A lone stallion made his way through a shallow pond. He tried not to disturb the algee or any other the other creatures living in the water. The murky water only went up to his knees, and the feeling of the squishy mud beneath his hooves made him shiver. He'd have to make sure to clean it off before venturing further than the pond. The sound of crickets singing and frogs croaking around him brought back memories. A small smile made its way across his face. Those memories were sweet. He missed his childhood friends, and wish to see them all again some day. Because of his mother's travels, he never got to stay with one for longer than a month. "Ah!" Alistair's hoof sunk into a very squishy spot of mud, tossing him off balance. With a yell and a splash, he fell face first into the water.

Chandra walked slowly from the herd lands, her heart felt heavy with worry and sadness, it seemed once again that someone she had come to cherish had left her. It could be just her teenage hormones but for some reason it really seemed to hurt. She could see a picture of her and Alistair playing with frogs and mud as children and then learning to fly, and just as clearly she could see Sonnet and her dancing and flying.... oh she missed them both. Maybe it was just time to ignore boys from now on? Maybe her father, Maion, was right -boys where a bad influence and she should focus on her studies. She had always assumed he just said that because he was afraid of losing his little girl, but maybe he was right? After all he was the smartest creature Chandra knew. Tears fell from her eyes as she walked, she didn't care if anyone was around she just had to let it out before it ate away at her. And here in the forest there was no one from her family watching her. Stopping she let out a big sigh and then froze as she heard a yelp from near by. Forgetting her troubles she ran quickly towards it and found herself staring at the oh too famialr spot she had played at and visited as a child.... and there, covered in mud was the cause of the yelp. She didn't recognise whoever had got themself stuck so she simply assumed it was someone new. Jumping over a log towards the mud covered stallion she spoke softly, the tears and sadness still evident in her voice as the tear tracks glistened in the dull light under the canopy. "Stay still.. I will help you." She leaned next to the stallion and tried to help him regain his balance by taking some of the weight from him. "There," she said as she started to walk him to the egde of the muddy pond. "You should be careful around the mud... its easy to slip and break something." She knew that all too well, she had broke her wing while playing here after her friend Alistair had left, she wanted to feel close to him.
