Shadow sat in a glassed cage. He had very little room, arms bound behind his back. Shadow was sitting up, his legs against his chest, and his neko taik around his legs.

Makoto was placed into a medium sized cage. Makoto turned and glared at the people who placed him there. "Great..my kimono is going to get filthy!" Makoto complained.

Shadpw opened his eyes, seeing another slave being placed in a cage, large then Shadow's own. "You shouldn't complain, or you may get beaten", Shadow told the male across from him.

Makoto looked to the boy and titled his head. "Beaten?" Makoto scoffed. "I've been beaten plenty of times" Makoto said as he looked down in sadness and anger.

Shadow sighed. "Tied up like me, and then beaten, and used for anything they want . . .", Shadow said, trailing off into space remebering, and then shivered at the thought.

Makoto sighed. "I can't stand this!" Makoto held his hand out infront of his cage. "Light!" His hand shot a light beam at the cage but didn't effect it. "What? my enchants don't work!?" Makoto growled.

Shadow sighed. "Elementa, Vampire and Werewolf strength and speed, magics, slyness, and everyhign else proof", Shadow told the male. "Everything we can try, it either hits back, or has no effect. I can't even fit through these bares. The cage your put in, it was made for you speices", Shadow explained.

"Oh...." Makoto said sad like. The guards finally realized what Makoto did. Two walk to his cage. "Hey! Knock it off you rat!" The guard yelled. "Why not stick your head closer you fat wast of space!" Makoto yelled. "Why you!" The guard put a crystal infront of Makoto. Makoto whimpered and moved back. "Ether crystal..great" Said Makoto as the guards walked away.

Shadow titled his head. "Um . . . cyrstal bad for you kind", Shadow asked quitely, not want the gaurds heaar him talking.

Makoto was breathing heavily. "Enchanters like me are weak to ether crystals because they drain our life force..oh by the way..im Makoto" Makoto moved his hair out his eyes regaining his steady breaths.

Shadow nodded, showing he understood. "I'm Shadow", Shadow simply said. "Are you sure your alright", Shadow asked, remebering the cat n** that they put in there. He barely remebered it, it made him feel so high.

Makoto looked to shadow and smiled warmly. "Shadow,don't worry i'm fine" Makoto was clearly wasn't telling the truth.

Shadow gave up, knowing he was lieing. "Ok", Shadow simply said, closing his eyes again.

Makoto looked his cages floor. "I really do hate being in cages" Makoto looked around his cage hoping something could help with his escape.
