walking right up beside her, he walked around her a few times, smelling her, looking at the vibrant green locks over her face. Karvs was mesmerized by this beauty. Bright colors attracted his attention, he always felt that only good guys could have such bright colors. This had been the first time he had ever encountered a Hyena, he was fascinated by her. He found her oddly attractive too, but blamed it on the bright hair. Nervous and unsure what to do, he took a proud stance, cleared his throat and said "Hello, Maiden."

"Ohmy..." She leaped back in defense, head lowering, eye's narrowing and feet spread just enough apart to save herself from any tragedy this bulky male may bring. Though the only tragedy he brought seemed to be a stupid question. She snerked lightly and relaxedherself, tail loosely waving behind her. Flipping her bangs a bit better from her face she smiles 'sweetly' and eyeballs the male with adislike she couldn't shake. "Yes, yes I am a Hyena. What..!? Never seen one before young lion?" She almost burst out laughing, he had to have just grown if he hadn't seen a hyena. Kelda held herself under tight restrain there and decided to seat herself.

"The better question in this conversation.. would be why were you dunking your head in that water?" Her head sat still as could be, eye's narrowed and face contorted into a funny look. She was appearing almost weirded out by her current situation and meeting of the lion with tendencies more odd then that of a rabid dog.

Karvs looked to the water, and back to the Hyena. "Hygine is an important aspect to being a hero." he said with an almost matter of fact tone. "Have you never met a hero before, Maiden?" he said trying to sound proffesional and cool.

Karvs struggled to try and look Heroic before her, tho not sure how to do so. He stood Proud and proper, and kept a friendly look upon his face. Karvs doesn't get the chance to sit and talk with anyone of the opposite gender, so this was a big deal to him. He let his tail sway back and forth, showing of the bright yellow tuff, he flicked his head and let the beads of water make his mane sparkle as if it was magical. He was hoping to impress.

Head cocked to one side, bangs swaying in an almost non-existent breeze, eye's and nose screwed up nito a weird face and stance relaxed more than before. 'What on earth is this lion doing?' she thought sourly, a waste of her time it seemed. "Maiden..?" She asked curiously, tone not changing, though her mood certainly had. "My name is Kelda`Hades. What's a Super Hero?' She asked quizzically. Her nose scrunching a little when she says it then relaxing. Her unsurity of the words echoed in her voice. Sounded just as strange as the fellow himself.

She waited patiently for an answer, eying the 'threat' or 'saviour' whichever he was to say what she wanted him to say. She was wondering slowly if lions were really meant to be feared.

Karvs face scrunched as he thought of how to best answer Kelda. Hes never been asked what a Hero was before. He thought this term was understood by everyone.

"Well, you see a Super Hero is someone who does great deeds without rewards" he said nodding. "Saving a Maiden in distress, or fighting off a great evil" he smiled. "Being a Hero is hard work, but someone has to do it!" he giggled a little before regaining his poise.

Kelda gave a snort and began to laugh,a ppearing to be with him, but in her heart was truly at him. "And now.. what deedshave you done oh great Super Hero!?" She asked, a drop of sarcasm hitting er tone and an impossible to get rid of look on her face that screamed what was she dealing with. She didn't know anyone personally taht coudl keep a straight face with this male, but then again she barely knew anyone. Not that knowing people really mattered to her, she had herself.

Karvs looked down in despair. "Well, nothing yet I guess..." the lion plumped down on his rear. Kelda had hit a soft spot for Karvs. He was confident he was a super hero, he just hadn't had his chance to show it yet. But her words still stung. "Just because I haven't done anything yet, doesn't mean i'm not tho!" he looked up, forcing a smile, trying not to look defeated by her bitter words.

Kel eyed him up and down, he meant good by his words. Crazy or not she was tearing him apart and deep down she cared and the hurt look in her eyes made her force her own smile and made her digup random words of encouragement. "Well.. don't get down, your eye's speak far more then your words. I'm sure.. someone might need your, uh help!" She made her self smile more broadly and then relaxed into her norm a bit after her small speech.

Karvs raised his head up high again, feeling a little better, he smiled at Kelda. "Thanks!" he said before suddenly releasing he had not mentioned his name to her "..I'm Karvanis." he said quickly trying not to seem rude or forgetful. Turning his head he looked out over the water "But its alright if no one believes me." he said with a rather calm voice "A real hero doesn't do things for fame and glory, he does it to help." he turned his head back, his smile sincere.

"Kelda`Hades. It's a.. pleasure to meet you!" She smiled almost sincerely and nudged the conversation to try an move it from anything taht'd bring up heroism. "Soo.. cleaning eh? I could use a bathe myself." She said and stood before leaping into the water, creating a large splash. She imagined that Karvanis was soaked with her cannonball like pounce.

Karvs sat on the shore, admiring Kelda as she jumped in. This was the first time a female had stopped to talk with him before, usually everyone sees him acting funny and ignores. Karvs thought it was nice to have a little quiet time talking. He sat there and smiled as he watched her swim.

She felt watched, but ignored it.. she had half expected him to jump in, but he was a strange one she recalled and laughe dto herself queitly before dunking and celaning herself, today had been weirdly productive and she was okay with that.
