 Now that she was older, Nailah was allowed to venture farther from her den. She had always wanted to hunt and catch a meal for herself, and if big enough-for her family.
Though, she was unsure how to catch a meal. She had seen others do it, but she couldn't remember how one actually hunted. She knew it involved being silent and sharp but she was anything but. It wouldn't hurt to try though, as she crouched down low, crawling along, head tilted to the side as she tried to look for a small animal to catch.

With his eyes closed he sat in the shadow of the temples, it was a nice place to sit when the sun was high and more to the point it was the place his mother had told him and his siblings to play when the sun was too hot. Today, well the sun wasn't too hot but the air was hot, blowing warm in his face so his eyes were closed, closed so that the warm breeze didn't dry his eyes out.
His mother liked to give him such tips. Closed eyes didn't stop him from sensing someone in the area though and when the breeze blew the scent of another lion to his nose he turned his attention to her, opening his eyes to stare at the other juvenile.
He wondered what she was doing and for a long, silent moment he watched her before emitting a loud 'tutting' sound in to the air. "You're doing it all wrong." he states simply, blunt as any child could be and to the point. He had spent time observing other lions hunting and she was attempting to do it, attempting very badly in his opinion.

Nailah, so engrossed in her bad attempt to hunt certainly did not expect another lion to be around. Her head turned so swiftly towards the voice, her neck slightly cracking in the process as her eyes went wide, "E-eh?!"
As quickly as she could (which really wasn't quick at all), she tried to compose herself into a sitting position, suddenly feeling rather clunky and clumsy in the process.
She wished she could melt through the sand.

Getting to his paws the tri-coloured lion shakes his head his mop of hair falling in to his eyes only for a moment before he swept his head to the side and removed the obstruction. "You know you can't hunt like that. Haven't you ever watched anyone hunt before?" He asked again, feeling arrogant now, clearly she was no huntress, and that in his humblest of opinions made her less of a lion.
He walks straight up to her then touching her shoulders and pushing her fore quarters towards the ground. "You have to be low to the ground or everyone and his uncle will be able to see you. Especially prey." He snorts, he wasn't really sure why he was telling her this but he almost felt it was his duty to pass on his knowledge to this female. Se CLEARLY needed some sort of guidance she was really making a bad job of it.

"Um...well..." Nailah mumbled softly, "K-kinda...?" Oh dear. She truly felt like an idiot in front of this lion. He was probably thinking how much she failed at hunting.
She awkwardly bent towards the ground as he pushed her down, as she nodded slowly, "Okay..." so she had to be low to the ground. W-wasn't she doing that before? Or was she doing it wrong? "What else do I do...?" she asked shyly, not wanting to see the expression on Kosey's face.
