 The Tarminac Woods are a place of despair and ruin. The very air of the place is oppressive, the natural life there appearing to encrouch upon all trepassers. Inhabitants of the Woods are dishonorable, savage bandits, the darkest nature of their hearts driven to the surface by the very essesnce of there surroundings. in the very heart of this place is the pub and in known as the Shady oak.

Kyra looked around and noticed she was at the edge of the woods. "Cool! That was fun" she said excitedly with a smile.
Seena appeared beside her and put a hand on her shoulder. "Chill Kyra. It's not that exciting" she told her.
Kyra frowned. "Ya don't have to ruin my excitement. I'm bored i have to do something" she grumbled.

The Tarminac woods were eerything Lorely described to Sinnius, he could just feel the essence of darkness here, if he was right, he would be stronger here. Doruu on the other hand was weaker, the more eil a place was, the more useless he was. The little ninja trudged the path groggily, and Sinnius had to hand him some grotto water, he himself hated it but Doruu saw it as 'Healthy Red Bull'

Not fifty paces into the woods a band of men about fifty strong appeared to block the path.
"Pay the Toll pay the toll. One life or none a'tall!" the apparent leader jeered, maniac grins on every face.

Kyra and Seena followed the boys up the path, talking quietly to each other. "I don't like this place Flame. Not one bit. Everything about it gives me the creeps" Kyra said as she glanced to their sides.
Seena laughed at her. "I like it here. It's homey. You'd like it better if you had stayed at home with me. But i don't blame you for running away, you thought we were dead. It's only natural to want to get away from that" she said. She liked the atmosphere here. It reminded her alot of the forest they had lived in. Neither of them appeared to have paid any attention the men who stopped them.

Sinnius smiled with amusement and put a hand on Nimsarn. "Hmph, either move, or your blood will stain this already defiled forest..." He said, not wantingany interruptions, the quicker they got to the liquor, the better. Doruu put his hand on his katana, he knew Sinnius was too stupid to do this alone.

THe men shifted impatiantly, muttering non-too politely at the group that had entered their turf. The leader spoke again. "Those who thread this pass must pay the toll! One life or none a'tall!"

Seena noticed the men and nudged Kyra. She took hold of her katana, ready to unsheath it if necessary.
Kyra didn't even make it seem like she was going to use her swords, because she wouldn't. She didn't like violence and wouldn't use her weapons to cause it if possible. She folded her hands beind her back and didn't seem to be paying attention.

Without another word the men lunged forth with blinding speed, three of them jumping Seena and pinning her to the ground, three more quickly doing the same to Kyra.

Kyra snapped out of her daze. "Hey that's not nice! What the hell do you think you're doing?" she complained loudly to the men pinning her down.
Seena sighed in exasperation. "Obviously these idiots have no manners. I knew something like this was going to happen. I told you when we left. I kinda wish we'd dragged Rya out here too" she said to Kyra, who nodded.

The men leered suggestively down at the females. "one life or none a'tall." they laughed, not letting up in their force in the least.

Kyra was starting to get agrivated. "And what the hell does that mean anyway? Could you be abit clearer?" she asked loudly her tone turning to a growl.
Seena looked at Kyra as if she were crazy. "Don't Kyra. Don't even think about it. I know you're getting a headache but don't do anything rash" she warned her sister quietly. 'I know you want to but you can't. Not here, not now. Understand me? You probably couldn't if you tried anyway' she added mentally. She manged to reach her pocket and pull out of her throwing knives. It wasn't exactly meant for close range attacks, but it would work. She flicked her wrist and felt slightly pressure on the blade. She hoped she had hit one of the men pinning her down, but she couldn't sure if the blade had hit flesh or dirt.
Kyra growled some at Seena's words but did as told. She'd have liked to push these guys off of her and cut them to pieces with her swords, but in her weakened state, she knew she couldn't. She struggled some trying to find a way out of their grip, or at least readjust herself so that she could hurt one in some way.

One man holding Seena yelped like a little girl, much to the amusement of everyone around him. Growling, he kicked the girl harshly, but stayed silent for his leader to speak.
"To pass this way you must forfiet a life to us. that is the law of this land."

"Well that's a god damn stupid law" Kyra yelled. She looked at Seena and smiled, an idea. 'I have an idea' she told her sister mentally, her devilish grin widening.
Seena winced slightly when she was kicked but didn't seem too affected otherwise. "You're not serious are you? Kyra no. You're losing your mind. If you think i will let that happen you're insane" she pointed out. She flicked her wrist in the opposite direction. She felt the knife leave her grip and heard it softly hit something over by Kyra. She was kinda curious what she hit. It could've been one of the men, it could've been a tree. She had no clue.
Kyra giggled, but the sound wasn't genuine, it was evil. "Seena, I would've thought that by now you would've realized i am insane" she told her. "Would you kindly let me up please? You can have her for your stupid toll. But i for one am sick of being stuck here" she said with a geniune sweet and innocent smile.

THe men blinked between the to women, obviously noting their simularities. Sheena's knife had missed them all, so with a shrugg they bound her up like a hog and one man tossed her over his shoulder as they prepared to disappear back into the woods.
