Okay...enough was enough. It was time to stop moping, time to stop locking herself up, time to stop...just...ugh. Being a boring little brat. Just look at her! She wasn't a little brat anymore! She was older, she ********, dude! She was hot! Evari actually spent a long while just staring at herself in the mirror, checking out every curve of her body with excited curiosity. She was hot! Her hair was so long now, she'd styled it into pigtails with part of her bangs over one side of her face. She was taller...she was slimmer, curvier...she had boobs! That was definitely Evari's favorite part of her new change; the boobs. But this was all something she'd kept to the house so far...and it was beginning to drive her a little crazy. Evari needed to go out. She needed to stop this moping. But she just...ugh. She was just so confused. Evari sighed and sat down at the edge of her bed, propping her elbows on her knees and burying her face in her hands. Uuugh! She rubbed at her face and groaned, leaning back to flop down on her bed and stare at the ceiling. She needed to talk to someone about this. Who were her options?
Xai...? No, what if she got in huge trouble? Switch? But she probably didn't have time, and she wasn't sure if Switch would be comfortable talking about that kind of thing. From what Evari had seen she probably wouldn't be...maybe Luis? She was closer to Luis than Switch on the mere fact that she adored Faris, and so spent more time with Luis because she spent more time with her Rissy...so...Luis seemed pretty down to earth too. Very level headed. Sensible. Logical. The kind of person she needed right now. So Evari stood up again and tossed on some clothes, glancing out the window to see what the weather was like. So...she could wear the cute new clothes Xai didn't know she bought. Okay. Hopefully Luis wouldn't scold her for dressing this way! Xai wasn't home to see it and stop her.
Evari looked around at all the people she passed as she walked to the Blue Moose, rubbing at the back of her neck and helplessly finding herself staring at the backside of every pretty girl who passed her. But when she realized what she was doing she gasped, glowed bright red and blushed a bright pink on her cheeks. Gah! No! B-bad! She...she shouldn't be looking at...no! She...gah! ******** was so stupid! It wasn't making any sense!
Finally she arrived at the tavern her best friend's mother owned and ran, opening the door enough to peek into the tavern. Gah! It...it was full of people! Crap. And now most of the men were staring at her. Evari frowned and wrapped her arms around her bare middle, actually wishing she'd worn a bit more of a shirt than...this furry rainbow bikini top. Oh well, it was too late to change. Luis, Luis...where was Luis? Evari wandered through the tavern in search of her best friend's mother, heading for the bar first. Maybe Luis was there?

It was certainly a surprise visit to be sure. Luis was indeed behind the bar cleaning up a couple of glasses and making sure tankards of ale went out on the platters that the maids carted about. Luis didn't care about gender equality, there was only one type of person that waited on her customers at her tavern and that would be a barmaid. The gentlemen can work the bar (when she wasn't) or cook in the kitchen. So when Luis looked up she blinked a bit, "Evari?! Lass what're ye doin' 'ere? Faris ain't in righ' now. She went out t'do some errands for me. She'll be sore to 'ave missed ye. My ye've grown!"
Luis smiled lightly at the glowing girl for a moment before she paused and stared at her. There was something off about the girl, other than the growth and the addition of a woman's set of curves. It seemed as if the confidence that Evari usually radiated (along with the glow) was somehow dimmed and the Satyress felt suddenly concerned.
"Somethin' th' matter girlie?" She asked as she shoved the rag into a bartender's hand and moved around the bar to approach the blue haired girl.

Evari made an effort not to look at the barmaids, since it seemed most of them were quite...pretty. She made a very strong and mostly successful effort. Damn eyes! Stay focused! Luis was there, she had to talk to her! Gah! At the call of her name she smiled and nodded, walking up to the bar and stood across from Luis. She looked a little dismayed when Faris was mentioned, rubbing at the back of her neck and looking around. Right, Rissy. "O-oh. Well...that's okay, I don't...plan on going anywhere today, really. I can wait for her to get back! Heh. Thanks! It was...interesting." A lot of things had been 'interesting' lately. But then suddenly Luis was staring at her in a way that made her want to shrink away with shame, blushing and holding on to one of her elbows.
Annnnd then came the question. Was something the matter. Was something the matter? Evari wasn't sure what to think...which was why she was here in the first place! Had what she'd done been wrong? But she'd liked it! She really liked it. She frowned and pursed her lips for a moment, her grip on her elbow tightening and her other hand clenching into a fist. "I...I don't...know? I mean I...m-maybe I just, I..." Evari bit her lip and suddenly threw her arms around Luis, hiding her face in the woman's shoulder. "P-pleasehelpmeIthinkIdidsomethingbad!" She pleaded into the woman's shoulder, clinging to her tightly. She was trying, trying very hard not to bring attention to herself...but really attention already was on her just by walking through the door. It was hard to ignore a girl wearing bright colors and glowing red, apparently! But she was trying really hard! "I don't know wh-what to do I...do you have time? I just need someone to talk to. Please." Wow! She was even saying please! Evari didn't say that very often unless she was prompted to!

"I can imagine," Luis said simply and then continued to watch Evari act ... very off even for Evari. It was very disconcerting.
She quietly listened not really paying much mind to everyone around them and suddenly she found that she had a very distraught girl clinging to her. Her arms wrapped around her and she gently rubbed Evari's back, "Shh, lass, I am sure whatever t'was you did it wasn'a bad." Luis said as she gently brushed away a bit of Evari's stray hair and then started to gently lead her toward the stairs that lead up to the Dalziel family abode. "Of course I have time to talk to ye, lass," Luis said gently as she glanced back at the bartender. "Yer in charge until I get back, Johnny," and then she opened the door and continued to lead Evari to someplace more quiet and private. No one needed to see her be hysterical, of course they already got a glimmer of it but they didn't need a prolonged viewing.
Soon Luis lead Evari to the private kitchen of the upstairs household, "C'mon, darlin', 'ave a seat and I'll make us somethin' to drink."

She managed not to cry, but her shoulders were shaking. Evari was...scared? Was that what she was feeling? She hadn't talked about this to anyone yet, she didn't know what she was going to say! She knew what just not...how? But she was so happy to hear Luis said she had time to talk to her, keeping her face hidden with her hair so the patrons didn't have to see her face as Luis led her up the stairs, feeling a little awkward walking up them; her legs were longer than she was used to, and she hadn't walked up or down any stairs before now. She didn't trip or stumble, but she walked rather slow. Delaying the inevitable? Perhaps. But she wasn't pretending to be slightly uncoordinated up these stairs. She managed, sitting down when Luis offered her a seat in the kitchen. Evari sighed and sat with her elbows on her thighs and pushing them apart from each other, her hands holding onto the edge of the seat.
"Thank you I...just...I just can't talk to Xai 'bout this an' I don't know who else I can go to." Evari admitted with a frown, watching Luis wander about the kitchen. It was different from when she watched the girls on the way here, this was Faris' mom...so maybe what she'd been doing something wrong after all. Ugh. She lifted a hand to rake it through her hair, sighing with frustration.

For now Luis had fixed up two glasses of a berry juice blend that the Satyress had fixed up herself as she moved to sit near Evari just in case the girl needed to cling to someone. Her faun legs took the appearance of human ones mostly because it felt more natural that way when she sat down sometime. She stared at the girl with a concerned expression, she was acting so...So guilty, "You didna'e kill anyone, did ya lass? I mean I'll help ye as best I can but..."
Please let it be something easy, something she can deal with.
"Well either way we'll be here for ye, I know tha' much, a'ight. C'mon girl let me know what is on ya mind so we can work through it t'gether," Luis said encouragingly with a small smile. She had sat in similar sessions with old friends though none of them were a freshly grown teenage girl...
Good thing the boys were being watched by a friend of hers otherwise they'd have no privacy at all.

Evari accepted the glass and drank some of it, not caring what it was. It was pretty good though. She blinked and stared at Luis in shock at her question, dumbfounded that...she would even think Evari would...wh-what? "N-no! I...I just..." She held the glass tightly in both her hands and stared down at her reflection in the juice, frowning again. Luis was encouraging her to just spill it and she sighed, having another sip of the berry juice first. What was this? It was really good!
"You...know Victoria, right?" Evari asked quietly, looking up at Luis through her hair. Victoria knew Faris and hung out with Faris sometimes, so Luis had to know Victoria. Right? Hopefully. "Well, a few weeks ago we...went to this cafe thing. And she was telling me about these strings she's got on'er back." She began, sounding really nervous. She was nervous, terribly nervous, she was scared for what Luis would say. Would Luis ridicule her? Tell her what she did really was a bad thing? That Evari was wrong and she needed to correct what she'd done? She sighed. This was hard! "She had to...take off her dress a li'l t'show me...a-and she let me touch 'em! But when I did she started acting...really weird...making noises..." A deep blush started to set on Evari's face as she thought about the incident in the bathroom, holding her glass near lips and staring intently at the juice as if it was the most interesting berry juice she had ever laid eyes on.
"And she...we...er...w-we kissed..." Evari suddenly winced and ducked her head behind the glass as if that would protect her from some kind of wrath that would be wrought upon her by Luis. She was bracing herself!

It was often better to just spill it out and so Luis waited patiently and listened quietly as Evari told her everything about what had happened that got her so up in a lather. The Satyress tilted her head to the side as she took it all in and when Evari finished she stayed silent for a moment and stared into her own glass. She turned it about in her hands as she mulled over her words, Luis also wanted to make sure she got everything straight before she said anything. The Satyress understood the girl's distress and why she was so upset. It was a hard time in the girl's life and she was confused about how to feel about things and why. She reached over and held out her hand for Evari's.
"Babe, there's nothin' wrong with kissin' a girl an' likin' it," Luis began with a small smile, "there be lots'a girls jus' like ye and they enjoy it jus' as much. Seems t'me you got in over yer 'ead before y'were ready for it." The Satyress said simply as she watched the girl.
She seemed thoughtful for a moment before she added, "No one that truly loves ye will disown ye for how you feel an' what y'like. T's just how ye are. Yer a good girl Evari," Luis said encouragingly with a smile. "Faris loves ye a great deal, yer mum does too. I think yer a joy t'ave around cause y'have a nice energy to ye."
Thus far Luis hadn't seen how Evari behaved around boys.

Oh no...s**t...shitshitshit...Luis wasn't saying anything! Wh-why? Why wasn't she saying anything? Evari's eyes widened marginally and her heart raced with fear as she just waited for something. Anything. Just some kind of reaction. She looked honestly scared, flinching a little as her hand suddenly reached out toward her. Ah! What wa--oh...she...heh. How silly of Evari...to think Luis would hit her. Eh heh. Silly. Veeeery silly. She bit her lip a little and quietly reached out to hold Luis' hand, her own shaking with nervousness. Evari couldn't help but blush when Luis figured it out without Evari needing to tell her; she did like kissing Victoria...that was the problem. Wasn't it a bad thing? When told there were lots of girls, however, she blinked and just stared at Luis with surprise. Well, yeah. She knew that much. But those girls were on TV...they couldn't possibly be real, and they were often mocked or punished or what have you. "It's not like we planned it.." She said quietly, but it was all she said for now, keeping quiet to listen to what Luis had to say. Evari sipped at her drink again while watching Luis when she got quiet herself.
Hmm...no one that truly loved her, huh? That wasn't very many people. Evari chuckled and finished her glass, putting it down on the table and slouching forward again. This time her knees were together, her feet turned inward with her heels raised and pressed against the legs of the chair she was sitting on, propping her elbow on her knee and holding her head up with a sigh. Good girl. Ha. Right.
She wore a genuinely warm smile at the mention of Faris. "I love her too. Evari murmured with a giggle, suddenly blushing and sitting up sharply. She squeezed Luis' hand, her eyes wide. She didn't want Luis to think of that in the wrong context and take back what she said! "I-I mean! Like...she's the best friend I've ever had! I'd do anythin' for her...don't know what I'd do if she stopped being my friend." The last part hurt to think about. She didn't ever want to lose Faris, it was bad enough saying goodbye to her whenever they had to go their separate ways, never seeing her again would just break her heart. Luis admitted to even herself like Evari and she blinked, looking surprised for a moment before eventually smiling again. "Thanks, Luis. Heh. Now if only you'd tell the guys I've met I'm a good girl with a nice energy. Most of them would never believe you in a million years." Not that she really cared if they knew what she could be like; Evari felt her dislike for them was quite justified in every instance.

Luis shrugged a little, "Didn't say ye planned it lass, just sayin' it happened before y'were ready, but I guess that's how ye figure out whether or not y'like that sorta thing," she observed and then turned her glass between her hands quietly as she fell silent for a moment idly listening to what Evari was saying next.
The Satyress stared up at her and chuckled a bit, "It'd be alright by me if y'loved Faris that'a way so long as she returned it, but there'd be that side of me that would wann'a 'ave words with ye if ya ever hurt her," Luis said with a bit of a fierce grin appearing on her lips before it returned into a sweet simple smile. "I know she'd do anything for ya as well. She loves ya t'death and would be lost without ye if ya ever left 'er."
She gave a brief snort at the last bit of Evari's words and shrugged her shoulders, "So what, you don' get along with boys. What matters t'me is that you treat m'daughter well and that you'll at least pretend to be kind to her brothers whene'er y'come across 'em."

Hurt Faris? Evari's eyes widened and she shook her head. Hurt Faris?! That was just crazy! Why would Evari ever hurt Faris? She'd never do anything to do that! "I-I'd never do anything she doesn't want me to." That included, well, just about anything. More than just relationships. She meant it when she said she'd do anything for Faris, if Faris told her not to do something...well...she'd try? Yes, she'd try for her Faris. God forbid someone try to take Faris away from her though...yeesh. It was nice to hear that Rissy loved her too though, even if the other girl had said it herself that'd still been awhile ago. She liked hearing it again, it made her smile.
At the snort she blinked and tilted her head. Yeah, she didn't get along with boys. Except for Kay. "They're stupid, too easy to manipulate, and usually not any fun. They're not even that cute, girls're a lot nicer to look at." She said with a bit of a face that said 'ewwww'. Boys were flat and boring. Girls had pretty curves. Very pretty curves. Heh. Okay, so maybe this wasn't so bad after all. As long as she wasn't doing anything wrong? She was starting to feel a lot better about this. Because she did like kissing Victoria, and she did like looking at the pretty girls she passed. Luis was certainly pretty as well! She was a lovely woman, but she was Rissy's mother, and Evari just couldn't get herself to think of Luis in that way even if she wanted to try to. "I'll be nice. I can play nice...but usually boys just do things that annoy me, or something." The last thing Evari wanted was for Luis or Faris to be upset with her. So for their sake she'd play nice with the boys.

"I know," Luis said simply with a small smile. If Evari had even thought or feel of doing such a thing ... there would have been words a great many of them and amongst them would have been the phrase 'get away from my daughter' but since the Satyress sensed no ill will there really was no point in all that.
Luis laughed a bit at the girl's observation, "If'n that's how ye feel then it is no one's right to change ye. It isn't like ye made a calculated choice one mornin' to prefer girls over th'boys." She shrugged as she stood and began to gather the glasses after she finished her own glass of juice and wandered toward the sink with them. Luis was still listening to Evari as she tidied everything up, "Don' worry if y'smack one so long as he deserves it, Love," the Satyress responded in a light sing-song sort of voice.
If her sons got smacked they obviously deserved it for whatever it was they did.

Luis...Luis was right! No one could change except herself! And it was true, she didn't just wake up that day and go 'I'm going to kiss Victoria!' In fact the thought hadn't even crossed her mind until it was actually happening...but then her thoughts had been 'holy crap I'm kissing Victoria.' And then all this had happened. Though really it could help explain a lot; why she disliked almost every boy she met, why she felt every boy was stupid and far too easy to manipulate...even when she tried to be nice it just didn't work out. She'd tried being nice to Mrrh! They had gotten along! Until he proved how big of an a*****e he was. She couldn't stand that boy. "Heh. That's true, I really didn't." Evari sighed and turned the upper part of her body to fold her arms on the table, putting her head on them with her legs still turned the direction she had been sitting. It was an odd and awkward looking position but she was strangely comfortable this way. She laughed when given permission to smack one of the boys if she needed to, looking up at Luis with a cocky grin. "I'll keep that in mind, Luis~." She'd do her best to be nice if only for Rissy's sake, but if she had to she'd smack them good. Only if she absolutely had to, though. Evari put her head back down and went quiet for a bit, honestly feeling a lot better now than she had when she came in. It was a lot to think about, huh? Did she have to give herself a label now just because she realized she preferred girls over boys? Was there anything she had to do? Probably not. Those were silly thoughts...
"...Should I tell Xai?" Evari suddenly asked with a frown, putting a hand to her forehead and sighing. How would Xai take it? She didn't know anything about Ursontaean laws, did they view this kind of thing differently? Ugh.

"No worries then. You are what ye are and as I said before. The people that are important to ye will love ya no matter what," She said simply as she rinsed out the glasses and then sat with the girl again with a small chuckle and cupped her chin in her hands as she stared at Evari, "Please do, Lass. Boys need t'know their place with ye before they try to get one over on ye. Not all boys are stupid and easy to manipulate, jus' most of 'em," she explained simply with a small chuckle. "M'Husband was a smart man...for th'most part."
Luis didn't even hesitate and nodded a little, "Yer mother should know what t'expect and she also needs a chance t'accept this fact just as you had a chance t'do so, but f'different reasons. T's unkind to keep such a thing from your family," she explained quietly. "Otherwise they'll may expectations of ye...such as 'avin' grandchildren or a 'usband one day, things like that. T's best to keep 'em straight, it also makes introducin' yer partner to 'em easier, if'n y'find one to stay wit' f'life."

"Yeah, and I'm not takin' it from nobody no matter who they are, really. S'only so much I can tolerate. But yeah...not all boys're stupid. Kay's not so bad, him I actually like." Evari chuckled, glad that Luis was actually okay with her smacking her children. It wasn't like Evari would take advantage, or abuse it, she'd try her damn hardest to tolerate anything they did. They were two young boys...what was the worst they could do? They were young, right? She blinked and looked surprised to hear Luis talk about a husband, making a curious little noise. "Never knew you were married. That's neat..." Whatever made her happy, right? Maybe if she met this apparently smart man she wouldn't have such a poor outlook on the male gender. Heh.
Evari listened quietly to Luis' very quick answer, frowning and looking away. Guess that was true, she didn't want to give Xai some kind of shock-induced heart attack or something. If such a thing was possible. She really didn't want to ******** things up, especially not after getting closer to Xai. "I dunno if she thinks about grandchildren're anythin'." But that was more of an offhand observation than shooting Luis' suggestion down. She was just...scared. She couldn't help but snort at the 'keep 'em straight' bit. Heh. But a partner? Hmm...would she ever have one? There was Victoria but even Victoria had said she wouldn't be the only person she ever kissed, so she didn't think they'd have any kind of commitment to each other. Though the idea didn't sound half bad...Evari would like to have fun though, probably. "If, yeah...I'm just...really scared." Evari admitted quietly, frowning and clenching her fists. "I don't know how her people or whatever think of this...o-or if she'll get mad, or if she'll just...make me leave. I don't want her to hate me." That was what she was scared of. She loved Xai...Xai was special to her.
